A short compilation video (21 minutes) collecting business and entrepreneurship advice. The excerpts emphasize persistence and resilience ("Don't give up"), cultivating a conscious resilience/mental-wellbeing framework, avoiding negative media and social media, staying positive and inspired, and balancing the common "work a million hours" startup ethos with well-being. The clip also touches on fundraising and that raising more money isn’t the only path to success. Further chunks will likely add more distinct pieces of advice and examples.
Don't give up, don't give up. Do whatever you can to be successful. That is I think the key factor for success as an entrepreneur.
You have to stay positive. You got to stay plugged in and inspired. So the first piece of advice I give people is stop reading the headlines, stay away from social media.
Be thoughtful about your mental game and actually be conscious about understanding a resilience framework that you can use that works for you. That counter or that balances the typical entrepreneurial advice, which is work a million.
Hours a week and.
Raise more money. Have. There's more to it than that. And the word I use is well being. And how do you balance that? A little bit.
A couple of things. So, you know, trust your gut on, on whatever the situation is. I think in a lot of cases for entrepreneurs, and I struggle with this sometimes is, is kind of waiting and trying to make something perfect. So you're going to launch something, you want to wait for it to be perfect. And I think the advice is don't worry about things being perfect. Just start, try to experiment more, especially with AI coming in the way that it is. We're going through that transition. So much is changing and is about to change. The way that you built a business five or 10 years ago is very different than the way that you build a business today.
