The Single Best Way to Reduce Your Pet’s Joint Pain @ TheLongevityVet

Dr. Kevin Toman explains why glucosamine-chondroitin doesn't work for pet joint pain and recommends undenatured type II collagen (UC-II) instead. Research shows glucosamine is no better than placebo, while UC-II reduced knee pain better than NSAIDs in human studies. Weight loss, CBD, and fish oil also help.

Well, hey you guys, and welcome back to helpingpetslivelonger.com. I'm Dr. Kevin Toman Toman. I'm glad you're here. Today we're going to talk about the single best way to reduce your pet's pain without drugs, and that's with our natural supplement, Transcend. Before we do though, let me tell you what does not work to reduce your pet's joint pain, and that sadly is glucosamine chondroitin. Listen, I sold glucosamine and chondroitin products for years in my veterinary clinics, but studies over the last 5 years or so have proven conclusively that gluco— excuse me, glucosamine chondroitin products simply are not effective. They do not work any better than placebo in reducing our pets' joint pain. So buyer beware. What does work to help improve joint pain in both humans and pets? Well, CBD works, fish oil works, of course weight loss works, but the single most studied natural ingredient, the single most proven natural ingredient in reducing our pet's joint pain is called undenatured type 2 collagen or UC2, and that is the active ingredient in our Transcend. The way UC2 works to reduce pain is by reducing the local immune response around an irritated joint, and by reducing that immune response, we effectively eliminate pain and inflammation both. In fact, there was a recent study in humans that showed the use of UC-II was more effective than nonsteroidal pain relief in relieving human knee pain. Can you imagine that? The other thing that's great about our Transcend capsules is that they are chicken flavored. And so if your pet is picky around pills, you can simply twist the capsule halves open and dump the powder inside onto their diet. And I've never had a pet refuse those. So at the end of the day, if you have an arthritic pet, my strong recommendation is forget about glucosamine, use CBD, use fish oil, but especially use Transcend. And if you have any questions about this, please reach out to me via email at Dr. Kevin Toman, @thelongevityvet.com. It's just D-R-K-E-V-I-N @thelongevityvet.com. We are all in this together, and I will help you if I can. Thanks again for visiting helpingpetslivelonger.com, and I'll talk to you soon.
