Runa Bouis works on decentralized alternatives to big tech through the Clementina Foundation Institute and Corentina Foundation. Holochain is one piece of a broader tech stack, while Holo lets people host services for each other and earn money from unused computing power. The goal is to replace intermediaries like banks and platform owners.

I want to say that a part of my passion at the moment is working with this Clementina Foundation Institute because what these people are doing are creating an alternative to the system that we have, to the infrastructure, financial infrastructure, and to companies like Amazon and Facebook. And that to me excites me to know, and if we could have same or better services without having the middle person like Facebook or Amazon or Apple. So that's why I'm putting part of my energy and effort into that, because on a soul level for me, that feeds me like nothing else, because if I can be a part of fostering that, I really feel that that is the biggest impact that I can have. You're talking about Holochain? Yeah, Holochain is one product, one technology out of a whole technology stack that we will have in Corentina Foundation. And we just started with these two. One, the other one is, is Holo, which is cloud computing hosting service that is allowing us, the individuals, to host our own services and host each other and getting paid for it. So if you have extra power or storage that you are not using and I need it, I can buy that from you and you pay me for it. Right, she distributed it. There's no bank, there's no middle person. So that's how I'm hoping we can outsmart Bezos and guys like that.
