A successful founder explains why he keeps working despite being able to retire. He loves building and seeing results, has found a lifestyle balance with family and hobbies, and finds it easier to grow what he has than start from scratch.
You look like a very young guy, but I know you're already at the point in your career where you can sell and basically retire, but you're not doing that. Why keep going with this business instead.
Of just exiting and to do what? There are different type of business people. I have a bunch of friends who actually build and sold and every two, three years they get in a different business. And it's amazing. Some people love it and do it. I think I. First of all, we enjoy it like because we actually build projects, we achieve results and it's just kind of become, become a lifestyle especially. I truly believe that we have a bal in life. Like I personally have a balance in life. So I do still have time to do my other little hobbies. I love photography. I love, I'm a soccer junkie, so I, I don't miss big tournaments. So. And, and, and I, I believe I built a pretty good balance between family, business, hobbies, friends, and you know, the, the, the, the risk comes from not knowing what you're doing. And so I know what I do and I believe I can build it even more. And it's going to be easier for me to build this business further than focus or start new, completely new business. That will take me some time.
Or retiring, it sounds like retiring.
Retiring. Okay. No, I don't. That's definitely not on my radar. I mean, I love to go on the vacations and. But after three days I get bored, right. So I got to do something.
