I'm very addicted to the reality show the Bachelor and the Bachelorette, and my favorite part is trying to guess who's gonna win or lose. The reason is because micro expressions always give away people's true emotions. And I found a great clip from an old season of the Bachelorette. This is when one of the Bachelors is talking to the Bachelorette and he wants to tell her that he is a race car driver. And this is a problem because her fiance died in a race car accident. And he asks her, so are you okay with this? And she says, oh, yeah, totally. Okay, but I want you to watch for the contempt micro expression. Here's that contempt microexpression I know about. You see that contempt? As she was saying that she was okay with it, she actually flashed the contempt micro expression. He never addressed that contempt. He let it go, and that formed this little seed of negativity that she couldn't get over. And of course, he didn't end up winning.
