⭐️NEW⭐️ How to Remove Lace Frontals WITHOUT Damage by @ttdoesitall

TT shows how to safely remove lace frontals using 91% rubbing alcohol and Dawn dish soap. She sprays the adhesive, lets it soak, then gently works it off without pulling, checking that her client Keisha feels no pain throughout. She cleans the hairline with Dawn instead of shampoo to avoid stripping natural oils.

Hey y'all, this is your girl TT, and that you hear shaking is my tea, okay? I'm going to sip tea while I make this video, and yeah, sit back and have you some iced tea with me and enjoy. Okay, so this is Keisha. If you don't recognize her, this is who usually does my makeup. But this bad boy, this 91% alcohol spray I got from Walgreens, as you see, and it is your lifesaver when it comes to removing your adhesive. Okay, that and Dawn. Yes, Dawn. So I'm gonna spray one side, and that corner over there is the after. So I'm going to spray one side of it, and I'm going to let that it, spray it, make sure it's good and soaked, and then I'm gonna go to the other side while that penetrates the adhesive to remove. I don't even know if that's the right word, but I'm gonna sip my tea to that. Okay, so after you do one side, you're going to do the other side. And you see that I've soaked that side. Now I'm going to go to the other side and put my— test it and see what's happened. And I see like, okay, it's not really budging like I would want it to. So, oh, there, there it goes. So I'm going to spray more where it's needed. I'm going to see there, and there it goes. You don't have to do much for it to move. Let it sit and do its thing and go to the other side, and you're good. Okay, so do not rush when you're removing your lace frontal. I've talked to several people and their entire stories have been, oh, I use 75%, or I use whatever was in my closet. Listen, if this video told you to use 91% rubbing alcohol to take that off, don't use anything less than, okay? At State Beauty Supply. And I don't know who's watching this video or where you are in life, but there are some places that you can get 99% rubbing alcohol. Imagine how fast that works. Okay, okay, I'm going to sip my tea to that. All right, so as you see, I'm done with one side already, and this is like 3 minutes in. It's very quick. You just have to let it sit and go to the other side. So I am just working my finger under it to see if it's removing or not, to see where the adhesive is. And I'm just— you see I'm spraying it on top. I'm not going in or anything. I'm just spraying it on top and letting it soak through. And I'm feeling it to see like, okay, is that— is that wet in there? Is it going through? Do I need to spray some more, and boom, it's off. So I've checked with my client, hey, did that hurt? Did anything pull? Are you okay? Did you feel anything snag? And she was like, nope, I'm good. And trust me, we are having a very detailed conversation. So if you see a reaction or a facial expression, it's all about what we talking about, okay? Because Keisha's like my girl. I met her in 2018. She did my makeup for my 31st birthday. Oh my God, you got— no, no, no, she did my makeup for my 30th birthday, and I am going on 32 this year in March 2020. Shout out to all the Pisces. Okay, anyway, as you see, I'll get back to that story, but for right now, as you see, the ball cap method came right off with the frontal. And I am detaching that cap from the frontal, and then I'm going to cut that out because I'm going to replace that. And I am going to clean the frontal and her hairline. If I were a full-service salon, which I am not— you can say what you want to say, but hey, I literally did this touch-up for her just for YouTube mistake. So I'm not a full-service salon, so I'm not going to completely submerge her head in water and wash her head. Well, that sounds like I'm drowning her. You know what I mean? So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to simply clean her hairline, clean the frontal, and reapply it. So right now I am using shampoo, but I do not recommend you using shampoo. I usually clean frontals when I'm at home. And at home I use Dawn. And when I tell you, you think about it, you get that 5 times more action Dawn, and it's cutting through grease, it's cutting through this, it's cutting through that. So imagine what it will do to this adhesive, to the baby hair cream. For me personally, that I use, if you all seen my videos, my baby hairs, you know that's what I use on them. So That Dawn cuts through every product you can imagine. So I will use Dawn across the hairline. Literally just today, this morning, I cleaned 5 wigs, took those to my shop, came back with 9 more, which I just put on my Snapchat, TT Does It All, if you're not following me already. But if you are following me, you will know that the day that I put like 9 frontals up, um, hanging on hangers in my kitchen, and now they're literally sitting in front of the fan because I am drying them now. So preparing them to sell from all my YouTube reviews, all my wigs, just everything. So I just— I have like 30 wigs and they gotta go. Anyway, I am— let's talk about me and Keisha. So I met Keisha in 2018, um, doing my makeup for my 30th birthday, March 4th. And, um, she— we just clicked ever since. Like, we're both entrepreneurs. At that time, we were both single. You see the ring? Yeah. Okay, no, but really, um, we were both single. We were— my husband was traveling a lot, so you know, we hung out a lot. She was literally like my girl, my go-to. Um, we hung out, we went to eat, we went shopping. Like, yeah, we were joined at the hip. So Keisha and I, our conversations— you see how serious she looks right now? It's like, oh girl, what? Like, oh, she's like— so yeah, that's how close me and Keisha are at point. So, um, don't think that I'm hurting her at any point. I am very tender-headed myself, so with my clients, I'm always asking them, are