In this informal YouTube video, Speaker A excitedly unboxes a paperback copy of Mel Robbins' The Let Them Theory after reading the Kindle version, and shares why the book resonated with them. They highlight the book’s core premise—a two‑word mindset shift that offers quick, repeatable peace for neurodivergent brains—and discuss several chapter titles that speak to personal challenges such as unfairness, difficult decisions, adult tantrums, loving difficult people, and setting boundaries. Speaker A reflects on their own inner‑child work, exhaustion from living in survival mode, and the freedom that comes from letting go of control over others’ opinions. Speaker B adds brief reactions and reinforces the theme of reclaiming personal power. The video ends with a call‑to‑action directing viewers to a link for purchasing the book.

How exciting is it when the postman comes with parcels? And the company return address on one of them was Bookmanal, so I knew it was what I'd been waiting for. But I'm very excited.
I haven't opened it yet.
I think this is what I've been waiting for. However, I do tend to forget what I've ordered, so it could be a surprise.
Yay!
It's the book I've been waiting for, The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, because I started reading the Kindle version of this and then just decided I absolutely had to have a paperback copy. I'm not actually a huge fan of hardbacks, but I couldn't wait for the paperback version, so I was like, yes, let's go for it! I started reading this on Kindle As I mentioned, and it's really stuck in my head. I've been thinking about it all week. I can't remember exactly how long it's been since I ordered it, but it feels like forever. It feels like I've been waiting forever. I just love the way that Mel explains the theory. It just makes so much sense, and it is something that I have known previously But like all good wisdom, it's something that I have forgotten to apply in my life. And the way that Mel explains it— 2 simple words that will change how you think about your entire life. And it's true. I've been thinking about these 2 words a lot since I first decided to read the Kindle book, and it just makes it so much easier To find peace just by reminding ourselves of 2 simple words. It's not like a big, long, drawn-out, complicated process. I'm not good at remembering things and doing long, drawn-out things. I have to have quick, easy things for my neurodivergent brain to remember so that I can keep repeating them. Simple and easy to repeat, that's what works best for me. And obviously, She's realised it works best for a lot of people because she started this movement before she wrote the book. The book is the research of why it's actually so beneficial, and she uses a lot of examples and personal stories, which I really enjoy personal stories because it makes me feel like I'm not the only crazy one going through all this, which, you know, is a human thing. We don't want to feel like we're the only one that's acting crazy. And I'm just looking at the chapter titles. Yes, Life Isn't Fair, sounds interesting. The Right Decision Often Feels Wrong. Oh yes, this one, this is definitely for me. When Grown-Ups Throw Tantrums. I, I do actually admit that I do have tantrums, and I've been working on my inner child, so there you go, I admit it. Let's have a look. How to love difficult people. Yes, family members. Say no more because you never know if they might watch.
I doubt it.
You have zero control over someone else's opinion. Yes, I learned that the hard way.
It's so, it's so freeing when you let it go. Own your reactions and take your power back. That's something that I'm definitely What I want to work on. The real reason you're exhausted all the time. It's true. Living in survival mode, fight or flight. Now this sounds interesting, how to provide support the right way. This is something I've had to learn about boundaries, how to help people without draining myself and my own energy. How every ending is a beautiful beginning. Oh, that sounds interesting. I am so looking forward to reading this. Sometimes I only get halfway through a book and then I kind of get distracted and read something else, but other books grip me and keep me almost to the end, which I am always super proud of myself when I finish a book and it hasn't taken me that long. So I will let you know how you get— I'll get on with this. If you want a copy, check out my link below.
