K tips on shorter hair? #ktips

Can I get K-tips on short hair? How long does my hair have to be? Typically I'll say 4 to 6 inches, but obviously here you see it's not 4 inches. The reason for 4 to 6 inches is because if you want to be able to do high ponytails and maximize the styling capabilities of your K-tips, you want between 5 and 6 inches for K-tips. But if you have shorter hair, you can still get K-tips and achieve looks like this. It just will take more actual K-tips being installed blend out the length of your hair being shorter with the longer lengths. I personally always cut layers in, especially when someone has shorter hair, so that the blend from short to long is seamless and it flows naturally. So this is her end result.
