Hey everyone, it's your girl TT Does It All, and I'm going to show you how to tie down your lace frontal wig, how to keep it up, how to deal with curly hair. And yeah, this is a wig by Beauty Forever, and the information on this exact wig is in the description below, so go ahead and check that out if you like this look. This is a little bit of a different video. This was after I had bleached the knots, and I'm like, all right, I'm ready to put it on my head. And then I found out it was a little bit smaller than my head size. And I had the perfect client for it. So this is what came in the box, and I'm going to actually show you how to tie your edges down with this, how to maintain those curls while keeping your edges tied down. And you want to sleep with this kind of scarf on your head, ladies. Okay, so this is a bit of a different video, but you all will see what I mean. I'm letting you in on some client conversation also, so enjoy this video and don't forget to thumbs up and subscribe. Look, I'm seeing how you did last night.
Did I do okay?
You tied it, you tied it.
I tied it, and my sister said hers still down, her baby hair still down.
I glued hers. Well, yeah, she had adhesive, um, oh, I got you, under her closure. So did you have to put mousse or water on it again?
I did, because you know me, I don't like the big hair, but that's okay. I just did it anyway because it was— no, I really didn't have to. I think I just did it out of habit.
Mhm.
I love it.
You do? How's the back feel? The back felt a little— oh, that's what I was gonna say, it's a little looser, but I put it—
yep, not too much. I don't want to get no headache, right? You need to show me how to tighten it just in case.
You, you— okay, so you— it's hard, it's really hard to put— tighten it while it's on your head. Oh, very hard.
Just probably a little bit more because I don't want it to be giving me a headache, but it's snug, but it's not Like it could be, it could be just a little bit like down here.
It's close.
Okay. And I seen your hair with the little bun in the back, in the top, when you had the curly hair.
I was like, girl, so we can do it. So we can do some stuff with this.
Yes, this is amazing.
Okay. I told my husband, I said, she was talking about I might not be for her when I was talking. I said, she better— the devil is alive. I don't care what she do, I'm doing it. Let me turn around. All right.
Yeah, I understand why you felt about that. My husband hate for anything negative to be said about him.
He must think he's amazing. I mean, you know, I don't understand that. I'm not perfect. I do understand that, but criticism makes you—
my brother had to learn criticism. Criticism makes you better because it gives you something to—
I mean, yeah, nobody's perfect, but it's not about perfection.
It's about do you want to let somebody's opinion become your reality? She's entitled to her opinion. Oh yeah, and that's it. It's her opinion, not yours. Like, it ain't for her.
Like you said, that's the best solution. You just need to find somebody that do both.
If you can't, hey, move on.
Right, that's what I was responding. I don't need to be on no thing on website.
I'll be like, look, this is what I do, take it or leave it, baby.
Here's a comb, I'm gonna pull that back in under. Okay, how's that feel? Better?
Absolutely.
Does it feel tighter? Yep, it feels tighter to me too. It does. I can feel how it's— I like it there.
It's been right on the neck, um, what do you call that, nape or nap?
Nape, yeah. It's a nape nap, one of those things. I don't know even what to do. I just can't believe that I did not record any— I mean, well, I recorded it, but— oh, let me show you. So long story short, I recorded this start to finish. Of me installing this lace frontal wig, and that's what you see in the upper left-hand corner. Y'all, I forgot to turn my camera back to autofocus, so it was zoomed in for it to be like a close-up shot, and it wouldn't focus on anything further away because I didn't have it on autofocus. So I'm like, what the heck can I do? I had to have my client come in the next morning, which is where you see this video beginning, and, um, I got to just kind of see how she slept with it, teach her how to sleep in it, how to tie it down, what to do with it. And I'm going to show you all that information. But up in the upper left-hand corner is that blurry video that I did with the start to finish, and I just made it a little bit smaller so that it's not as fuzzy. But you all can see that I did record this start to finish, but mistakes happen, things happen. Yeah, I was really working on trying to figure out what the heck to do. So you'll see that in the upper corner, and you know why it's in the corner instead of full screen now. Okay, okay. Let me let you see so you can know what I'm talking about. And I try all night. When I tell you I tried, um, like sharpening tools. I bought sharpening tools to sharpen them. What? Lord Jesus.
