Have you ever noticed when you tell someone to smile for a picture, or if you're a wedding photographer, you might have seen this a lot. And you say smile and people go. And they show the bottom of their face. This is because it's not real. And so people go, oh, just show teeth. And so it doesn't go up here. They actually activate down. So a real tip off that someone is giving a fake smile is when they lower lip smile. Or if you are trying to get someone to take a good photograph, like you're trying to get your partner to smile for the holiday card. You're trying to get your kids to smile and they go like that. The best thing you can do is coach them. No, no. Reach up into your upper cheeks. Make your upper cheeks lift up. That's what happens in a real smile. And then you can coach them out of this to this. Right? That's the difference. It's not this. It's all the way up here. That's my gift to you for all your future family photos.
