WHAT SEPARATES TOP 1% META ADVERTISERS AND ENTREPRENEURS FROM THE REST...

Top Meta advertisers scale massive spend by refreshing creatives constantly. Alex Hormozi tested 2,000 creatives in one launch. The gap comes down to creative velocity: ads fatigue fast, Meta penalizes repetition, and launching new creatives weekly or daily keeps campaigns alive.

So do you know what's the difference between people that are crushing it with Meta ads, people that are able to spend massive amounts of volume and massive amounts of money into the platform without their funnels crashing and being able to make these amazing launches spending millions of dollars, and the rest of the advertisers? I'm gonna share with you on this video because I've had kind of the inside scoop. I was able to work with some of the biggest names in the digital marketing industry, and here's the one thing that I learned. Which I'm going to break down for you on this video. There's this one thing that separates people that are crushing it with ads, people that are able to scale their ads, run ads for a long, long time versus those people that are struggling with scaling their ads on Meta. Because what most people do is they will launch a handful of ads, right? And they might start getting some sales and might start getting some, you know, buyers, some webinar leads, some calls, whatever it is that they are trying to do. On the platform, but then all of a sudden things stop performing. And I actually had this conversation with this client, this private client of mine, that they have an amazing business. They have a high-ticket event that they do every single month for a specific niche, and we have been seeing a steady decline for the past year on their performance. And there's 2 main reasons which I'm going to share with you on this video why that has been happening. And since I came in, I kind of inherited a lot of things on their ad account, and I started implementing some of my secret sauce, if you would. And then things started, you know, kind of quite literally turn over. And now we are back to scaling. We're back to making things work on their ads. So I'm going to share with you right now what's the main difference, what separates these people from the rest of advertisers, and how if you have been struggling with your Meta ads, how you can turn campaigns around just by implementing this one single thing. So let me grab my iPad real quick so I can kind of scribble around and scratch around while I, you know, tell you exactly what's going on. And this is something that, you know, I heard again back when Alex Hormozi did his like $100 million launch, right? He said something in one of his He said something in one of his interviews that they launch around 2,000 creatives or 2,000 ads for that specific launch, right? And then another example of this is during January— we're in July right now— but January this year, I actually got together with a good friend. He wanted to, you know, make a crushing on his challenge. He did a challenge funnel, and we spent $1 million in 3 weeks when it comes to ads. And we launched close to 1,800 creatives, so 1,800 ads with, you know, their offer, and they crushed it. We spent around $1 million and they made around $5 million after the challenge and everything was said and done. Pretty good profit, right? So here's what separates really good media buyers and really good and effective teams versus the rest of people. So what most people do is the following, right? So I'm going to try to scribble here. So what most people do is this, they launch an ad, right? So they launch a campaign or a couple of ads, let's say that they launch, I don't know, 5, maybe 10 ads, something like that, right? And then the usual thing that happens with a lot of people on Meta is this, their ads, they launch them, right? And they do this, they do really well. And then they slowly start declining in time, right? So this could be due to the fact that you are experiencing ad fatigue, right? It could be because you are not launching enough ads or enough variety of ads and whatnot. But generally, this is what happens, right? And tell me if that's you in the comments, that you launch a campaign, they perform well for maybe, you know, a couple days, And then they start performing altogether. Or maybe what happens, which is exactly what happened to this private client that I was telling you about, is that they've been having really good results at the beginning, but then the results start getting worse and worse and worse and worse and worse. At times happen. So that means that their cost— let's put another line here— their costs started going up. So let me make this a little bit better. All right, there we go. So costs started going up. as ad fatigue sets in. So this is performance, right? So we can say this is the performance line, right? So that's the performance line. And generally, what happens is this, you launch some ads, they do well, and then they slowly start declining. Again, for this specific client, we spent— they spent around $1.5 million last year. This year, you know, over the first half of the year, we spent around $600,000. So the ad spend stayed the same. But what happened is that they launched some ads, right? And they've been running the wave of those same ads for a really, really long time. And