Cat Constipation 101

I'm a pet longevity specialist, and this video is dedicated to my cat-in-law Gus. First off, if you have a fat constipated cat, make them thin. Every extra ounce of abdominal fat will come back to bite you in the ass on this deal. Secondly, wet food is your friend for a constipated cat. Because it contains not just a little extra water, but many times sugar as a preservative. Both of those things will lubricate your kitty's intestines up. Third, another great intestinal lubricant is olive oil. Cheap, safe, and effective, so just a couple of drops on every meal your cat eats. Fourth, a human product called Miralax will suck water into your kitty's intestines and make it easier for them to poop. Fifth, pain relief, because sometimes being constipated really hurts.