And it's okay because it's going to be even better next time. Time because now it's gonna be perfect.
It's still perfect.
It was perfect though.
So as I show my client how blurry this original video was, you know, that way she understood why I had her come back the next day. But this is a glueless lace frontal install, no thread, no needles, any of that. So what I do on my head is I would take a rat tail comb and I would slide it underneath the wig across the hairline to remove it from my head. And originally it's laid with baby hair cream. So as I'm showing right now, I will remove it from my skin, and the next morning I will put it back on in place, lay a little bit of baby hair cream on top of it, tie it down, and when it's hard, I'll take it off and it'll be stuck like it's bonded down, but it's not. And it lasts days. And that's just my glueless method if I want to be able to take it off and put it back on each morning without having it actually bonded my head. I cannot believe that. Well, it still looks good.
It looks amazing. Like, my husband don't like curly hair. He really likes it. And LaToya Kelly got me, um, a drink on the way from— on the way home. No, no, no, not that kind of drink. But I had me a drink, that drink, when I got home.
Okay.
I make this hippie punch. I should have brought you one.
Hippie punch, girl.
I make a drink and I put it in a mason jar and freeze it and just grab me one whenever I want? I got you. When I bring you this drink, it's— I call it a one-hit wonder. You don't need but one, you'll be right.
Look, will I be able to work the rest of the day?
You will. Well, I ain't advising you to be drinking it while you working.
My customers bring me drinks to like drink.
That's not that one. Okay, this is the one you drink after you go home.
After I've driven home?
After you've driven home, like when you're sitting down in the tub. Because what you do is you sit it out when you get home You run your bath water, you sitting on the tub next to your little thing, drinking it while you in the tub, just chilling. I promise you'll be—
Hippie punch?
I make a hippie punch. I mix all kinds of little stuff and it tastes like lemonade. But you'll be right.
Okay, well, I'm waiting for it.
I should have bought you one today.
Look, I'm ready. You drink? I'm ready.
I didn't know you drank.
You what?
No, I didn't know.
Oh yeah, I guess you're just now getting me on board. Yeah, I'm a borderline alcoholic, girl.
You just don't even understand. I could drink shots of Patron just back to back like a college girl.
Me too.
This is amazing.
I'm sorry you drove all the way back here.
I told you to wait, but I just let you young people— I have learned with you young people.
Young people? You young people.
You was a young people.
You people.
I'm old enough to be your mother.
Uh-uh. Yes, I am. That's my mama.
How old are you?
How old you think my mommy is? How old are you? How old you think my mommy is?
Your mama probably was an older mama. But I'm a young mama, so my son is 36, he may turn 37 in January. Hmm, I'm your mama. So listen, I had to go with the flow. I said, well, she don't want to wait, but I'ma go because I don't think there's nothing for her to do. But I just don't know nothing about her. Maybe she got a trick up her sleeve. I'm willing to learn.
By the time you come back, I may have a whole nother wig to just give you.
You know what, I want to be your Guinea pig.
Well, when they give me a small wig, I'm definitely gonna have to call you, man.
I could be the guinea pig. And then you know what you need to do? Seriously, you need to target older women.
Like, you see my YouTube? That's all the women on there.
Oh, well, you need to really target older women. Like, show the video at church. You know how they be looking a hot mess?
Oh, so I'm supposed to go to church and record?
You're saying you can give it to one sister, the one that do all this? Give it to one sister on the page.
I don't know if I could deal with her though.
I don't like nothing like—
I like— but isn't it here that you want out down? Because you see behind it, there's nothing. It's just this.
Yeah, I like it. Like, I ain't got no issue with it. So now it's still kind of poofy. That's what I'm like. That's why I put more mousse on, because the end— I think it's because it's so much hair. Like, like, like you had it tamed down. I'm not supposed to pull it, but yesterday you had it. So then I need to wet it and then comb it in. I can't comb it every day.
I would start from the end. Just get— make sure you do it with a wig brush.
