And we also have a free Facebook group that you can come, you can subscribe, and we can have a lot of fun over there. So today I wanted to address a really, really interesting question that I had, and it has to do with mentorship. How do you get a mentor? How do you get mentored by pretty much anyone in the world? And that's exactly what I want to touch base on today. So let's dive right into it. You know, when it comes to mentoring, having a mentor is one of the most important things that you can search for when you're an entrepreneur, when you're trying to make money online, when you're trying to develop your business. Because a mentor, he or she would have a ton of experience, and pretty much they can be a literal shortcut for you to develop your own business. Because you will look for a mentor that's already in the place that you want to go for, and that's already in the place that you want to be. So with that being said, there's a couple of suggestions that I can give you guys in order to approach a mentor and to actually have someone to mentor you. Okay, so basically it's a 4-step system. Have in mind, guys, that number one, mentors, they are not— I mean, successful entrepreneurs, they are not assholes. They are just completely, utterly busy. If you're looking for a super successful entrepreneur to help you out in your journey, they are pretty busy. Okay, they are not on Facebook. They are not on Skype, they are not on Slack, they are not checking their Twitter. Usually they are really busy developing their businesses. You have to understand that successful entrepreneurs are, in my opinion, one of the most generous people out there, and they will be really, really glad to help you out. But you need to have that in mind— the time constraints that these people have are enormous. So that's for once. And on the other hand, you need to be really, really specific with your requests. Okay, so having that in mind, let's jump into the 4 steps of this system. Step number 1 is to have a value proposition in place. I see many, many, many people come with a take-take-take mentality. That means that they want a mentor to coach them, they want a mentor to do the work, they want a mentor to show them the way, but they are not willing to give away something of value. When you're approaching a mentor, you need to have in mind that you need to give away as much value as the mentor will be giving to you, okay? So have a value proposition in place. Have something to help that people out, to help that mentor out from the point that you are, that you're at right now. And most of the cases, you have more resources than you actually think you have, okay? So dig into your resources and have a value proposition in the first place. Second of all, you need to have some kind of track record. I mean, there's a ton of people that are asking me or sending me messages about how do I start a business online, okay, from complete, complete scratch. Now, to be honest, the best teaching or the best school out there is your experience. So once you have a track record, once you start developing your own business, you will notice a ton of things that will make mentorship so much easier and so much valuable for you. So before actually asking for help, go out there and do things, okay? Have a track record in place, something that you can show your potential mentor, because that will put you in the position that you're an action taker, that you will actually take action on the mentor's suggestion, okay? So that's step 2. Step 2 is have a track record in place. Step 3 is be as specific as possible. Many people contact me or leave me comments or ask me on Snapchat stuff like, how can I make money online? Or how can I make $1 million in a week? That's not specific. You need to be really, really specific and hone down your questions. By specific question, I mean, how can I turn my subscribers into customers? How can I add more value to my customers? How can I hire a great assistant? Those kind of questions will actually make the mentorship much, much more valuable. Okay, so try to not approach something like, hey, how can I make a ton of money in 15 minutes? Or something like that. That doesn't work. Try to be super specific with your request. That will add more value to you and to the mentor itself. And number 4, guys, as I mentioned before, have patience because it can even be the gatekeepers, okay? The assistants of the mentor, the assistants of the famous people that you want to reach out. These people, they are really busy. They are not on Skype, they are not on Facebook, they are not hanging out. They're growing their business. So be patient and be consistent. If you have a track record, if you are specific, if you offer value, and if you have patience, and if you're, you know, if you're really determined to have that mentor's help, you will have a ton of opportunities to make that contact work. Okay guys, again, successful entrepreneurs, they are super, super generous people, but you need to hit a nerve over there to get their help and to get their attention. If you have any other questions whatsoever, that's my experience when it comes to reaching out to famous people, people that are there where I want to be right now. So that's my experience. If you have any other questions whatsoever, just drop them in the comments below and I'll be happy, happy, to help you guys out. Thank you for watching this video, and I'll see you on the next one. Bye-bye!
