The Road To Funnel Hacking Live 2019!

All right, so the reality is that I wanted to kind of check in and I wanted to tell you guys a little bit why I'm going to that conference and why I think that once your business can allow you to go to conferences, you should start going to conferences whenever possible. The reality is that this is my second FHL, Funnel Hacking Live. Last year was awesome. It was amazing. And, you know, I have to travel a lot because it's like a 9-hour flight followed by a couple hours layover followed by another 2-hour flight. So it's going to be, you know, it's going to take me a while to get there because right now I'm in South America and whatnot. But the reality is that it makes it so worth it. I'm meeting there with my partner Adam from Semantic Mastery. We're going to be scheming. We're gonna be planning a bunch of good stuff for this year. But also, I have planned a couple of, you know, a couple of meetings and dinners and lunch and coffees and whatnot with a bunch of cool people. And the reality is that that's where the magic happens, okay? We spend, or I spend at least, a lot of time behind the computer. I spend a lot of time, you know, by myself, if you would, in front of the computer. I have a team here working in Argentina. There's 4 or 5 people here working. but they're all remote, okay? So if we don't go and meet somewhere, it's really, really hard to do so, okay? And then the rest of the team is obviously, is obviously in the US. We have like 30+ VAs in the Philippines and whatnot. They're awesome, but it's really hard to get to know each other, right? It's really hard to go to places and whatnot. So if you're going to FHL, let me know. I'll be more than happy to hang out with you, whatnot, and then maybe we can add value mutually and whatnot. And whenever you're going to a conference, I'm not like— I'm not a super outgoing person. You know how those people are that they just go out there, they take everything by storm, and they just like, you know, love going out there. They're really out there. Well, that's not my case. However, if you lead with value, you cannot go wrong, okay? And this is like my introvert speaking, okay? And the, the social awkward guy speaking. If you lead with value, you cannot go wrong. Trust me, I've always, always, always tried to— if I approach somebody, to lead with value, telling them, hey, I love how you did this, and I love how you, you know, implemented that, and I love— and I think that if you do this, this, and this, it could perform a lot better. So if you lead with value, there's nothing that can go wrong because of the fact that you're not asking. You're not, you know, asking for free advice. A lot of people are charging for advice, so don't ask for free advice. Lead with value. Put some energy into that, and you will be more than happy with the results because you're there, or at least I'm there, to create long-lasting relationships. Okay, it's not that you can just, oh yeah, I'm gonna just get transactional on the communication and whatnot. Alright guys, so if you're there, I hope to see you there.
