đź’Ž[PRO TIP] How To REALLY Make Your Facebook Ads Workđź’Ž

In this live stream, the presenter greets viewers across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube before diving into a core tip for anyone running Facebook ads. He explains that every ad campaign operates within a funnel—typically moving prospects from ad click to webinar registration, webinar view, and finally purchase. While Facebook provides instant metrics for on‑platform actions (clicks, impressions, engagements), any activity that occurs outside Facebook (landing page visits, registrations, sales) is reported with a delay. This lag can cause advertisers to mistakenly pause or disable ad sets that appear under‑performing, only to discover later that they generated conversions. The speaker demonstrates this in real time using Business Manager, showing ad sets that were turned off but later recorded purchases, and advises regularly revisiting and re‑enabling past ad sets to capture delayed results. He emphasizes monitoring both immediate Facebook metrics and delayed off‑platform conversions. The session concludes with a promotion of his book, “Perpetual Profits,” available at perpetualprofits.net, encouraging viewers to purchase for deeper guidance on campaign creation.

All right, guys. Today, I hope you guys are amazingly well. Let me do the bunch of stuff that I do every time I go live, which is a bunch of different stuff. I hope that's fine, which is you know sharing and going live and whatnot. All right, guys. How are you? How are you? How are you? All right. So I'm gonna do this because I'm gonna go live on Facebook when I do this, and I'm also going going to go live on the Instagrams. What's up, Instagram? How are you? What's up, Instagram? All right, so here we go. Boom! We're live on the Facebooks and we're live on the YouTubes and we're live on the Instagrams. What's up, Instagrams? And let me actually share it on the Facebook group. And a lot of you people have been joining lately, so I really appreciate you guys for joining. I really do. Let me actually see if I can share this. On the Facebook group, which is you get to the Facebook group by going to hernanvasquez.com/facebook. That is my name dot com slash Facebook. Or the other thing that you can do is just go to Facebook and type Digital Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs, and there's a little diamond whatever, uh, at the end of the title. And for some reason I'm not able to share it today. Let me actually see this. Yeah, all right, so I'm live here on the Facebook and on the Instagram. Just give me a minute, all right? Just bear with me, please, please. All right, so I think we should be good. Where's my live thing? Okay, so here it is. I'm gonna share it, sharing a group, and the name of the group again is Digital Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs. All right, boom, we're gonna be talking. All right, we're good here. Just gonna close this and I'm gonna focus. All right, focus. So we're gonna be talking about Facebook ads, which is a topic that you guys seem to enjoy for whatever reason. Uh, sometimes I do too. Sometimes I do enjoy running Facebook ads. Sometimes I hate it. But you know, it's the name of the game, baby. It's the name of the game. So here's what I want to share with you guys today. Here's a pro tip for everyone there running Facebook ads. Okay, it doesn't matter what you're doing. Here's a pro tip for all of you guys, okay? So hope you're— hope you're ready. Here's the thing: whenever you're running Facebook ads, you have a funnel. Even if it is running ads to your homepage, right, or to your website, that's a funnel in my terms. So whenever you're running Facebook ads, you have some type of conversion that you want to build, right? Even if you're not running conversions right now, there's some type of objective that you want to have with your Facebook ads. Okay, so let's say that you're sending people to a webinar. So you have a webinar funnel, all right? And you have a webinar funnel, you send people from Facebook ads to your webinar funnel and whatnot. And then by doing that, you get people to register for the webinar, and then you get people to watch the webinar, and then you get people to actually, you know, buy your stuff potentially. So if you think about it, there's 3 conversions there. There's 3 types of conversions. You have webinar registrants, number one, then you have, um, webinar, uh, viewers or watchers, and then you have buyers. All right, so 3 conversions, keeping it super simple. Now the reality is this, here's what you need to have in mind when you're running Facebook ads, is that Facebook, for everything that's outside of Facebook, meaning for everything that Facebook doesn't control, which is your funnel— when people click on, on a Facebook ad, they're going out of Facebook