Hey everybody, what's up? On this video we will find out how to rank your ecommerce store. Hey guys, what's up? Hernan Vasquez here, and as you can see, I'm trying to change the different angles of the camera. I recorded over there, I'm recording over here right now. It's basically so as not to bore you guys because it's super boring already to hear me out rambling about PPC and social media. Okay, or SEO who wants to hear that shit? Like really, okay. You're watching this. You're crazy, and you guys are actually liking this. Where are the tits? Where are the explosion? The fast cars? Okay, the machine guns. Where are they? I have none. I could try and get a machine gun. Okay, they're not legal in my country, but whatever. Anyways, thank you for watching, and thank you for the support, the comments, everything that you have been giving me over the past couple of weeks. It's been a blast for me. Just keep them coming. I'll keep delivering. And this is one of you guys' questions that you guys wanted me to make an SEO for ecommerce video, which is pretty damn cool. Okay, so thank you for that. Thank you for that topic, which is pretty damn cool. Now, SEO for ecommerce, it's kind of different than SEO for a regular blog because usually what happens, there are a bunch of pros and cons of having an ecommerce. The pros, are that most of the e-commerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, you know, you name it, yeah, PrestaShop, you name it, they are pretty SEO optimized in and of themselves. All right, meaning that you will have categories and the products will be in, uh, inside those categories. Okay, so that's kind of a silo structure which is already out of the box. Out of the box, you do not need to— you just need to set up your categories and then choose the products and put them inside of the categories. Now, the cons of that is that usually the products, they, they are not content-heavy, all right? And the problem with not being content-heavy is that you do not have much content on the website so as to Google to actually like your page, all right? So how do you solve the content problem? Well, it's pretty damn easy if you ask me. If you have an e-commerce site, I will install a WordPress blog on a subdomain. So what you would do, unless you're using WordPress with a WooCommerce plugin, what I would do is to have something like blog.yourstore.com. That way you can start generating content the way I talked to you a little bit, you know, just a couple of minutes ago when I recorded the, the other video. And I'm gonna leave a link on how to create high-quality content as well. And What's good about that is that you can actually send links from the blog post to the products that you want to rank, okay? And if you're using IFTTT around the blog, that's even better. So step number 1, install a blog on a subdomain. If you already use WordPress, use the WordPress blog that's inside of it and start generating content. Step number 2 is to actually leverage on the schema markup. Schema markup for e-commerce is super powerful because you can add ratings, you can add pricing, you can add orders, you can add comments, you can add a bunch of things. And again, most of the CMSs that work with e-commerce, they have that integrated. All right, so try to leverage on schema markup or JSON-LD for your products. It's a really, really good idea for e-commerce optimization. And number 3, which is kind of out of the SEO realm but it directly impacts SEO, start using PPC for retargeting, for abandoned carts, for, you know, purchases that do not go through, for people that have purchased and they didn't come back. Start using PPC retargeting because interaction, my friends, right now is one of the best, most important SEO factors that you can possibly imagine. So if you have people circling over and over and going out and going in, in your website and circling and coming back and completing the purchases, etc., you will have a ton more SEO impact. Okay, so those will be my main 3 points right now as an overview perspective. I'll try to make another ecommerce video as well, going deep into how to optimize your articles, how to do actual schema for products. But just have in mind that number one, having a blog on a subdomain, number two, leverage on schema, and number three, using PPC to get people back into the loop will help your ecommerce store a ton. And at the end of the day, you do not want more rankings, you want to sell more, right? And if you're selling more, you're happy and I'm happy and everyone is happy and we can sing Kumbaya and whatnot. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you on the next video. Video. Bye-bye!
