When you get that client that flies in from out of state, it just makes you feel like a million bucks. They take that scarf off and you get to comb it through that hair. And your hair, what is— it's matted? No, I washed it last— let me see your hair. Oh, okay, you don't have to do it, but it's there. Is there more? What? So what? Okay, I, I call myself combing it and washing it out. I spent all day doing it and it's really flaky. What's— why is it— is the scalp flaky? Look at the chair behind you. I know you see it. I said, you know what, let me just take these plaits down and then I'm just gonna comb through her hair really good, wash it, and see where we are from there.
