Thin Hair Sew in (with a leave Out)

LaToya Kelly installs a natural-part leave-out sew-in on a client with thin hair who couldn't get a frontal before a Beyoncé concert. She shows how to braid the pattern, blend the hair, and style it into a high ponytail while leaving the perimeter out for an updo.

Hey everyone, we're going to jump right in on this video to showing how I do this natural part leave out high ponytail sew-in. I've shown videos on how I braid for my versatile sew-in and for my natural part leave out sew-in, for my deep side part sew-in and everything. So this sew-in is a combination of the natural part leave out sew-in and the versatile sew-in. So that is how I determined the braid pattern for this and how much to leave out, which again is explained in those two videos of how to do the braid pattern. I also have a video on how I sew underneath the braid and the specifics on that, so make sure you check that out in the description below as well. But I'm just going to show you all from start to finish me installing the hair and then me also styling it, blending her hair in with it, and then I have an additional video which will be showing a little bit of tips and tricks on how I made her thin hair look like it was not so thin. So this particular client wanted a frontal. She came wanting to buy a frontal for me, I think, or maybe— yeah, I think she wanted to buy a frontal from me, and I was just coming back from Kansas City. I did not have a frontal for her, and then there was kind of some misunderstanding in our tech and our communication. So, um, she was getting ready for the Beyoncé concert in St. Louis, and I definitely still wanted to get her in, but we just couldn't do the frontal. So she didn't want to leave any hair out, but we did have to go with doing a natural part leave-out because again, I did not have any extra hair to install for her. So we did do the natural part leave-out and left the perimeter out because she wanted to be able to wear it up if she had to leave hair out. So I have a video on how to blend hair. Her hair is thin, so I have a video on how I did that. But let me know what you guys, what you guys think about the overall look. Let me know if you like it. This was the client's own hair, but thank you guys for watching, and don't forget to thumbs up this video. If you enjoyed this video, please subscribe.
