Easter just happened. Your church was packed, new faces, new energy. And first off, let me just say congratulations. I know it was months upon months of preparation, but here's the reality: most of those people aren't coming back. Not because your church isn't good, not because your message wasn't powerful, because nothing happens next. And that's the problem. In this video, I'm going to show you 3 tips to do within the next 48 to 78 hours to turn your Easter momentum into real movement and not lose the people that you just reached, because we all know it's not how you start, but how you finish. This right here is the post-Easter blueprint. Yes, I said it. You only have 48 to 72 hours, and this isn't just a feeling. There's actual data behind this. If you follow up within the first 48 hours, most people are about 75% more likely to come back. Yes, 75%. If you wait around 72 hours, it drops to around 60%, which is still really great. And if you wait a full week, it lowers all the way down to only 15% chance of them returning. Now think about that, only 15%. So here are 3 things you can do to stay within that 75th percentile, starting with number 1. Number 1, I said it in the intro, but you need to reach out within the first 24 hours. This video comes out on Monday, so let's get the ball rolling, people. Number 1, you need to reach out within the first 24 hours. We're talking SMS, email, but preferably do both. But here's the thing, make sure that it doesn't feel like ChatGPT wrote it for you. Something like, dear guest, thank you for attending. What I want you to do is spend a couple minutes thinking and crafting a message that sounds a little bit more personal and a little bit more like the tone of your church. There might be something more cultural to your region, a saying that you like to use, or an inside joke. Whatever it is, make sure that you're making these texts, these emails, a little bit more personal, preferably using the person's name if you have that data. Make sure that it's simple and clean, it sounds like a real human, and it's direct. But more importantly, make sure that they have a clear next step— not 5, Not an entire book, not a list, but just one next step you would want them to do on their journey. Here's 3 simple ones. Come back next Sunday, join this life group, or watch this message. That's it. Because clarity builds connection and confusion kills it. I know that a lot of people on your team are probably taking the day off, but I really believe if you get an SMS out there Or an email within the first 24 to 48 hours. It's gonna pay off a ton. I'm pretty sure whoever's helping you execute that wouldn't mind, you know, investing an extra 30 minutes to an hour just to make sure that all these first-time guests are reached. Think about it. You spent months getting them through the door, a lot of fasting and prayer just to get them to the altar, and you want to make sure they connect. Correctly. You wanna make sure that they're getting reached out to. You wanna make sure that they feel the life and the love of your church. Point number 2, the content this week matters more than just your Easter recap. Most churches just post a highlight video, big crowds, lights, music. That's great, but that might not necessarily be the reason people come back. People don't come back simply on production. They come back because of people. They come back because of people and connection. So this week, make sure your content answers this one question: where do I fit in? Show your community, show your ministries, show real moments. The cool thing is it doesn't have to be perfect, it doesn't have to be polished, but it does need to be real. It needs to show the heart and culture of your church and how that person can fit in. Because this Easter, it created attention, but I know them finding their true identity and belonging will create church retention. Point number 3, personal follow-up. This right here is where most churches drop the ball because it takes a ton of effort, but I believe it's the one that matters most. A quick call, A quick DM, a quick voice note from a real person. Any communication from a real person definitely makes the difference. Something as simple as, hey, I just wanted to personally thank you for coming out. No pressure, just glad you're here. I suggest it being the life group leaders personally inviting them to a small group, a life group where they're able to connect and take the next step. Because in today's society, People aren't just looking for the big church, they're looking for personal connection. And that personal text, call, email, that one moment can change everything. The goal is in their mind for them to not think, hey, it was just a nice service, to turning it into, I found my home church. The SMS and email systems can start the relationship, but people are what deepen it. Let me say it like this. Easter is not just your biggest attendance day, it's your biggest opportunity window. The goal isn't just to fill the seats, but create a system where we could turn visitors into true disciples. That's how you go from having just a great service to having a real movement. Depending on the size of your church, those tips could be daunting. You might not have the team or the resources, but I hope that you try at least one, if not all 3, because we know that That the goal isn't just filling up the seats, but it's turning people, turning visitors into true disciples of Jesus. And I hope that you try all of these tips. Well, if you're a pastor, a leader, a business owner looking to turn your message into a movement, that's exactly what I do. My name is Javier Torres.