and into your funnel So whenever you are sending people into a funnel, Facebook stops controlling that traffic altogether. What I mean is that now it's up to your funnel to actually, you know, make them convert or not, you know. So for everything Facebook related, Facebook has instant feedback. Facebook can report those metrics to you pretty much instantly. Now whatever happens outside of Facebook, Facebook is lagging behind your ads. What I mean is this. Let's say that you have a campaign that's running, you know, a couple, a couple Facebook ads, and let's say that you're wanting to get webinar registrants, right, at $5 per webinar registrant. So you, or you want to get people to download your free stuff for $5 a pop or whatever. There's a big chance that whenever you have this type of ads, there's a big chance that you will be disabling ads and ad sets that are actually having— they're actually having performance, but you, you just don't know it yet. Okay, what I mean is that whenever you're running Facebook ads, you're sending people to a landing page, they opt in, they land on the thank you page. That thank you page is considered to be a lead, right? That's what a lead is for. I'm doing this for Instagrams and what's up Facebooks, so, and the YouTubes too. So What I mean is that you wanna be really sure that you're checking back your prior ad sets to make sure that you're not missing conversions. What I mean is, for instance, let me actually share it to you. I wasn't thinking of sharing my screen, but I will anyways. Let me actually share something that's happening right now with the Instagrams too. I'm gonna try and do that. So let me go to this page and let me start sharing my screen. So here we are opening the Business Manager, and now I'm gonna start doing this. With the little tripod that we have right here. Okay, boom. So here we go. We have a couple of, um, damn, this is hard, but we have a couple of, um, of, of running campaigns, right? And now we had— remember that I showed you guys yesterday the, the, the fact that we had like 3 purchasers or whatever? Now we have 8. And the reality is that we had had a couple of purchasers throughout the night, so they might be accounting for this. But here's— it's funny. Here's what's funny is the fact that some of these ad sets, some of these ad sets right here, I had to turn them back on because yesterday they didn't have any conversions. What I mean is that they didn't have any conversions, so I had to turn them off because they were over KPI, right? They were like getting me— they have already spent what I was ready to spend and they didn't get any, uh, any conversions. But the reality is that when I look back, this bad boy right here that says 2 This one right here that says 2, it had 2 purchasers today. Now this is completely normal. This is 100% normal on Facebook. So what I'm telling you right now, and here's a pro tip when it comes to running your Facebook ads, check your past ad sets, all right, and turn them back on if you see that they're performing. So for instance, I'm running ads for several clients that have webinar funnels, right? And webinar funnels, the— you can register today for a webinar, but you can buy 10 days down the road. Okay, so that might be, that might be the case that I'm disabling an ad set that got a sale, but Facebook will not report back to me maybe 28 days down the road. That means that I always need to be checking back on my ad sets no matter what I do. All right, so I hope this helps. What I try— what I'm trying to say here is that you're working with 2 types of indicators on Facebook ads. Number one is whatever Facebook controls— clicks, impressions, anything that has to do with, with, you know, clicks and impressions, maybe how much, how much people are engaging with your ad and whatnot. So those are, those are good, and those are, those are pretty much instant, instantly reported on your dashboard. But when you are taking people out of Facebook, there's a lag behind it, so you need to account for that lag. Okay, so I hope that makes sense. It's just a little trick, a little tip that I knew. And maybe you're disabling ads, just turn those bad boys back up and see what happens. All right, what happens when you disable an ad or an ad set that got a sale? Just turn it back on. Let's see what happens. All right, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't because you killed it. Who knew? You just you were just going after your you know your your textbook if you would. So if the if you if you find this valuable, go ahead and share that and share this share this if I can talk sorry about that. So go ahead and share this and and if you want to know more about how to create this type of campaigns, you need to get a copy of my book and you can get a copy of my book by going to perpetualprofits.net.
