Hernan Vazquez says don't tweak your sales page until you have at least 100 visitors, preferably 200. Below that, conversion rates are just noise. Once you hit that threshold, above 5% conversion is winning, 3-5% is workable, and below 3% means your offer or messaging is broken.

People come to me all the time and say, Hernan, my funnel isn't working. The first thing I ask is how many people actually hit the sales page? And most of the time, the number is way too low. 30 visitors, 50, maybe 100 over a week. That's not enough data to optimize anything. At that point, you're usually reacting to noise. So my rule is simple. I don't change the funnel until I've seen at least 100 sales page visitors, and sometimes I want closer to 200. Before that, the conversion rate doesn't tell you much. So instead of changing the headline, tweaking the price, or redesigning the page too early, I'd rather just keep feeding it traffic. Then once you have real data, you can make a real decision. Above 5%, you probably have a winner. Between 3% and 5%, you likely have something workable. Below 3%, you may have a bigger problem with the offer or the message. That's the mistake I see all the time. People rebuild the whole funnel before they've even given it enough traffic to tell the truth.
