Well, hey you guys, and welcome. I'm the Longevity Vet, and if your pet has bad breath, you should know it's not just a problem when they're trying to snuggle with you. It's killing them, and here's why. If your pet has bad breath, by definition they have periodontal disease, and that periodontal disease creates chronic inflammation in their mouth, which not only can create daily pain but also can shorten their life. The other thing you should understand is that the bacteria from a pet's mouth don't stay in their mouth. They get into the general circulation and love nothing more than to settle into the heart where they can create a heart murmur, or in the urinary tract where they can create both urinary tract infections and kidney disease. So if your pet has bad breath, the best way to save their life is to schedule an anesthetic dental with your veterinarian. This is really important, you guys. We're all in this together. I'm the Longevity Vet, or Dr. Kevin. I run helpingpetslivelonger.com, and I do free longevity sessions 4 days a week. I'll drop the link in the comments below, but if you have any questions at all, please reach out to me, and I will help you solve them.
