LaToya Kelly shows how to cut lace closures for a natural hairline. Instead of a straight line, she cuts an irregular, squiggly pattern at varying depths to hide the lace edge. She finishes by flipping the closure and applying foundation to make it undetectable.

So you see how this is not a straight line, it's kind of squiggly. It's no particular way to do it. You can cut into the hairs a little bit on one part, a little bit ahead on another part. You just don't want— when somebody look at their head, you don't want them to see like, boom, I know where the lace is cut. You want it to kind of not be clear to the naked eye where or if there's lace. And you can see right here, I kind of went in the hair a little bit, and that's because most people look ahead of the hairline to see. So if you see a little piece of lace right here, you still ain't gonna keep seeing it, but you ain't gonna see it nowhere. So this is how it looks. No specific wave pattern, just cut. Then I'm going to flip it over and I'm going to put my foundation on it.
