Don Miller told the host that removing your ego reveals your natural talents and improves performance. The lesson came up again during a drive in Nashville after they recorded an interview, and Miller kept circling back to it as something that matters.
It was in Nashville that I had the opportunity to spend a half day with Don Miller, maybe even more than that. After the interview on becoming self made, we went for a drive around. He shared something on the interview, but in different perspectives throughout the day. The necessity to diminish our egos and when our ego is ripped out of us, you really discover where your true natural talents are and you can perform much better. Ego is often the barrier to success is what I learned from Don Miller. It's a fascinating interview from a fascinating man. I hope you enjoy the episode.
