Every conversation is an opportunity. You have an opportunity to engage and connect and learn about someone and have someone learn about you. Don't practice these tips for the first time with your boss or a VIP. Practice them with a stranger. Go talk to an Uber driver or a Lyft driver. That way you have lots of low-pressure practice.
