Welcome to this episode, piece of content, whatever it is that you're watching this in, whatever format. I hope that you're doing great. And what I want to share with you guys is something pretty cool that I came across with— I came across, stumbled upon yesterday. Uh, while I was tweaking the slideshow for the webinar that I did, I did a live webinar. It was awesome. We talked about how to crush it in 2022, uh, with Facebook advertising, uh, from people running Facebook advertising. Okay, that's the title of the presentation. And if you want to catch the replay, go to 100millionwebinar.com. 100millionwebinar.com will have the replay up for a couple more days. So if you want to catch the replay, it's around 90 minutes. So make sure that you're carving out that time out of your day because it's really valuable. Okay, people stay all the way until the end. We got a lot of good comments and it was pretty cool. And in that presentation, that class, I went ahead and showed a lot of proof of companies and even personal clients and even ourselves how we're able to thrive during a recession, why it's really important that you pay attention to these signals for the next upcoming weeks and months. Okay, so again, if you want to check it out, the entire presentation, it's up for a couple more days. Uh, I think I'm gonna leave it up for the, for the weekend. So now if you go to 100millionwebinar.com and you get redirected somewhere else, it's because we took it down. So go ahead and register You know, you can just watch it without registering. 100mwebinar.com. It's at the bottom of the screen and it's on the notes somewhere around here. So I want to share with you guys one of the graphics that I kind of took out of the internet yesterday when I was tweaking this presentation, which I think it's pretty cool and it's pretty explanatory of what's going to happen when it comes to advertising in general. Especially when it comes to Facebook ads and why I think I keep on saying and I keep on preaching that it's a great time to be running Facebook ads, okay? So let me actually share my screen because I want to show you something pretty cool. Okay, there we go. So let me take out this bar right here. Okay, cool. So this is one of the slideshows and the slides that I put together for the presentation yesterday. Again, if you want to watch the entire presentation, go to 100mwebinar.com or click the link somewhere around here. But this is pretty cool because— and I was, I was smack down in the middle of this crisis running ads for one of the clients. So long story short, they came to us and we met at a conference and, and they were looking— they were— they had developed a really good offer that was working really well with Facebook ads. And they wanted to scale. So they were looking for people to run their ads, right? They were looking for several agencies to run their ads, which I think it was a smart move because it allowed them to hire in different agencies. It allowed them to kind of de-risk and then pick the best one. And funny enough, they end up picking us as the best one because then I went on to become the marketing director for this company. So we were doing something right and we were competing against Other world-class agencies. But the bottom line was this: the bottom line is that they came to us because they had a really good offer. They were spending $30,000 a month on advertising, and they were making really good money. So they wanted to scale, and we were able to take them from $30,000 a month to $1.5 million a month on ads a month, right? On Facebook and Instagram ads profitably. And one of the reasons why we were able to do that is because they had a great offer. Another reason is because they had a great backend. So while they broke even and at that scale they didn't make any money on the front end, they were actually losing money on the front end. But on the back end, they were, you know, 6xing. Like for every dollar that they were spending, they will make $6 back in 90 days. So they will keep on scaling. But the point was that the point is this graphic here that I want to share with you. We had this little thing called the pandemic happen a couple of years ago. And this is a graphic that shows how the cost to advertise on Facebook went down for the first time ever during this period right here that you can see on the, on the red box. For the first time ever during this period, what happens is that the cost CPMs or the cost per thousand impressions, which is basically the cost that we advertise and advertisers pay to the platform, we pay to the platform to show our ads a thousand times. It went down for the first time ever. Okay, for the first time ever since they launched the advertising platform on Facebook, the cost to advertise on Facebook went down. And the reason why it went down, it's because during the pandemic, there was a lot of uncertainty, kind of what's going on right now, but at a different level, right? So there was a lot of uncertainty. And advertisers, what they did was they started pulling their advertising budgets out of Facebook and out of all of the advertising platforms because we saw CPMs plummet like crazy across the board on all of the networks. And the reason why this happened is again, because both big and small advertisers, they started pulling their dollars off the platform and that kind of created a vacuum, which was pretty cool because when I, you know, we started running ads for these guys, And we started seeing CPMs drop for the first time ever. We were paying, I don't know, $37 CPMs, $47 CPMs, and I saw them drop less to 80%, right? So we were paying like $12 and $10 