Hey everybody, what's up? Hernan Vazquez here from the internet, and today on this Grow Your Traffic series, I'm going to show you how to grow your traffic for free using Q&A sites. So let's do this. Hey guys, what's up? Welcome to another video on this Grow Your Traffic series. I hope you are enjoying these as much as I am enjoying making them for you. Because that's the idea of this channel, okay, to deliver a ton of free value to you guys. And then if you want to subscribe, if you wanna leave me a like, if you wanna leave me a comment, I would be more than grateful. You know, at some point maybe I could sell you something, but shh, don't say anything yet. Now on this case, I wanna share with you a great source of traffic that I have been using for the past maybe 2 months, and it's bringing me great, great, great results. These are Q&A sites, question and answer sites, and the approach is really similar to the forums approach that I have discussed in this video right here. I'm gonna leave a link here or in the description below or somewhere floating around the screen. You're gonna have a link to that. So if you haven't watched that video yet, go and watch it because, you know, on these Q&A sites we're gonna be touching a little bit of what we discussed on the forums approach. Now, Q&A sites, I'm also gonna leave a link on the description below so that you can download a free guide When I go about how to find these Q&A sites, some of them are super evident like Quora.com for example or YahooAnswers.com. Those are like the biggest, the big boys of the neighborhood. Now there are some other Q&A sites that they are more niched down. Now the difference between Q&A sites and forums is that you do not need to be that niched on the Q&A site because the Q&A being so Q&A site being so massive. It will automatically niche your account to the topics that you tell it to, okay? So for example, I have a Quora.com profile, it's over here, and you know, you can follow me. I'm gonna leave a link below so if you can click on it and you can follow me. But the main idea here is that I have added, you know, the topics of SEO, PPC, internet marketing, tomato growing, turtle mating, and it's Astrophysics, because that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm an astrophysicist part-time. But the main thing here is that you can niche down your market, and that's super, super important because let's say that you are a fitness coach trying to push a guide on vegan eating. I don't know, I'm making this up as you can tell. But what you wanna do is to go ahead and use the categories of fitness, of course, exercise, maybe healthy eating, nutrition, veganism and those kind of things. And you wouldn't believe the amount of people that are asking questions every single day. And the good thing about— what I really like about Quora in particular is that people can invite you to answer their questions, okay? They will ask for SEO experts and they will invite everyone on the question, and when you have some clout, they want you to answer that question, okay? Which is super, super Super powerful. Now the approach will be the same. Download the guide to check out how to find these Q&A sites. Then when you are signing up for this, you want to have a personal avatar. You need to have a personal name behind it. Even if you're using these question and answer sites to promote your brand, it doesn't really matter. It can be, you know, it can be Hernan Vazquez slash brand dot com. But I really prefer people answering these questions instead of brand. Even if you're signing up with signing off with you know the brand or the community manager name, I really like actually relating to the people that are asking the question and that are answering them. Pretty much like the forum side of things. So you want to create your account with a branded sorry without personal account, okay, with a Gravatar that has your picture in it, etc. Then step number 2 would be to actually optimize your profile. These profiles, they rank really well on Google, so you can use keywords on these profiles to actually, you know, tell people what you're up to, why you are sharing your knowledge in Quora, for example, or Yahoo Answers, whatever. And the questions themselves will also rank with your answer in them. So here's the deal. You sign up with your personal name, you elaborate your profile, you can use the same description like Google+, like other forums, like Twitter, etc. I have the same Twitter description because it's actually pulling from Twitter, and then you want to start answering those questions that nobody has answered yet because even if they have low amount of views and low amount of traffic, they will build your profile. So you want to kind of balance it out. The questions that have, you know, low traffic but they are super niched, you want to answer those. And then you want to go for the kill. You want to go for the big questions that have like probably a couple hundred answers. Do not be afraid of leaving your insight on it because that's exactly what these Q&A websites are made for, so that experts can leave their insights on it. So do not be afraid of doing so, even if the questions have like 300 answers. It doesn't matter because one of those questions have brought me a ton of followers, you know. And probably I was repeating, I didn't get to read all of the other answers. And because, you know, I just want to be genuine and I just want to say something insightful, even it has been, you know, if you start reading the other answers you will probably think, oh, this has been answered already, so what do I have to add to the discussion? But the truth is that you do have to add to the discussion. That's the thing here on these Q&A sites. So go ahead and balance it out. Answer the questions that they have low amount of question— low amount of answers and traffic. They will build up, you know, they will stack on each other. And then you can also answer the mammoths, like the behemoths of questions. Those questions that they're really generic and you can really, really nail it down with a good reading guide. Spend your time because these, as well as forums, they will be time-consuming to make it work. And there's a ton of fun, okay? It's a ton of fun to actually, because who doesn't like leaving an opinion, okay? Who doesn't like being answering stuff like if you were some Albert Einstein or something like that, okay? Shame on you. I'm just kidding, but the thing here is that this really works really, really well. Now what's good about Quora and many other websites is that at some point they will allow you to leave links, and on those links you can be pushing a free guide, your product, etc. You could be pushing on these sites, I'm, you know, I'm answering when I have a video answering the question, I would also add the video, and what's good about this is the video is embedded. So you do not need to leave Quora to actually watch the video, which is pretty cool. So you can leave links to other social profiles, to Twitter, you can embed your tweets, you can embed your Instagram posts. There's a ton of things that you can make to make these answers more visually appealing and have more CTR, etc. So again, Q&A sites, they are a great way of generating traffic to your website. They behave a ton like forums. Again, if you haven't watched that video, you can do it by clicking here. I'm going to leave a link over here somewhere so that you can watch that video. Combining forums with Q&A sites can be a killer way of generating authority, generating trust, a ton of trust, and also generating a flood of visitors, targeted visitors that actually want to check you out because You're not forcing them, you're not showing ads, you're not putting anything down their throats, okay, unless they wanted to. So anyways, this is the way I approach Q&A sites. Share this video with somebody that needs to start implementing this for their business, please. And if you really like this video, smash that like button on Facebook, on YouTube, whatever, and leave a comment below, and I would love to know what you guys want to say. Your comments make me super, super happy. Do not miss video number 3. We're gonna be talking about guest posting and press releases. Press releases are super powerful, so you do not want to miss that. Thank you guys for watching, and I'll see you on the next video.