even when their audience is, you know, super big and super, you know, super large and whatnot, ad fatigue sets in. Because ad fatigue basically happens— it could happen in one of two ways. Number one, is that your audience saw your ads a lot of times, especially if you're spending a lot of money on ads. Your audience have seen those ads over and over and over again, so they literally get ad fatigue. They get what's called ad blindness, right? They are not able to, uh, take action because they've seen that ad so many times, right? But the other thing that not a lot of people talks about is that Meta could actually hurt and and make your ads perform worse because simply they want to keep the platform fresh. So what happens is that when you launch ads and they start performing worse and worse and worse in time, you're being penalized by Meta even if you haven't reached your entire audience. So ad fatigue doesn't only set in when you have run those ads for a long time, it can also set in a lot faster. If Meta is penalizing you because you're not refreshing your creatives fast enough, right? So those are the 2 reasons why your ads might fatigue, and this is why a lot of people see this thing. They see this cost versus performance go down, and then everyone complains and everyone is crying. So let's put a crying little face there because everyone is crying, and then they go to my community or X or whatever, and they complain that Meta don't work. Well, here's the thing. The main difference between really successful advertisers and really effective media buyers and teams and everything, it all comes down to how often we are launching new ads. As I mentioned, Hormozi launched a couple thousand ads. We on this launch launched 1,800 ads for that specific launch, right? And we spent $1 million behind it. I refresh and I tell my students to refresh creatives every single week. So here's what happens. Nobody, And I mean nobody, doesn't matter who you are, it doesn't matter how big your audience is, can escape ad fatigue. Like we all experience this curve, all of us, 100% of the people running ads, we all experience this ad fatigue. So what happens is again, you launch some ads, they perform well, and then they just go down, right? But here's what differentiates big or big spenders or people that know what they're doing versus everyone else. We know that this is going to happen whenever you launch a new ad. It doesn't matter how good your ads are. Whenever you launch a new ad, Meta puts like an expiration date. I tell this to my students all the time. They put an expiration date like a timestamp on each of those ads that you're launching. The thing is that we don't really know when the expiration date might come in. It might come in in a week, it might come in in a month, it might come in in a year. We don't really know. What we do know for sure is that eventually those ads will expire, right? And they won't perform. And here's the thing with this client, if we have kept on running the same ads over and over again, then we have run this, you know, funnel to the ground to the point that it didn't matter what we did, we couldn't really revive it. So you want to be proactive when it comes to launching ads. So what happens is that we all go through this curve. Okay. Again, it doesn't matter who you are. We all go through this curve. But really effective teams, what they do is we are constantly running new ads, we're constantly launching new creatives, and we're constantly testing. Right. So what that allows us to do is that allows us to kind of ride the wave And while some of these ads might be going down, we have some ads that are actually up and coming, right? And some of these ads will still coming down and then some ads come up and coming and come up and coming and whatnot. So we always have ads, proven ads, and this is no magic. We're simply testing a lot of ads all the time so that we know that some of those ads will become what I call golden ads, right? I always say that, you know, out of 100 ads that you launch, 20% of those will become really good ads. 80% will do nothing, right? Or they will actually perform really bad or really poorly. 20% of those ads will become good ads. So that means that, you know, they can ride the wave for a little bit. And then some of those ads will become what I call golden ads. And golden ads are the ones that have the longest shelf life. Those are the ads that you might see on my ads library or some other people that have hundreds of comments and thousands of likes and thousands of shares and whatnot, because those ads we have been running for a long time. But if eventually they will expire. So that is the main thing. The main thing that separates people that are crushing it with Meta versus people that are struggling is that most people, they will just launch a handful of ads and then they'll, you know, they wonder what's going on. But if you do this, if you make a point to actually launch ads frequently— I tell my students to launch ads every single week. So every Monday you will see me kind of jokingly saying on Meta, and on X, hey, it's Monday, refresh your creatives, then that will allow your campaigns to perform for a long time because you're always riding the wave of new ads that are up and coming. So that's what separates people that are struggling in