Join a group where you're the worst player, not the best. You'll push harder to keep up, while being the top dog breeds complacency. Everyone has something to offer, so skip the elite circles and find people hungry to grow.

The other realization is everyone, every human being has something to contribute. Everyone is smart. So a mastermind does not have to be what we perceive to be notable names, C.S. Lewis, J.R. I wonder if those people became those notable names after the mastermind and the mastermind elevated them. Right. So I think the mistake for some entrepreneurs is like, well, if I wanna be successful and in a group that inspires and supports me, I gotta be in a group that's already this wildly successful group. And there is value to being the worst player on the court because you have to elevate your game. Right. And there's a risk to being the best player on the court 'cause you may devalue your game or play down.
