The thank-you page after purchase is wasted space. Put the product itself there instead: embed the first video lesson, add a download button, or give instant access. Buyers start using it immediately, refunds drop, and you don't need to change traffic or checkout.

Your thank you page is the one page every buyer is guaranteed to see, and most marketers do almost nothing with it. They put up a simple confirmation message, tell people to check their email, and that's basically the end of the experience. The buyer leaves the page, goes back to their day, and maybe later they open the delivery email, maybe they don't. By the time they actually get to the product, a lot of that buying momentum is already gone. That's why I think the thank you page should do something much more important. It should get the buyer into the product immediately. The first thing they should see on that page page is not a message telling them where to go next. It should be the thing they just bought, or at least the fastest possible path into it. If it's a video course, put the first training right there on the page so they can start watching right away. If it's a PDF or an ebook, the download button should be front and center. If it's templates or resources, give them direct access without making them hunt for anything. The easier it is to get started, the better. That matters for a few reasons. The faster people consume what they bought, the less likely they are to refund. The faster they get into it, the faster they can get a result. And once they start getting value, trust goes up fast. That's what makes the thank you page so important. It's not just a confirmation page, it's the first moment where the buyer actually starts experiencing what they paid for. So if your thank you page is still just saying thanks and telling people to check their email, that's probably one of the easiest fixes you can make. The goal is simple: do not make them wait. Get them into the product right away. Same traffic, same product, same checkout page, just one extra add-on that makes the purchase easier to implement. So if you do not have an SOP order bump yet, this is one of the fastest wins you can add.
