LaToya Kelly is using traditional K-tips instead of invisible bonds because they don't shrink and stay together, making them easier to maintain. A few gray K-tips are blended into the rose-colored base for a natural look.

Y'all, this is the update. We are not leaving any hair out between these K-tips. These are the traditional, not the invisible, so she does not have to worry about any shrinkage in between the bonds. Her maintenance will be super easy because, um, everything is all together. So that is the advantage for the traditional versus the invisible. Um, she does have some gray K-tips in there, but as you see, it doesn't look crazy on the rose without the gray. I am integrating it in there just sporadically. So just a little update where we are.
