In this conversational YouTube segment, Vanessa Van Edwards and her co‑host Cora share a curated list of Vanessa’s favorite products and a book for May 2026. Vanessa begins by recommending a superfood, dairy‑free coffee creamer that makes her coffee creamy without dairy. She then talks about a Wild Roman skincare set she bought for her husband, praising its scent and texture, and credits her friend Sahil Bloom for the recommendation. Next, she highlights portable protein snacks she packs for flights, describing both salty and sweet options that provide quick energy. Vanessa also showcases Elevate’s silent, minimalist jewelry, noting its suitability for video work and even sleep. She expresses long‑term love for ILIA’s clean‑beauty mascara (used for four years) and a cute, camera‑friendly sunscreen she keeps in her purse and car. Finally, she recommends her friend Steve Kamm’s book, “How to Try Again and Again,” as a guide for navigating personal and professional change, sharing his own story of transitions. Throughout, the tone is informal, enthusiastic, and personal, with occasional playful banter about ASMR and body‑language reading.
Summer is here. It's time for all of my favorite things. Let's get going.
First up, I love this superfood. I cannot get enough. I also am dairy-free, and so this is a very, very delicious, delicious way to make my coffee creamy and milky without the creamy and milky. Next up, okay, so I wanted to get my husband a bunch of skincare products because I wanna keep him looking good. I quickly got him this bad boy from Wild Roman.
Is that ASMR?
And then I stole it from him. It smells so good and it is so soft and so creamy. This is by my friend Sahil Bloom. Thanks, Sahil, for this amazing, amazing set. Next one, I'm snacking all the time. I'm a big snacker. I'm on planes all the time. I literally pack these in my suitcase as my go-to. This is protein. When my brain is like, "Mrr, mrr," and I need protein fast and salty, mm, so good. And this is like, little sweet, but it's a smart sweet. Hit the spot. I need them on an airplane. Next up, just put them in. No pressure, no pressure, Cora.
Okay, I'm having you do it. I'm like actually so scared. Con of working for a body language expert: she can read your body language. Ta-da!
Elevate. They're so cute. They're actually pretty silent, and I'm on video a lot, so I can't have really clanky jewelry. And I could probably wear them to sleep. I could probably wear them to sleep. Instantly elevates a look. Okay, coming up next. I am obsessed with ILIA. Their stuff is fabulous. It's clean. It looks so good. I have used their mascara for probably 4 years. Them in my airplane bag. I have them in my makeup bag. I have them in my purse. Lasts forever. How cute is this container? Is the cutest sunscreen I've ever seen. I keep one of these in my purse and my car. So good on camera. Sometimes I use this as the base underneath my makeup. And last but certainly not least, this is my dear friend Steve Kamm's book and I'm reading it this month and it's How to Try Again and Again: An Approachable Guide to Navigating Chaos and Making Change That Sticks. I've known Steve for probably almost a decade and I have watched him go through some major life and career transitions. He signed a book deal and then his life completely changed. He got divorced, his business completely changed, and he had to rewrite the book that he was writing and it is incredible. So if you're dealing with change or transition, Steve's your guy. He's also a wonderful human.
Okay, that's it. Those are all my favorite things for May.
