HOW TO SCALE YOUR META ADS CAMPAIGN WITH REEL ADS

A marketer cut his book funnel's cost per acquisition from $100 to the low $30s by shooting vertical Reel ads in Punta Cana, then feeding the best post IDs into Meta's Advantage campaigns to blend cold and warm traffic. He refreshes creatives weekly because ads expire, and warns that market volatility from big launches by competitors like Alex Hormozi can spike your CPM.

The other thing that I want to share with you is kind of an update on my Low Ticket Profits book. This is again a combination of Advantage Shopping campaigns or Advantage Sales campaigns combined with real ads. But let me actually share my ads with you. Okay, so I'm excited about real ads specifically for my Low Ticket Profits book, and I've been due for an update on that funnel. The reality is, you know, just a little bit of a backstory. I launched this book funnel, you know, free plus shipping book funnel, and it didn't really hit at the beginning. I was getting probably like $100 CPAs, you know, it wasn't, it wasn't really hitting. My average order value is still something that I'm working on, you know, but it wasn't, it wasn't really hitting. And, you know, I was like, okay, you know what, I'm just gonna stop it because then I went into this trip to Punta Cana, which you might know. And, uh, and, you know, I'm just like, okay, I'm gonna, I'm gonna stop it for a little bit, and then when I come back, then I'm going to relaunch it. Okay, and then we'll see what happens. Now, lo and behold, I did that, right? So let me actually filter that by low-ticket book. Um, so I did that, right? And so while I was in, in Punta Cana, what I did was to record a bunch— was to take a bunch of ads. I actually got, you know, copies of my book. I took them there. And I just took a bunch of ads and I recorded several, you know, vertical little video ads. So I went ahead and recorded video ads for real ads. When I came back, I launched those video ads and let me show you how they are performing so far. So if I share with you the beginning of the campaign, as you can see here, this was the beginning of a campaign. Again, it wasn't really hitting, you know, I spent probably like, I don't know, $500, $600. You know, CTR was okay-ish, you know, but cost per lead was super high, blah blah blah. I started split testing, but here's what happened when I started launching real ads. Okay, so of course this is my warm audience, and it started performing really well with my warm audience. But look at this one, right? And again, this is something that I do every single week. So every single week I will go in and I will launch new creatives for most of my offers. So I did that and I ran some real ads And as you can see, let me actually share with you my cost per purchase went down dramatically. Okay, it went down from like 100 and something, you know, in some cases, right, not even that, all the way down to 34. This one I launched, I don't know when did I launch this, like yesterday actually, and I actually got 2 purchases for $12, right? So I'm super excited about real ads. But if I share with you the real ads, themselves. These are these type of real ads right here. So let me actually share with you. So there we go. Of course, it's going to take forever. So here's something that we recorded, right? So it's really short copy, right? And this is the copy that's on the page, by the way, which is the same subheadline that I have on the book. How to turn cheap digital products into customer-getting machines that generate buyers for free in 7 days or less, blah, blah, blah. But as you can see here, it says how to turn cheap digital products into customer-getting machines in 7 days or less, which is the same headline that I'm using on the website, right, on the landing page. Get your copy now. I also like put it here, right? It has a— this has a little bit of a trending audio, which I'm going to share with you in a second. I'm going to just send you the, the, the links. But this is a 23-second-long Real ad, right? Here's another example of one that's working really well. This one right here, it's another example. So here's another example of real ads that are working well. So again, of course, you know, of course the, the, uh, the C and everything works, but you don't have to do this, right? Uh, the funny part— here's the funny part— is that on this case, I'm actually sharing or showing, showcasing the, uh, book Right? I'm actually showcasing the book here. But here's the funny part. I have some other real ads that are working where I don't— the video has nothing to do with the product that I'm selling, which is kind of weird, kind of crazy, right? I had these— I actually talked to a consulting client before jumping on this call, and he came through, he bought the bundle for $97, and then he got a call with me, right, for another like $300. And he came through a through a real ad that, uh, you know, I'm just like, I think I'm in like London or something, you know. So I'm recording, I recorded the Big Ben and whatnot, and then I just added the same copy that I have on my head on my website, and lo and behold, they started working. So they started really popping, right? So am I stopping to use ugly ads or images? I am not. I'm actually not. But if you see the results that I'm getting here, they're crazy. And of course I launched for warm because why not, right? I do have my warm audience. It keeps on growing and all that. So I launched it. The results are ridiculous here. Of course, it would be expected to be really good. But let's take a look at this one. By the way, I haven't checked this campaign since I launched it. Here's another. Oh, by the way, it says reel, but it's not a reel. It's actually an image. So this is a misnomer. So this seems to be working well. So anyways, I'm running those type of ads and they're working well. But the main point is this. The main point is that after a little bit, after a while, I went ahead and I ordered them by purchase, by cost per purchase. So as you can see, this one got 8, this one got 5, this one got 5, this one got 2, right? And what I did was to grab the post IDs. So the way you do this is as I show you, right? You go into edit right