You like that sound, right? Hey guys, what's up? Hernan Vazquez here. Welcome to another video, and thank you, thank you, thank you once again for the amazing amount of support that you guys have been giving me over the past couple of weeks. It's been amazing. I've been trying to upload maybe 4, 5 videos a week as time permits, and I try to make this short, to the point marketing techniques, traffic techniques, conversion techniques, things that will actually enhance your online business. So if you like this, if you're into this, don't forget to click on the subscribe button, or I'm going to leave a link over here so that you can subscribe as well. Now today I want to address press releases, and press releases in my opinion, and one, It's one of the best and most lethal weapons on everyone's marketer's arsenal. Now press releases, they have a ton of impact. They can have a ton of impact in your business because in terms of traffic, in terms of authority, in terms of awareness, and in terms of SEO backlinks, they are all working great with press releases. Now a caveat, I know that this is a free traffic series. Press releases are not entirely free because you need to have 2 things basically for a press release to work. Number one is a press release submission service. Usually these are kind of expensive, but I'm gonna leave a link below to my go-to guy when it comes to press releases, or a couple of links rather, to my go-to guys when it comes to press releases, which make things super, super simple and super inexpensive as well. So that's step number 1, the submission service. You can be paying anywhere from $300 to $500 to $1,000 per month to get a set number of press releases to be submitted, but this is not the case. These are generally one-offs and as long as you keep needing them, you can keep ordering them, whatever. So these are not even near that amount of money per press release. Now, that's step number 1, you know, to have a press release service or submission service. Now, step number 2 is to have the press release article. The press release article or the press release itself is not any kind of article. It has to comply with, you know, a set of rules. It has to be newsworthy. It has to, you know, it has to be written in a journalist style. It has to have a ton of little nuances that are particular to press releases articles. The problem is that if you do not follow those nuances, there's a big chance that your press release will be deleted or rejected, or, you know, you won't even be submitted to those big newspapers. Now again, the services that I'm gonna put below, 2 or 3 of my go-to guys when it comes to press releases, they will write the press release for you and they will submit it to a ton of websites, and that's where the press release comes to play when it comes to traffic generation. Now, many SEOs out there will use press releases in terms of SEOs. For example, when you are setting up your press release, many of these services will allow you to set up links on those press releases. Now, the, the problem and the benefit— there's a pro and a con when it comes to press releases. Press releases will actually be submitted to 300, 400 700, 1,000 different websites, okay? Different newspapers, different websites that will actually post your press release over there. Now there is a benefit of that is that when you're using branded anchor text like yourbrand.com or long-tail anchor text or semi-branded anchor text, you will get a ton of SEO benefits. Press releases are widely used when it comes to equalizing your link profile. For example, if you're super optimized for a keyword in your link profile, you can submit a press release and it will instantly lower your keyword density for the profile, okay? Because as long as you're using branded anchor text like yourbrand.com, okay, or your brand name. Now, when it comes to submitting a press release, there's also the cons that it will get submitted to a ton of authority websites. I've seen a ton of SEOs making the mistake of using press releases as link building tools, and they are link building tools, but they are so powerful that they can literally knock your website out of the search engines if you're being too aggressive with your anchor text. And by aggressive with your anchor text, I mean, let's say that you have a dental clinic in Las Vegas. If you're using dental clinic Las Vegas as one of your links and then dental treatments Las Vegas to another internal link. That will pretty much screw you up and your website because you do not want to be as aggressive with your anchor text. We are not in 2005 anymore. So just have in mind that, you know, with those nuances. Now, press releases not only serve for SEO purposes but also for traffic purposes. They can get you literally a ton of traffic and awareness in little time because the services that I'm going to put below, they will also include your press release in Google News and you're having a great backlink and a great— a ton of traffic, a great deal of traffic from Google itself. So this can be super, super powerful. Now press releases in terms of backlinks and in terms of the amount of money that you need to invest, It's not even funny. You won't find these kind of benefits anywhere else. It doesn't matter what kind of backlinking you're doing. It doesn't matter what kind of traffic strategy you're doing. Press releases are one of the best traffic strategies out there when it comes to promoting your website. When I'm starting out a website, I usually submit a press release so I'm kind of pillowing and getting a ton of backlinks from authority sources. And also turn off of traffic. You know, if you have like an email opt-in in place, or if you have a lead magnet in place, you can actually, you know, start gathering subscribers right off the bat. So have that in mind, guys. Press releases, you need to have 2 things. Number one is the press release submission service, that— and number 2 is the article, the press release written in journalist format. You can go out there and hire, you know, journalists that will cost you a ton of money when it comes to writing the piece, and then you need to— on top of that, you need to add the submission. I'm gonna leave a couple of links below in the description so that you can, you know, save a ton of money when it comes to press releases. I think again that they are not being used enough. From the press release itself, remember to link to your homepage, branded anchors, and to an internal page, also use branded anchors. You can also link to a social media profile, to your Twitter profile, to your Facebook page, those kind of things from the press release, and that will make much more sense because you're being, you know, you're promoting your company as a whole and you do not want to manipulate the search engines in any way, shape, or form. Okay guys, so start using press releases, use the links below, and stay tuned for the next video because in the next video I'm going to talk about one of the most powerful traffic and backlinks opportunities out there, which are guest posting.
