LaToya Kelly uses gray and blonde K-tip extensions to match a client with mixed gray and blonde hair. She trims the tips precisely and places them so close to the scalp they disappear, letting the client wear high ponytails without showing the extensions.

I purchased gray K-tips to add in where my clients had grays coming in, and I purchased blonde for people to have some highlights of blonde coming in. I did not expect to meet someone who had both of these colors and textures in one. So how unique was it that I was able to color match her hair perfectly and it looked like it was coming right out of her scalp? The texture was perfect, the color was perfect., and I was able to trim and style it. And she's able to wear her hair up in a high ponytail, she's able to wear it half up half down. This is the invisible method, so she doesn't have to worry about any of her tips showing. She does have fine hair at the top and in the center, so I made sure those K-tips were super fine.
