In this video Hernan Vazquez answers a viewer’s question about whether to promote affiliate products or develop one’s own products. He explains that beginners should start by promoting affiliate offers—especially via platforms like ClickBank—to quickly earn money and practice online‑marketing skills without risking client relationships. Once a marketer has built experience, a subscriber list, and possibly some client work, he advises shifting to creating and selling proprietary info products, which provides full control over sales, support, and profits. He references Ryan Levesque’s book “The Ask” as a useful framework for product development and encourages viewers to engage with his channel and social media for further advice. The overall message is a step‑by‑step progression: affiliate marketing as a learning and income foundation, then proprietary product creation for scaling and ownership.

I have hired them, so we will have some explosions real, real soon, and maybe a tit or two. Okay, but I'm not sure about the tits. I'm pretty sure about the alien spaceships. They will be coming at any time soon. I'm just kidding. This is gonna be a plain and simple video, pure value, nothing, you know, that could distract the serious conversation that we are having right this moment. Okay guys, but anyways, I didn't want to lose the opportunity to actually thank you for being here, for the amount of support, for the comments. Okay, it's really, really important that you keep doing that so I, you know, I'm encouraged to keep cranking out these videos. Okay, so if you like them, Click on the like button, subscribe, and you can leave a comment or a rant or whatever you want to do on the comments below. Okay, now on this opportunity, I wanted to touch base on a really, really cool question that I got from one of the, the guys in the audience, which is, should I be promoting my own products or affiliate products? Or in other words, should I be developing my own products or promoting affiliate products? What do you suggest? So that's exactly the question that I want to answer today. So let's get right into it. You know, when it comes to marketing online and developing your own products, etc., it's a complex and it's, it's a thorough process, okay? To create your own, to create your own products, to develop and to uncover your market's needs, it's really not a simple process. However, in my experience, the most money I have ever made online was when I have actually developed or co-developed my own products. That was literally a before and after in my online marketing career. I was doing clients, I was doing affiliates, I was doing a ton of things, but when I started developing my own courses and my own products with my companies, things changed dramatically. Now there is kind of a process of developing a product and to uncovering your market's needs that every marketer needs to go through. What I mean is that when you're starting out, if you're a newbie, if you want to make your first buck online, if you want to start making money online, the best way to go, the fastest way to go is to start promoting affiliate products. Some people out there will say that the fastest way to go would be to gain a client or 2 and that it's in part true, but the truth of the matter is that if you're starting out, you would better not screw up with your potential client. And the best way to gain insights and to gain experience and to actually be out there doing stuff and practicing everything that you learn out there is to actually start promoting affiliate products. You can go to clickbank.com and apply for a ton of products. Some products, they will ask you for some sales initially, and then some other products will ask you for pretty much anything so you can apply to them. And start developing your online marketing skills. So if you're starting out, the best way to go would be to actually promote other people's product and earn a commission as an affiliate. Now when you have some experience and probably you have some clients right now and probably you have been promoting affiliate products, there's literally a before and after when you start creating your own products because let's be honest, You're not paying to grow someone— somebody else's brand. You're not working to grow somebody else's website. You're not growing and you're not working to grow somebody else's subscribers list. So the best way to go is to develop your own products, your own training products, your own programs, your own info products. That way you can control the full sales process, support process, technical support, the development, pretty much everything. And what's more important, all of the money that you make for promoting that product belongs to you. Okay, so the best way to actually earn a ton of money online and start developing your own company and your own brand and your own subscribers base is to really develop and market your own product. Okay, so again, if you're starting out and you do not have a list and you do not have much experience, and you haven't played, like for example, with SEO or PPC, etc., the best way to go is to promote affiliate products. That's like the fastest way not only to make money but also to learn the ropes of online marketing. On the other hand, if you have a subscribers list, if you have a base, if you have some clients already and you want to take your business to the next level, my best advice would be to actually go out there and create a product, promote your own product, etc. I'm gonna leave a link over here so that you can check out my review on The Ask book by Ryan Levesque. That's a great starting point if you want to actually develop your own product. Okay guys, so the link is gonna be around here so that you can check that video out.