I need to go buy one.
What I mean, have it— and honestly, get it— tie your edges down, get in the shower, and let the ends get soaked.
And then as they're wet, it's gonna be I can take a shower in it?
Yeah, without a cap. What I say is let it get wet because then it'll air dry it. Make sure it stays tied down.
What did you tie it down with? That's what I was going to ask.
Oh, that's what— oh, I'm glad you reminded me because I didn't put that—
I didn't—
I don't think it came with, uh, something. I'm gonna just give you what it came with. Yes!
Yeah, you need to have me on the video showing people that don't know how to do hair, okay, how to tie this down.
Okay, yeah. Oh, that's a nice scarf. It's like a little— it's a like a bandana. Bandana. Bandana. Okay, so what I do is I take it, fold it the other way. Come on. Okay, so I'll take it.
Now that's what you should have done video right now.
I am.
Oh, you are? Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I didn't know.
So I take it and I fold it this as small as I can. I probably do like that. Okay, and then hold your hair out of your face for me.
Now see, I need some clips because at home, that's why I was having trouble last night, how to hold this hair up and tie it. I was struggling, but I got it.
So you want it to be tied down just like that, to where your edges are tied down, to where everything's still gonna be in place. And even when you want me to put it on there or let's take it off, take it off.
I'm just looking.
Take it off or put it on?
You just leave it off because I know, I mean, I know how to tie it. I just need to have something to hold on them big clips. I need to go get some of those.
So when you—
because I can't hold and tie.
You don't need to. You can go under it yourself. I just can't, you know, it's like, be back here. If my arms were your arms, I would just go under and tie it myself. Okay, so, um, when you in the shower, let it go, keep it tied up, and just let your ends get wet. This is the only part you want to worry about keeping dry. That's it. So just keep it tied down when you're in the shower, even if you need to like push it up and, you know, wipe your forehead and stuff. Um, let the ends get wet. When you get out, hit the ends of it with some, um the mousse.
Oh, okay.
Hit the ends of it with the mousse so it stays tame. Even if when you're in the shower you want to take it and take the brush and kind of, you know, pull out the curls and make them more like defined— not defined, but, um, together, you know, like so it's not so big.
Okay.
And hold it while together, and then make sure when you get out you put that mousse while it's soaking wet so that it's— it stays that way when it dries.
Okay, got it.
So yeah, but yeah, don't be afraid to leave it on when you're in the shower.
Okay, so what about swimming? Can't go swimming in it, huh?
I mean, honestly, if you want to just tie your edges down, but I would not dip my head in the water with— not none of this. The back, fine, it can get wet like this. But wait a minute, before you get in a pool, I will rinse this out because you don't want that mousse the stuff in the— no, you want the mousse in the water with everybody else.
So shampoo my hair if I'm going to—
just rinse it, rinse it.
I just go to the hot tub and get in there.
I'm good.
Yeah, it's cold.
This is perfect like this.
Yeah, I was sort of feeling like the old lady before I came here, and then I was like, oh, she's gone! Yay! So everybody, you seen all the comments on Facebook?
I did. It's a lot of people.
See, because it's hard to find somebody somebody who really knows what they're doing because you really don't think you can afford to get your hair done.
It's not that bad.
But I didn't know that, and then this is good.
And then you keep wearing it over and over and over. Yes.
Just tie it down. And my thing is that this part looks so natural, so I'm just like, how long is it going to stay like this?
Just make sure you tie it down every night, and you already own some of my baby hair cream.
Yes, I got, I got a half a bottle.
Yeah. Okay, you see how little I put on my finger?
Do I need to like every fourth, like maybe every— well, I'm gonna try to see how long. When you coming back?
Uh, I'll be back Monday. Okay. Yeah, and then I'm here.
Okay, so probably next Friday I'll come and you may not need to.
You may be like, let me— okay, let me dab a little bit here, tie it down. Perfection.
I think I only need like, um, how do I take it back?
What?
Oh wow.
Just now, look, don't pull from here. No, just go in the hair. Yeah, so look, so I'm putting it back. Okay, go ahead. Okay. I love it.
Thank you.
