A creator converts wefts into K-tip hair extensions after the vendor shipped the wrong product. She uses fusion techniques from cosmetology school in 2015 to complete the project, dealing with a broken flat iron and dyeing the extensions black to blend the model's gray roots.

So I decided to take a course on K-tips extensions. I'm really in love with them, and lately they have just been blowing my mind. So here's my first model. I decided to get her texture of hair from my vendor, which took 3 weeks to get, and then they sent me the wrong hair. They sent me wefts instead of the K-tips, so I had to actually make them K-tips myself, which was crazy. And of course, in the course I took, they only taught pre-tipped extensions, which I did not have the luxury of doing. However, in 2015 in cosmetology school, I did what we call fusions back then, and, um, I guess it kind of set me up to where I kind of remember what I was doing, which it don't look like I knew what I was doing, but trust me, like, it was okay for the time being. And I like loved her hair, God bless her heart. Anyway, I started really getting into the hang of doing them, and then I realized that my iron was no longer getting hot. Thank you, Amazon, for nothing. So I had to stop for the day and wrap it up and continue the next day. I only got like 4 rows in, but I had to do what the pros do and show what it looked like when you pull it all up because it's so cute. That's what really— I'd be like, oh my God, this is like hair porn. Anyway, so I started getting into the hang of things. You see her shirt's different, so this is the next day, which the replacement iron went out, so I had to stop after this again. And then we decided that— well, I guess I decided I wanted to dye her hair black because at the top of her hair it was getting really gray, so we wanted to blend it better, and I didn't want any problems with her having long, janky out of her hair. So I decided we are going to dye these things black. Mind you, this is my first time doing this, so since 2015, which does not count. So after my training, this is my first time doing this. I get all these beautiful things in, and as you see, I stopped doing those rows. I really like to just freestyle my parts.