here, you share this, Facebook posts with comments, and then you grab this number, this string of numbers right here, right at the end. And then what I did was to launch an Advantage sales campaign for this funnel, right? And look at this, like right off the bat it started hitting. It's a $56 per purchase. Again, my average order value on this funnel is not really there yet. I'm working to make it better. People are not really taking the upsells. Seems like the newsletter might not be a good fit for this. People are taking the trial, but they're not taking the first upsell. But since I launched my done-for-you low-ticket offer last week, or at least, yeah, I think it was like last week, last Wednesday. Since I launched the low-ticket done-for-you offer, I'm going to add that as the upsell, right? So the upsell for this low-ticket profits, it's like, hey, do you want us to do a low-ticket offer for you? Right? So again, I'm still working on getting this funnel in place, but I grabbed the post IDs. I grabbed the post IDs, and this is another real ad, right? And by the way, you can also try this with still images. This is a screenshot that I— somebody gave me, right? So this is a still image, but it still has these trending audio, and it's pretty cool. So this turns out to be 15 seconds, right? But, you know, anyways, uh, it's, it's pretty, it's pretty cool. So anyways, try Reel Ads because they're working. And then once you have— and by the way, Reel Ads is just one thing that I want to share with you— but once you have some proven creatives, right, once you have some proven creatives, uh, you can grab those creatives and you can throw them into an Advantage Shopping campaign. If you go to the community, you search for Advantage Shopping campaign, you have an updated tutorial on Advantage Shopping or Advantage Sales campaigns, and you're able to squeeze more juice out of this. And the good news about this is that there's— they'll start stacking social proof, right? They'll start stacking social proof, these real ads and these video ads. Let me actually show you why I think that Advantage Sales campaigns, Advantage Shopping campaigns work so well. And this is something that we're going to talk in next week's workshop, that this is why, right? So if I go to the breakdown right here, and I have my audience segments set up, which by the way, I show you how to set up your audience segments in that tutorial. But if I go here, you will be able to see that out of these 10 buyers, right, out of these 10 buyers, Facebook is kind of going back and forth between my engaged audience, which is my warm audience, my existing customers, right, and new customers. So Facebook is going back and forth between a new audience and an existing audience. Now, most of these ad spend went to a new audience, which is great, right? But being that we do broad campaigns or broad ads for an Advantage Shopping campaign or Advantage Sales campaign, it will go out there and do a combination between cold and warm and cold and warm and cold and warm. And you will see some days that it's heavily spending on warm and some other days that it's heavily spending on cold. All right. And that's okay. That's what we want to do. That's what we're trying to do here. So anyways, I'm launching reel ads for all of my offers, whether they are still images with some text on them and trending audio, whether they are little B-roll videos. I relaunched my, my framework, reel ads. I relaunched my retargeting playbook. So all of my low-ticket offers, they're all getting reel ads moving forward. And once I start finding those good creatives, I just grab them and throw them into, into an Advantage Shopping campaign. And quite honestly, I've been running some, uh, some Advantage Shopping campaigns for quite a while. So, uh, if I go and, and filter this by ASC, uh, some of these have spent a decent amount and they've been running for quite a while. So this one, the Retargeting Playbook, this has spent $6,000. It's been running since Let me actually see. This ASC campaign has been running for since the beginning of June. I haven't touched the ads, so it's gonna get close to two months, right? I haven't touched the ads. This one started okay, then it fizzled out. This one, the the rapid framework, it's been running for a while too with my best ads. So yeah, so yeah, if if I go back since April 30th, okay, since April 30th. That I throw in my best ads and I haven't really touched it, right? Uh, this one, the rapid creative ones, if I go back here, let's see, this has been also running since April 30th, right? So that is April, May, June, July. So that's like 3 months that I haven't really touched these ads. Now, of course, you need to be launching new creatives every week. Of course, we're always hunting for new creatives. Of course, because all of these ads they do have an expiration date. We already know that, right? But if you combine the fact that you're launching new creatives every week and then every couple of weeks you will find those creatives that are working and you throw them into an Advantage Shopping campaign, then that will allow you to scale, you know, and things become a lot more— a lot smoother, you know, or a lot more smooth, if that makes sense, when it comes to, you know, running your ads. So anyways, I'm super excited about that. Go give them a Give them a shot because they're working, you know? Run some real ads because they're really working. And then one last thing that I did want to mention is that if you experienced any kind of volatility for the past maybe 2 weeks, maybe since the beginning of August, if your CPA went crazy, I blame it on the Hormozis, okay? I blame it on Alex Hormozi spending like $6 million in like 2 weeks or something crazy like that. And I'm not kidding. I'm only half kidding, by the way, but I blame it on them, you know, because they spent like a gazillion dollars on that launch and they really made history. But we have seen volatility. We have seen an increase in CPMs, okay, across the board. So I talked to like at least 7 people that had the same issues. So I just blame it on the Hormosis, okay? I'll never blame it on you, of course. But yeah, that's something to consider.
