Lace Closure Full Sew in by @TTDoesitAll (Not a Tutorial)

Three stylists discuss lace closure sew-ins and why hair breaks. The real culprit isn't tight pulling but overly tight braiding. They stress greasing hair to prevent dryness, and one shares how her hair grew back noticeably healthier after removing a sew-in.

So people see like this part and they're like, oh my God, her hair is pulling, her edges are too tight. I know, but it's like, I know, I know it's not, but the stuff that I put on there, it makes them think that because it's so smooth, it's like, it looks like it's pulling, bro. I had a customer on there arguing them to death in the comments and she's like, no, my hair is really not tight. She did not pull my hair out. It's hereditary, blah, blah, blah. They're like, no, girl, I'm looking at somebody else pulled my hair out.
Oh really?
Yeah, from a quick weave? No, she did a frontal.
Oh, it is.
Now another reason why I came back to you— so that happened like a year ago, and I've been getting tons— my hair haven't really been growing since then. It grew a little bit this time, and I think It's because it's not—
it's out. I think you've experienced breakage on parts because they were probably braided too tight and pulling, but mine don't. I mean, mine are secure, but they're not tugging on the wrong part.
I felt like my hair was a lot healthier after you took it down.
Yeah, yeah. And I noticed that too. A lot of people Not even just in St. Louis, they just do not grease hair, period.
No, I asked— I actually used to ask people because I'm like, I need my hair to grow back. That girl took my hair out so bad, she didn't know what she was doing. But I've been going to other people who, you know, they do good hair, they do good sew-ins, but they don't—
I'm like, they don't grease the damn hair.
I even like— I had that stuff. I would be bringing the people like, can you put this in my hair? And they'd be looking at me like I'm crazy.
Like, girl, you got to know, grease in your hair, right? Oh, okay.
My hair be so dry.
Mhm.
It gets real dry anyway.
That's why I was surprised, cuz I even washed my hair while it was up last time, and it wasn't like a lot of dandruff and stuff like that.
This was so much more healthier.
I get a lot of men on my team too. They never even met me, but they be like, girl, go back to wherever that was.
They do.
I had this one girl, her mom, she, she folks her hair down.
Oh really?
Yeah, she said she went to somebody He said—
I don't know how to take them. I never take— I mean, it'll take me forever, days. So he always said— he been taking them down for years, and this time he like, who did this?
Yeah, it's because I don't do all those extra loops. Like, it's secure, so it's not gonna come out. But I didn't come out either, right?
Now, some people do extra loops on me sometimes and do come out.
Time. See, that's just a waste of coffee. It'll take you at least an hour.
