Chapters
I love Dr. Judy Smith's videos on YouTube, and I also love her first book, Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? Because it just explains concepts and principles of emotional health that we all need to learn, but she explains it in a way that's easy to understand and accessible. I like the font in the book. I'm very fussy about fonts, you know. Easy-to-read chapters, very short and to the point, and then she has chapter summaries so I can just dip in and out as I feel necessary. Things like how to harness the power of your words. As a teacher, I know how powerful that is. What to do with emotions, things that we're not taught at a young age. Accepting all of you. To be honest, I wish I had this book 20 years ago. So when she said she was releasing a second book, I was excited. I don't very often pre-order books. I like to, you know, save a little bit of money, wait for it to come out on secondhand, see if I like it, maybe order a sample on Kindle first, check out if I'm going to be interested in it. But if it's somebody that I know that I really enjoy reading, I will pre-order. So my Amazon parcel Came. This is her new book. Very excited. Haven't checked it out yet. I'm sure it's going to be awesome. It's called Open When. The fancy gold writing. Let's see what it's like. Do we like the font? Good. She's kept the same formatting as her first book, and it's got a lovely gold bookmark. I absolutely love bookmarks. That is fantastic. And yep, small, easy-to-read little paragraphs for my neurodivergent brain when I've only got a couple of minutes, so I can't concentrate very much. These are bite-sized things to read. They have practical little try-this experiments. I'm looking forward to this. So like and follow to find out more.
