In this video Hernan Vazquez explains why treating SEO and PPC as separate, competing traffic sources limits growth and shows how to integrate them into a single, high‑converting funnel. He starts by describing the common mindset: SEOs rely on “free” organic traffic while PPC advertisers focus on paid scalability, leading to a quarrel between the two disciplines. He argues that the real advantage comes from correlating the two—thinking about the entire customer journey and using each channel to reinforce the other. He outlines a practical roadmap: (1) start with SEO basics (content optimization, link building) using his provided guides; (2) secure funding for PPC either by earning a salary or offering SEO services to clients; (3) launch a retargeting campaign—preferably on Facebook, but also possible on Google Ads—targeting visitors who bounce from organic pages; (4) pair the retargeting ads with a lead‑magnet (opt‑in page, ebook, etc.) to capture email addresses; (5) nurture those leads through an email funnel or direct product offers. He emphasizes that retargeting audiences are unique to your site, which drives down bids, and that the combined approach turns a website into a self‑sustaining business rather than a single‑source traffic machine. Throughout he invites viewers to join his free Facebook group for deeper discussion, provides links to SEO guides, and encourages engagement via comments and subscriptions.

So in case I don't, just know that I'm kind of swamped right now, but it doesn't— you know, I read them all and I do try to answer them all, okay? So that's my promise. I'll try to answer them all. As quick as possible. Now, if you want to mastermind a little bit with me, I have a free Facebook group that you can join. I'm gonna leave a link on the description below. You can come join, it's completely free, and there you can find, you know, PPC conversions, SEO tips, you know, basically everything that has made me money at some point in time. Okay, I want to share them with you. Now, on this opportunity, I just wanted to tell you how I'm combining PPC, pay-per-click, and with SEO to have a ton of traffic conversions and making a ton of money. You know, the problem is that I come from an SEO background and I've been doing PPC. I'm an AdWords certified partner or whatever you want to call it. And the problem with those 2 sources of traffic is that sometimes SEOs or SEOers or SEO professionals will rely solely on that source of traffic. Because it's free, it's, you know, quote-unquote easy to achieve depending on the market, but it's mostly free, okay? And I don't believe in free traffic because you are either paying with your money or you're paying with your time. Now, people doing PPC, they won't even approach SEO because being cumbersome or because of being non-scalable. So that's the problem that those two have, okay? Usually it's like a quarrel. I see like a big, big quarrel between the two. Now the truth is that instead of them being fighting together because, hey, I do PPC, I can scale, hey, I do SEO, I don't pay a dime for my traffic and I do it long term, instead of them being fighting each other, they can be correlated. And the moment you realize and you correlate the two, you will have a leg up on your competition. You will be millions of years ahead of your competition. Further, when you're doing PPC thinking about SEO, and when you're doing SEO thinking about PPC, you will be thinking about the entire funnel, and your website will become a business in itself. That's how authorities go by. That's how big websites go by. They do not rely on one traffic source or the other. It's not an either-or mentality, it's a one-and-everything mentality. All right guys, so how do you actually combine the 2? Well, let's say that you are trying to kickstart your business or your website with SEO, which is a great move. I'm gonna leave a couple of links on the description below so that you can know exactly where to start, how to optimize your content for SEO, how to start doing your first links, etc. You know, I've been talking extensively about SEO, and if you have SEO questions as well, you can come and ask them on the Hamday Hangouts, which are semanticmastery.com/hamday. That's going to be a link on the description below as well. Now let's say that you're starting out and you want to start doing some SEO, which is completely fine. Use the guides below to guide you on the track. Now how do you add PPC to the mix? First off, if you do not have money to invest in PPC, I would suggest that you make some money. That could be getting a job, okay, basically plain and simple. That's the easiest way of getting money initially. If you are somewhat skillful with SEO, you can start getting your own clients, which is the second best way of getting money for to invest in PPC. Now in my experience, the best way to implement PPC is by doing retargeting, because with SEO you will get a flood of organic traffic that are, you know, actually interested in what you have to say, but most of that traffic will actually bounce off your content, will actually bounce off the pages. You know, it doesn't matter how great your content is, they will just bounce off, okay? They will just bounce off, and if you do not if you do not have any way of keeping the communication going, you will be leaving a ton of money on the table. So what I usually do is to set up a remarketing campaign with a lead magnet. That's where PPC comes into play. You can do it on Facebook, which is my preferred method, or you could do it on AdWords as well. I'm gonna leave links below from how to do, you know, how to lower your Facebook PPC ads, etc. Now that way you're combining the 2 forces, okay? You're doing SEO You're doing SEO, you're climbing up on Google, you're getting organic traffic, and most of the organic traffic, you will know that they will bounce out. So what you're trying to do is to capture them back with retargeting, with PPC. Super simple to set up a retargeting campaign, and it's also pretty cheap because the configuration of the audience that you're aiming your Facebook ads to it's unique to your website, right guys? So I hope that makes sense. If it doesn't, just leave me a comment below and I'll try to explain it better. But the main point here is that your main configuration of the audience, you know, the exact amount of people or the exact number of people that are on that audience are exclusive to your website. That brings the bids down. So without trying to become too technical here, Just do retargeting whenever you have the chance, okay guys? So that's how you combine SEO, you know, you're writing your articles to have a ton of interaction, to have a ton of backlinks, to have a ton of virality, okay, to have a ton of comments, and you're trying to rank them on Google with the links that I provide or the guides that I provide in the comments below. Once that on page, let's say page 2 or bottom page 1, you're starting getting some traffic and then it starts to— it's time to kickstart your retargeting campaign. That retargeting campaign could lead to a lead magnet, okay, to an opt-in page, to whatever you're trying to achieve, to capture their email and then sell them via email. Or, you know, even if you're trying to sell a product directly, you can do a retargeting campaign as well. So that, my friend, will make you Traffic ninja, all right? And people will not even know what hit them. Maybe it's a shuriken, you know, the shuriken, the ninja star, whatever you call it. Or it's a katana, all right? So you will have a katana of SEO. That's pretty cool. Maybe I'll, I'll register katanaofseo.com. Thank you guys for watching, and if you have any comments, let me know if these are videos that you want to keep on watching. Drop me a comment below, and you know, if you wanna come and join the Facebook group, you're invited. It's completely free, and I'm pretty active over there as well. Thank you guys for watching once again, and I'll see you on the next episode. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
