Start to Finish Full Sew in by @TTDoesitAll

LaToya Kelly installs a full sew-in with Brazilian deep wave hair and a 14-inch lace closure, no leave-out. Her braid pattern takes 45 minutes, and she uses three single bundles with a closure one inch longer than the shortest for future layering. The hair can be colored, straightened, curled, and returns to its natural wave when wet.

Hey everyone, it's your girl TT Does It All, and this is a start to finish on a full sew-in with no leave-out. Yes, that is not her hair, that is a lace closure. All right, so let's get started. I am using my Brazilian deep wave hair for this sew-in, and, um, first what I'm going to do is part out her first braids, and I use my baby hair cream on the edges just to make those sides slick down really nice and smooth. And then I add braiding hair into only my anchor braids, which are the two outer braids. I have videos on how to do this sew-in, how to sew on the closure, how to sew on the net, the braid pattern. I mean, literally every single step on this, I have all the steps for it. Okay, so I'm starting on that next braid, and I am greasing between each braid also. So even though I use that baby hair cream, I also grease behind it, and I also put in my Wild Grow hair oil, which is not mine, um, it is something I purchased either from a local beauty supply store or in on Amazon like everybody else because I love Amazon. All right, so what else can I talk about? Okay, so let's talk about this hair. If you all have not, um, are not familiar with me, I've been doing hair since I was in middle school. I started out doing micro braids and then throughout college it started to sew-ins started to pick up, so I started to do sew-ins, invisible parts, stuff like that. And then eventually I stopped doing braids all completely. So right now, um, I started selling this hair in 2012. A customer came with it in her hair, and I saw it and liked it, and I Googled the wrap on it, and I found the distributor. And I've been purchasing hair from this distributor um, overseas since 2012. Same hair. So this is her braid pattern. Sorry, I gotta go in and out, but this is a braid pattern, nice and simple and quick. It takes me about 45 minutes to braid it, and then I put her oil between, sew in her net, and then sew on her bundles. I use a net so that I could sew anywhere. It's not for anything other than for me to be able to stay stitch anywhere I want to.
Okay, so back to me and my hair. I've been selling hair since 2012 from the same distributor, and, um, it was locally known in Kansas City, Missouri, but now since I moved to St. Louis, Missouri, it has gotten even bigger and expanded. Plus my YouTube subscribers have also— you all have been a lot of support, and I appreciate you all throughout these years.
This is a 14-inch lace closure. Her shortest bundle is 12 inches, but I like to use a longer, um, closure just in case we want to cut and do some layers so that she still has some length in it. So I do like to use like one length longer than her shortest bundle. So again, I do have a video showing how I sew in the closure and the bundles, how I fold over the wefts. I'm using 3 bundles for hers, and I am doing them single. Some people get their hair styled, um, she wanted to leave hers in its natural state, so I am sewing it in one by one. Now, if you all have watched some of my older videos, sometimes if I have a customer doing 3 bundles Sometimes, depending on the size of their head, I will use the first bundle, which is the longest length, doubled. So I will double the weft, sew it in double, and then single the last two. But in this— for this video, I'm just going to go single the entire sew-in. And, um, again, this hair can be colored, it can be straightened, it can be curled, and, um, it will revert back to its natural straight if it's wet. So this is just showing you on your left, it's kind of just showing you different styles and color that I've done throughout the years. Some of these are 5 years old, some of these are 1 year old. So like, I've been using this hair— like, this one was done this year, this was done like 5 years ago. So this just shows you versatility of this hair. And again, you can do everything that— there's a leave-out right there in the last picture, and that's a leave-out also. And then as you see, my customer today in this video is using a closure. So you can blend it with your hair, or you can use a leave-out. Either way, this is a closure. I actually colored this on myself, and this is a leave-out. So It's very versatile hair. You can wear it with different nationalities. I've sewn this into Caucasian clients' hair as well, and it's been just as pretty. All right, so I am on my second bundle now, and I'm gonna kind of let the video play because, um, I know you all love my talk-throughs, but I have given you all so much information I don't have anything else to give. No, I'm joking. Clearly I could talk all day and all night about everything you see in this video, but I'm gonna let you all watch a little bit more and drop a comment and let me know if you all have questions about anything you're seeing with this video, about the texture of the hair, about the hair, you know, whatever you have questions about. But I do have one more thing to add. One of my most popular videos is the sew-in on a client with thin hair, and this is the exact same hair and texture that I used for that video. So if you all love that video and loved her hair and her turnout, you guys would love this hair also. But yeah, it is deep wave. I know it looks a lot curlier, but if you look back on those pictures that I was uploading, you'll see the version of it in red where that's what it looks like after it's been worn, colored styled, straightened, and then wet, and it goes back to the deep wave versus how curly it is in the bundles. Okay, all right, you guys, so I have pretty much exhausted everything that I have to say for this particular video. Um, so I'm sure I'll see you guys in the next video. Let me know what you guys thought. Which picture was your favorite color? Was it like the red and orange? Was it red? Was it the blue? Was it purple? Was it the purple, blue, and green? I've done so many things with this hair, but go ahead and drop a comment. Let me know what you guys think, and I'll see y'all in the next video.
Ah! 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, drink. 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, drink. 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, drink.