you okay? Even if I feel like I pulled their hair, I'm like, oh my God, I'm sorry. And they're like, what are you apologizing for? I didn't feel anything. And I'm like, oh, well, it looked like it hurt. I'm sorry if it hurt. You know, like, I genuinely care. So I'm just— long story short, don't take her expressions as of she's in pain because she's not, trust me. Sips tea. So, and I'm not, I'm not trying to be shady. Usually sipping tea does mean you're shady, but I'm literally sipping tea because it's like 2 o'clock in the morning and I'm doing this video and I'm about to go to bed, so I'm sipping my decaffeinated tea. All right, so after I do all of this, I will then take her to my portable shampoo bowl. And hopefully you guys saw that video. If not, it's in the description below. I work in an office space, so I have my portable shampoo bowl, which is what I'm going to shampoo her hair with. And she is actually my first client. I have never done anyone's hair in there before because I hadn't even bought a shampoo chair for it. Because as you all know, if you watch that video, the bowl was $2,700 and came messed up, so I had to get it fixed first, which took me a year to make time. But yeah, you get it. You were my first shampoo client and I have not bought a chair. Really? Just was like, okay, okay, let me scoot back a little. Yeah. So I can literally see, come and play in my tree. Are you okay? Yeah, I'm excited. This is cool. So usually I have people come already shampooed, um, with their hair underneath and stuff clean already. So we don't really get to do that for you, like clean what's inside of your head. Okay, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze. Okay, towel over your hair and all that. There you go. Okay, there you go. Okay, make sure all that leaks out. Alcohol, huh? Nothing. Alcohol. Oh, that's part of the town. Yeah, I was like, I'm getting high. No, it ain't. Yeah, I got so, so many compliments. Did you put my blue up? Is it safe? Yes, it's somewhere tucked. Okay, I just don't know when I want to do it. I don't know, I wanted— if the lazy side of me likes this wig, bro. Yeah. Unicorn. So Keisha is the type that does like her color. She does look good in them. She is a very bold personality, so she has some blue hair that is a frontal and bundle she wants me to make into a wig and put on her head. But honestly, by the time we take this wig off of her head, she's gonna be ready for a sew-in. In. And she's going to her size. She usually has a mohawk. She's been wearing like the dread, the faux locs in a mohawk. So honestly, she's about to be ready to get a sew-in because yeah, she's been rocking this wig and she's loving it. So a month of new growth, a month of new growth on top of what she already had. Oh, it's about to go down. But what I am doing now is I am just taking her, um, frontal. I rub some 91% rubbing alcohol on my towel, and then I went ahead and did, um, took the— and I had to let my other client in. She was— Keisha was a squeeze-in so I could record this video for y'all. Um, but my client was at the door, so I had to let her in. But, um, I just rubbed a little bit of alcohol on any remaining adhesive that was inside the frontal where I would bond it to, to her— the, the melting mechanism. Okay, I, um, had to remove any leftover adhesive. So now I am going to go ahead and use my baby hair cream to smooth her edges back, and I do that so that no hairs are, are all over the place. To me, when you have a clean base for your touch-up, it allows for the hair to just be smooth back. If you have random hairs that are coming forward and the hair is not smooth back and uniform, to me me, that's where little hairs get snagged and they're out of place, so they get caught in the adhesive. They're not all going straight back, so they're just all over the place. And I'm a very neat, detailed, thorough person, so I just like things a certain way. So I'm going to go ahead and do my ball cap. I'm going to release some of that tension from her head because some stocking caps are smaller than the others, to be honest. And when I'm doing this on top of a man or on top of a wig back there, it tends to be a little tight. So I loosen up a little bit of that pressure, but I do my ball cap method all over again, which I previously did use. I'm leaving out her sideburns because they do go down a little bit further and the wig was customized to my head, not hers. So, um, this was a wig I previously did a YouTube review on. Don't ask me which video it was because to be honest, I got like 30 wigs. I just don't remember which is which at this point. Um, so yeah, she's, uh, just utilizing one of those for now and she just kind of started enjoying it. So she's talking to my other customer now because my other customer was like, hey, I really want you to know my weight and my makeup. We all get that. I get that as a hairstylist when they run into me, you know, I was really trying to get in touch with you to do my weave. Girl, I got a whole website, titidositall.com. So if you was really trying to get in touch with me to do your hair or your makeup, for her instance, they would have went ahead and booked on that website. But that's neither here nor there. But sometimes people do have questions. I respect that and I understand that some people literally do have questions, and it's like, I just want to get answers to these questions before I book. So, um, one thing that I do remove is if there's any adhesive that's in front of the frontal, I will remove that with some 91% rubbing alcohol. If there's any white, I'll remove that with like water, um, like any flaking or anything like that. So yeah, what I would do— I mean, oh my God, if you see the side by side of the beginning versus the end, we have done a complete transformation. But this is it, y'all. Thumbs up this video, tell me what y'all thought, and I'll see you on the next video.
