In this video LaToya "Titi" Kelly reviews a Malaysian water‑wave hair bundle purchased from Aliexpress and demonstrates how she builds a full wig using four 26‑inch bundles and a 4x4‑inch 20‑inch lace closure. She walks through her step‑by‑step construction process: parting and tweezing the closure, positioning the closure on a canvas head, sewing the first two bundles with doubled weft for volume, folding the third bundle’s track for a semi‑doubled effect, and leaving the front bundles flat without doubling to achieve a natural hairline. Kelly explains why she does not bleach the knots on the closure, contrasts lace closures with frontals (highlighting the need for adhesive on frontals, the fragility of edges, and the longer lifespan of closures), and shares her professional stylist perspective on recommending closures over frontals for most clients. She then performs a wet‑wash test, using a large paddle brush to detangle the hair while wet, air‑drying it to showcase the curl pattern, lack of shedding, tangling, or matting. Throughout, she references wearing the finished wig to a sorority conference in Nashville, notes the compliments received, and repeatedly encourages viewers to subscribe. The video serves both as a product endorsement and a practical tutorial for hair‑extension enthusiasts and professional stylists.

Hey everyone, it is your girl Titi, and this is a hair review of this beautiful Malaysian water wave hair. You all know by now if you've watched my videos, and if you haven't, why haven't you subscribed yet? You can click it now while you're watching the video. Yes, go ahead and do that. I'll wait. Okay, I have 4 26-inch bundles in and 1 4x4 20-inch lace closure. I just wanted like a look that I could just go out in, throw it on, don't have to customize no baby hairs, and it is a piece in itself without any extra customization added to it. So this hair I wore to a conference for my sorority in, uh, where was I at? Nashville, Tennessee. And I will put up pictures of what it looked like that particular day. But what I did when I made this wig was I actually sewed, put my cap on my canvas head, I put my, um, closure on first. I part my closure first and make sure I tweeze that and everything first so I kind of get an outcome of the end in the beginning. I hope that sounds or makes sense. But what I do, I put, put it on there where exactly I want it, and then I will sew up to it. So I have 4 26-inch bundles. So what I did was I started my first bundle in 26-inch, doubled the weft. So I folded the track in half and sewed it in double for the first 2 bundles. And then the last, um, 2 for the second to last bundle, the third bundle, I folded half of the entire track over. So half of the weft was doubled. And then of course, once you get more and more towards the front of your head, you want it to be super flat. So I don't like to double the, double the tracks up there. So what I did was I went ahead and, um, did the rest of the third bundle and all of the fourth bundle by itself. And, um, I fit all four bundles in here, and all of it is up here as you see. Um, it is beautiful. I have not brushed out any of it. Now, of course, when you part your closure, you're gonna have to comb through some of the waves. And of course, when you tweeze to get all that hair that you tweezed out, you're going to have to kind of finger comb through it, which is not done here. So you see here, this has not been finger combed at all. But if you look up here, this is more fluffy because I did have to finger comb through it. And if you also look over here, it's more fluffy right here because this is a closure hair and this hair has not been finger combed through. So I have not wet washed or anything this hair. I did wear it out and I had zero problems. It was so long, it was so beautiful, and I got so many compliments on it. And all I had to tell people was subscribe to my channel and wait for that video to see how I liked it. So of course I like the hair. Um, if you look at it today after being worn, it still looks good. Which makes me even happier. So, um, what I'm going to do before the end of this video is I'm actually going to wet the hair, comb it through, and then let it air dry and come back and see how it looks. Okay, sound fair enough? Okay. Um, a question you all might ask is, did I bleach the knots? No, I did not bleach the knots to my lace closure. I usually don't like to bleach knots because on lace closures, they're supposed to last a lot longer than frontals. Frontals are across— sorry, I had the brush. Frontals are from here to here, so of course you're going to have itching, which will cause balding. And you have to actually have it on your hairline and look like a hairline. So they're a lot more— frontals are a lot more fragile because your edges are fragile and you have to do things with them as if they were your real hair.. So for me, those need to be bleached to look more natural. A closure, you can tweeze your part and just put it down and it'll look just fine. And I do have customers that are like— I'm sorry, for all of those who are not subscribed, you should have subscribed by now at least. But if you have not, I'm a hairstylist. I do sew-ins for a living, and my clients sometimes come to me like, hey, I want to wear a frontal because I don't want to leave any hair out. But I don't want glue. And I'm like, I use glue now. So I honestly would persuade them to go to a lace closure. And I persuade— I would recommend. And if they don't want to go to a lace closure, then I don't know what to tell them. Lace closures, I don't use glue on them, no adhesive whatsoever. And on my frontals, I do. I've gotten the best results out of using adhesive. And I won't say the best results, I will say the long-term wear comes when you put adhesive on it. My adhesive lasts up to 3 weeks. So that's why when it comes to lace closures, you don't have any adhesive and you're good to go, and your hairline's not showing, your edges aren't showing, nothing's being damaged or not protected, everything's covered up. So, and also I do everything in my mighty power to make it look natural. So if you're looking at my hair now, you're like yeah, that does not look like your real hair coming out of your scalp, then okay. But to me, it looks like my real hair coming out of my scalp, and I make sure that my customers' hair looks like it's coming out of their real scalp too. This is not about that. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go wet all of this hair and brush it all through. And what you're going to need is a big paddle brush like so. So you don't want to use anything— and this has hair in it, I'm sorry. You don't want to use anything fine-toothed. You don't want to use anything like that. So you want to use like a big, big brush.
So this is before I washed it, and you can see how that top part is a little poofy. Um, but when I washed it, I used that big paddle brush and I just brushed it through while it was wet, let it air dry, and this is the outcome. And I absolutely love this hair, if you cannot tell. I didn't have shedding, I didn't have anything matting up in the back, I didn't have tangling, and the curl pattern is beautiful even after being washed. So thumbs up to this hair.
