Well, hey you guys and welcome. I'm the Longevity Vet and today I'm going to answer a very important question for your pets and that is how often should we feed them for optimal health? The answer might surprise you. I'm going to talk quickly because my golden retriever puppy Annabelle is out back and for her the optimum number of meals ranges somewhere between 10 and 20. But science tells us that the optimum number of meals to keep your pet healthy is one per day. The Dog Aging Project has proven pretty conclusively that dogs fed just once a day are healthier in several different ways than dogs fed more frequently. Why? We think in large part it's just like the time-restricted feeding in us humans, where you and I are healthiest if we compress our feeding windows into just 6 or 8 hours a day instead of 12 to 14 hours a day. Listen, I'm the Longevity Vet, and this stuff matters to me. I run a website called www.helpingpetslivelonger.com and I do free longevity strategy sessions 4 days a week. I'll put a link in the comments below. But we're all in this together, guys, and I will help you if I can. So reach out to me. Have a great day and we'll talk to you soon.