or $15 to reach the same amount of people. So that meant that the cost per click went down, the cost to acquire a customer went down. So we were able to scale and scale and scale and scale and scale. Scale and the cost to acquire a customer was really attractive. So this is exactly what happens during a pandemic, right, or, or a crisis. A lot of advertisers, a lot of business owners, they'll tend to retract. They'll tend to play the offensive— the defensive position, sorry. They'll tend to retract. They'll tend to, you know, be, uh, be more conservative with their budget. Funny enough, one of the things that they cut is advertising budgets. And, and which is funny to me because when I, when I work with Grant Cardone and Frank Kern, and I consulted with Tony Robbins, Dinger CEOs and whatnot, one of the things that these guys do is they keep on advertising no matter what. That's, that's kind of what keeps them, you know, fresh and available and viable throughout the seasons, right? It's because they keep on advertising. In fact, they double down. When this happens, because they understand that if there's a time for you to acquire market share, it's during a crisis. Because if you think about it, this is like a football match, like a foot— like an American football game. It's like when the team is— the, the, the, the, the opposite team is on the, on the offensive, right? The, on the defensive, then you can gain terrain, you can gain yards, you can, you can move forward, you can move forward, you can move forward. And when things go back to normal, which they will go back to normal, then you would have gained a lot of terrain. You would have gained a lot of new customers. You would have acquired a lot of additional market share, which is exactly what this client that I'm telling you about did. We went from $30,000 a month to $1.5 million a month on advertising spend. And they rode the wave and they rode the wave and they became a $100 million company valuation. So This is exactly what happens during crises. During crises, most business owners will retract, they will contract, they will pull their advertising budgets, they will spend less. So that creates a vacuum because the amount of users on Facebook doesn't change that much, right? On Instagram doesn't change that much. So what happens is that that creates a vacuum, so that plummets the cost to advertise, number one, which means better quality placements and better placements and, and more ad impressions for the same amount of money, number one. But also number two, what happens is that you get better service because on Facebook and on Instagram and on Google and whatnot, when they start seeing that the, the, the advertisers are going off the platform, then they really want to double down on those advertisers that stay in the platform. So that's when you get better service. So we really don't know if we're going into a recession. You know, there's a lot of stuff happening right now. There's a lot of uncertainty and whatnot. But the reality is that if we do, I always, I always say that these are great times to advertise. And if you're a smart business owner or entrepreneur, if you're watching this video, you are. If you're listening to this in podcast format or whatever, if you're consuming this piece of content, that means that you are smart because you're out there on the lookout, then that means that you can see this and you can double down. So again, instead of retracting, I would say double down on your advertising because this will allow you to grow your list faster, get more customers, acquire customers for cheaper so you can accelerate your growth. So while everyone else is retracting, while everyone else is playing defensive, the ones that are playing offensive during these times are the ones that are going to win. And then as you can see, after the pandemic, we have an all-time high CPM rise. This was during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, because most advertisers wanted to kind of make it back for everything that they couldn't advertise, right? So CPMs went up and then during 2021, we saw another peak here, you know, during the holiday season, which is basically the case on Facebook, right? During the holiday season, we do see a peak. But as you can see, now it's going down and it will keep on trending down. So now is the time to advertise. Now is the time to acquire customers, acquire leads, so that by the time things go back to normal, you're in a very, very nice spot to reap the benefits. Okay, so that's why I think this— there's a big opportunity right now on advertising. If you want to see the entire presentation, this is just one slide. If you want to see the entire presentation, we talked about tracking issues. We talked about what you need to do if you want your campaigns to perform better. We talked about 2 strategies to actually gain better quality customers, how to target, how to gain LinkedIn targeting on Facebook, which is super powerful, how to avoid and prevent shutdowns. So it's a really comprehensive class. I think one of the best out there, if not the best, when it comes to Facebook ads. And then at the end, of course, I tell you that there's an opportunity for you to work one-on-one with me and my team. All right, so if that's something that you want to do, go ahead and check it out. It's 100mwebinar.com. Replay is up for a limited time. You can also apply to potentially talk to us during that presentation if that's something that you want to do. But the main point is that you go out there, watch the webinar replay while it's still the lab and get a lot of value out of it. I hope that this helps.