the Meta ads platform versus people that are crushing. So when you're running ads to your offer, but here's the thing, you don't need to launch 2,000 ads. You don't need to launch 1,500 ads. Because that requires a team, right? Both people that I mentioned, Hormozi, my clients, this launch that we did back in January, they all have creative teams. Like, they all have either people doing their ads or filming videos or editing and whatnot. We do help a little bit with that to our clients as well. But the point is that with AI, things are so much easier. They're so much easier to actually refresh your creatives and to actually be launching new ads. Because when I talk about new ads and new creatives, You don't need to reinvent the wheel every single time. That's the good news. If you're running a lot of video ads, for example, you can make a couple tweaks to these ads. You can change the copy, you can change the headline, you can add emojis. For image ads, for example, I tell my students to just vary the design a little bit. Now, another thing that is really, really important that not a lot of people do is that with Andromeda— let me actually go back to the iPad real quick so I can mention this because I think it's also really important— with Andromeda, What's happening is that most people launch only one kind of ad, right? They might use AI ads, or they might use talking head videos, or they might use, you know, ugly ads. I'm getting kind of well known for, you know, the ugly ads method or whatever. But, but here's what happens. The way that it works right now with Andromeda is that Andromeda will actually look at your ads And then they will put you into a bucket. This is a bucket, by the way, of people that will respond to these type of ads. Now guess what happens if you keep on launching the same ad over and over again, right? You will get pigeonholed by Andromeda. So your creative fatigue will set in a lot faster. So the same people, it doesn't matter how big your audience is, again, the same people will see the the same ads over and over again. And this happens specifically since the latest Andromeda update. So how do we remediate this? Well, now what we do is we do the following. Whenever we're launching new ads, we do this, right? So let's say that we launch ad type number 1, which could be like, I don't know, talking head reels. So the same thing happens, right? Andromeda, read these ads. And they'll put you into this bucket, right? But here's the thing, then we might run another kind of ad, like a meme ad, right, which I'm a big fan of. And I just created a video on how to create meme ads that work really well. So in this case, same thing happens, but Andromeda now will read these ads, and they'll put you into another bucket, right? And then let's say, I don't know, let's do a triangle now. That we, that we do reel ads, which is another really nice type of ad that I like to, that I like to create and like to launch. Same thing, Andromeda will read and will put you into another bucket. So in a nutshell, you are basically riding the wave, as I mentioned. And then you're targeting all of these different people that might be in different, you know, awareness stages and all that. I'm not going to go into that in this video. But That's what's happening with Andromeda right now at the time of recording this video, right? So as you know, Meta can change tomorrow for all we know. With that being said, that's what separates big advertising teams and people that are crushing it from the rest of the advertisers that are struggling. So if you're struggling with your ads, if you have something that maybe worked a couple years before but now it's not working for whatever reason, or you try to launch the same ads over and over again and you try to, you try to, you know, just ride the wave of old ads, that might be, that might be one of the reasons as to why your campaigns are not performing. So make a point to refresh your creatives at least once a week. When we're scaling with students and clients, we also tell them to, to go, you know, to launch ads more frequently. We might be launching ads every single day for some clients. We might be launching ads, you know, twice a week. In my case, I— on some of my offers, I launch ads every single day. But again, with AI, it's so much easier to put together these ads for you so you can create a lot of creative variety. I'm going to leave a couple of links around this video, like my 2-campaign method, which allows you to have a creative testing campaign and then a creative scaling campaign. It's so important that you're always testing new creatives if you want to keep your campaigns performing for a long time. And then I'm also gonna put a link somewhere around here for my Andromeda Creatives workshop, which is a workshop that I did for my students a couple weeks ago showing them how they can add creative variety to their campaigns, especially in their scaling campaigns, okay? So I hope that this is helpful. If you have any questions, any comments, let me know. Click like, subscribe, leave a comment, leave a share, or whatever it is that you happen to be watching this video. I'm going to put a couple resources for you somewhere around this video so that you can click them, and I hope that this is helpful. I'll see you really, really soon. Bye-bye.
