Hernan Vazquez shows how to cut unprofitable offers and focus on what actually sells. Drop the middle tier, keep what generates revenue, and test new offers with a Google Doc or email list. Review your past two years of payments to find what worked, then repeat it.

actually work less in your business and increase your profits, increase your profitability just by doing a couple of things, which I found to be pretty effective and they tend to work really, really well. And that's exactly what I want to focus on, on today's piece of content. So I hope that everyone is doing really well. I've been traveling for the past couple of weeks, so that's why I'd be kind of off, but now we're back on track. We're back on the saddle. I'm back at the office. And funny enough, I had a conversation with a good friend of mine, actually, an hour ago. And he, you know, he's a good friend of mine. He's also been my mentor and coach for quite a while. And we've been talking a little bit about— because he's really good when it comes to mindset, and productivity and all of that good stuff, especially when it comes to mindset. He really helped me overcome some mindset issues that I had. Number one, but also number two, you know we do kind of a little bit of an exchange. He he talks to me about mindset, whatnot, and then I talk to him about marketing and how to you know increase revenue and profitability. And and he was telling me that he has this offer, right? It's a group coaching offer that he has, and people have been taking it. People have been taking it happily. You know he doesn't need to push it a lot, and people have been giving him money to. Jump on his coaching program. And then he was trying to— and then he also has a one-on-one coaching offer, which is also doing well because people are giving him money to do, you know, that one-on-one coaching with him, mindset coaching when it comes to entrepreneurs and all of that. So that was pretty cool to see, but he was kind of struggling with a middle offer, right? Like kind of in between or in the middle offer when somebody Stop or finish the the group coaching program, and then he didn't. They didn't upgrade to his one-on-one coaching, and he was like, "Well, I'm trying to do this continuity thing because when I talk to people, they tend to tell me that I need to have continuity, you know, recurring income and whatnot." And I'm like, "Okay, so what's going on there?" Well, you know, nobody's taking this middle, this mid-tier offer. I'm like. You should stop pushing it altogether. You should stop doing it, right? Focus on the front-end offer in terms of getting people to your coaching program and then focus on the back-end, which would be your one-on-one. You don't want to take anyone to your, you know, or everyone, should I say, to the one-on-one. You should only want to take people that quote unquote sprout or flourish after the first coaching offer. So, and this, you know, this happens really frequently when it comes to entrepreneurs as well. We tend to develop a lot of offers and we want to offer a lot of stuff. But the reality is that the marketplace will tell you what they want to buy from you. A good example for that, or of that should I say, are e-com stores. E-com stores that are coming to us at the agency, or they might be going through, you know, the class that I put in the link below, scaledriven.com/100— sorry, scaledriven.com/class. If you go there, you can register for a quick class that I just put together. But a lot of e-com stores, they come to me and they come to us and they say, They say, well, you know, I have all of these products, but I only have 1 or 2 that are really selling through advertising. And that's basically the name of the game. 20% of your sales will come— sorry, 20% of your products will generate 80% of your sales. 20% of your programs will generate 80% of your revenue. 20% of your offers will generate 80% of your revenue. And you can even take this further. You can even say 5% of your offers will generate 95% of your revenue, 5% of your of your products will generate 95% of your income. 5% of your customers and clients will give you 95% of your revenue and your profits and the money that you're taking home. So something that I learned is you can throw out offers out there and then the marketplace will tell you what they want to buy, right? I've been also reading this great book, 100 Million Offers by Alex Hormozi, and he's been doing an amazing job breaking down the elements of a really a good offer, a really, really good offer. So I really recommend that book. It's a short book, but it's really, really powerful. And I've been having insights, you know, I've been doing this for, I don't know, 12 years now, and I've been having insights left and right with that book. So I really recommend it. So the point is that you want to come up with offers and you want to test them. You want to field test them in the marketplace. And you can do this through email. That's why having a list is always handy or building a list so that you can actually present offers to these guys and to these people, but also you can test them through advertising. You can put together a quick funnel and you don't even need a landing page. You can just send people to a Google Doc, which is what I did when I was testing offers. And then you test the offer and then you build the offer after you've tested it, right? And the best way to test an offer is to see if people are giving you money or not. That's the best way to do it, right? If people are giving you money, that's a proven offer. Now there will be some winners and again, there will be some losers. And We tend to try to rework offers and we tend to try to, as entrepreneurs, make things work. And the reality is that sometimes, we just need to let our egos aside and say, okay, well, this might not be a good offer after all. So, as I did with my friend, just don't offer it anymore. You want to go back over the past, I would say, 1 or 2 years and ask yourself, okay, what really worked? Right? What was offer? What was the offers or what we were doing at this time? And you can actually pop, you know, pop open your bank statement or your PayPal account or your Stripe account and then go back, which is something that we do for clients is we go back 2 years and then we say, okay, why did you have a peak in revenue here? What happened here? What were you doing at that point that was actually bringing in the revenue? And generally what we would do is to do it again. Okay, another example. I was talking to another good friend of mine. She was an agent's client and she's doing her own thing now. And her name is Kate and she's awesome. She's a great entrepreneur and whatnot. And she was also launching this new coaching program. And we started talking and then one of the things that we figured out is that most of her sales will come whenever she did a webinar. But even if she did a live webinar, most of the sales will come, right? And she was like, well, What do I do? How do I take this to the next level? And my answer was, do the webinar again. And she was like, well, but we really hammered it over the past week. And I'm like, yeah, but most people will not open your emails. Most people will not click on your emails. Most people— if you have a really good open rate, might be a 30% open rate or a 10% click rate on your emails and whatnot, that means that 70% of the people that are receiving those emails, they're not opening. that means that they're not reading them either. So just do the webinar again. So in order for you to do less and make more profit, you want to go back, figure out what's working right now, what has worked for you in the past. I recommend anywhere between 1 to 2 years. So go back, check your statements, check your Stripe account, check your PayPal account, whatever it is that you're doing to collect money, and then see what worked for you over those 2 years and do more of that instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. And then when an offer is not working, Just let it go. Focus on coming up with additional offers that people will want to buy. And again, I do recommend 100 Million Offers by Alex Hormozi. It's great. It's really, really good. And it breaks down the elements of a really, really good offer if that's something that you want to do. Now, if you're into Facebook ads at all, if you want to learn how to actually do less and increase profits through advertising, I recommend that you go to hernanvasquez— sorry, scaledriven.com/class. scaledriven.com/class. Now, a couple of disclaimers on that class. It's a quick 25-minute video. Now, I won't try to pitch you a $997 course at the end. I won't show you any Lambos or Lamborghinis because I don't have any Lamborghinis, so that's something there. So if you're expecting flashy stuff, you're not going to find it in that presentation, but it's really, really good value. And also, if you want to just get millionaire overnight. That's not what I preach on that video as well. So if you're looking for an easy way out, do not go to that link. If you're looking for Lamborghinis or flashy stuff or, I don't know, private jets and all that stuff, don't go to that link because there's nothing there. If you're looking to get pitched a $997 course at the end, don't go to that link because there's not a pitch for a $997 course at the end. So with those disclaimers done, I hope that you enjoy the presentation. scale-driven.com/class. It's free.
