Slow Motion Start to Finish Sew in by @TTDoesitall

LaToya Kelly shows a full sew-in installation in slow motion, walking through her four-braid anchor system, an upside-down oil application technique, and how to sew a net onto hair. She uses Brazilian deep-wave bundles that can be straightened or curled while keeping their natural wave.

Hey everyone, it's your girl TT Does It All, and this is the finished look of today's video. And this is going to be a very different type of video. This is filmed on my Snapchat. If you all aren't following me yet, check out this long slay on my Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter. I upload this stuff all day, every day. So it's TT Does It All, but for her, I am going to slow it down And it's 3 parts to this video. I'm gonna slow it down, I'm gonna speed it up, and then I'm gonna slow it back down for you. So you don't have to stop and fast forward until it's all over because I'm gonna play it multiple times in case you missed something. So these are my 4 anchor braids that I talk about. And I have a video up with this tutorial showing you how I do this, but this is more of a up close and picture around her head. So you can see everything that I'm doing. I connect those 2 anchor braids in the bottom of the back, and I connect those top 2 anchor braids at the top. And as you see, that one on the left is connecting back with the ones in the back. So I teach those in my other videos, but this one is just giving you a little bit of other information that I've been asked in the other videos. So you see, this client's hair is super, super long. She's been coming to me for years and years and years. She lives in Kansas City. She was coming to me in Kansas City, and now she comes to me in St. Louis. Yes, I'm located in St. Louis, Missouri. So if you're here, check me out. Visit my website for prices and appointments, TTdoesitall.com. But back to what you came here for. I am now using my Wild Girl hair oil that I have been using for like 10 years. I didn't start using it for any specific reason. I just knew it was hair oil, um, and my customers have just been giving me positive feedback. So I get a lot of questions about how do I feel about this versus some other oil, and I have no clue because this is the only oil I've ever used. And I'm an advocate of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. So I've got nothing but positivity from this, so I keep using it. This is also what I hear is some of you all's favorite video, favorite part of the video. And my clients always tell me this is their favorite— blah, why am I— why can't I say this? This is their favorite part of their sew-in. Also, I do not braid tight, ladies and gentlemen, okay? No, no, no, I don't hurt, and I am very cautious of everything I do and put on my clients' heads. Now, I started doing this in 2010 on this client— not on this client, but with my sew-ins. So I don't know what— why I did it back then, but if it was hurting, I would have stopped it. I used to use this other thing that was made from some chick on Instagram, but her customer service was so terrible. You had to wait like 4 months for the product, and I was buying so much at a time that I just quit. And I think that she's still even trying to sell it, but I can't do business like that. If it takes 4 months for me to get your product, I'm gonna get something else. That's— hey, no. So I am oiling between each braid. Another question I got was why do I go from the bottom to the top? For me personally, it is easier to control the flow coming out of this nozzle upside down because obviously if you have it right side up, you're gonna have to like squeeze it. And what if it's at like the very bottom of the container? Like It's just easier to control how much you squeeze out when it's upside down, and it's easier to pour out the bottle. So that is why I initially started doing it upside down, and it just became something that is now a habit. So, um, I have a question for you all. While you're watching this video, I need you to drop a comment and let me know have you— what have you learned from my videos, if anything at all? If this is your first video, welcome, welcome, thank you for joining us. And if this is not your first video, even if it's something you learned about recording or editing or the view, or even if it's— I mean, it could be anything, the clips I use, it couldn't even— it doesn't even have to be a technique. Just drop a comment and let me know one thing you learned from watching my video and one thing that you would like to learn if you haven't already. So— ouch. Oh, okay. So yeah, let me just drop that comment for me. I'm really, really, really, really wanting to know what you guys see, what you guys have gained that I may not have realized I taught you, and what you all may want to learn that I haven't taught already, or that you kind of want me to slow it down like this video because I can do that. All right, so as I continue to oil her scalp, the next step I'm going to sew on the net. And I have a video on how I sew on the net, but I'm going to record that in slow motion for you all because that is one thing that I keep getting in the comments, that some people cannot get their nets to lay flat. I do not ask my client to hold the net down while I'm sewing it on I don't like my clients to have to work at all. I like them to come and relax. This is therapy for some clients. This is their time away from everybody else in the family and their kids and their husbands and their jobs and their employees. It's— this is their release. So I want to be that. So I don't have clients hold, so I will put a slow motion video of how I sew on my nets. These are her 4 bundles. She has two 30 inches, a 28 inch, and a 26 inch. It is my Brazilian deep wave hair, only available at TTdoesitall.com. She is always asking me to straighten her hair. This is her third time using this set of hair, but she's used my Brazilian deep wave hair for years. Um, and someone did ask me, why do people use deep wave when they're just going to straighten it? It is because it looks like this after 3 wears. You know, that curl pattern comes back. So the fact that you can be curly and just have it in its natural state and not physically have to crimp it or style it, and you can just straighten it when you want to straighten it, and you can curl it when you want to curl it, and then it goes back to its natural curl pattern again— who doesn't want that? I love it, me personally, because let's just say you get rained on by accident, you didn't know it was gonna rain today, you got your hair, um, curled and all your curls didn't fail. With my hair, you're gonna have a wave pattern. With the other's hair, yeah, I don't know what you're gonna get. Sipstick. Okay, so this is showing how long it is. She does have these 30 inches of hair, and she also used this hair for a ponytail. She said, she said she was in Atlanta and she got one of those like really slick smooth down ponytails, and she used this hair for that too, on top of two other sew-ins. And now we're sewing it in again. So yeah, I think it looks beautiful. So again, this is just going to start it over in the regular speed that I did on my Snapchat. So you all drop a comment, let me know if you have not already thumbs up this video. Please drop a thumbs up for me. I really appreciate your support. With YouTube's new algorithm, if you do not thumbs up my videos, they will not pop up for you. So the more love you show, the more love YouTube will show me. And yeah, I want to get something clear. The more thumbs up and the more views and the more likes does not equal dollars for me. So please stop thinking that. If you guys want me to drop a comment and tell you how YouTube money works, I will, but that is definitely not how YouTube money works. They do not pay me per subscriber, per view, per minute on the video, you know what I'm saying? So yes, just drop a comment if you want me to explain more into that. But really, thumbs up this video so that YouTube sees that this is an informative video, that this is something that they should share with more people on their newsfeed. And if I popped up on your newsfeed and you clicked on my video today, Thank you, thank you for showing support to your girl. But I am over and out. I'm gonna let y'all enjoy this, take notes, replay it, learn something, and relay it in the comments. Okay, all right, enjoy. And wait, I missed something.
