These are the seven most important books that anyone should read before the age of 30. So I want to show you something really curious over here. What you're seeing here is the most valuable real estate in my entire apartment. This is a bookshelf that I keep in my room. And the books on this bookshelf are books that I grew up with. I started reading many of these books when I was 12 years old. Look at how worn out this one is. How to have a Superpower memory. Or this one, which is how to win friends and influence people. I confess, I was 13 years old, and I stole this from a library. And I read this book eight times because I had no friends. And I wanted to learn how all of these books over here changed my life. Some of them I read 30 years ago. But I kept these books as well as I could in honor of the wisdom and the teachers here. What I want to do, though, is I want to show you the top seven books that I believe anyone should read before the age of 30. So if you. If you look at this bookshelf, you'll notice that two authors stand out more than anyone else. And they are Neale Donald Walsh, who wrote the Conversations with God series, and Jose Silva, who created Silva Mind Control. These were the two authors that had the biggest, most dramatic impact on my life. So let's start with the number one book. The number one book that changed me is Conversations with God, Book one. And this worn out copy here was given to me as a gift by a friend while we were camping in Colorado way back in 1998. Twenty years after reading this book, I reached out to Neil Donald Walsh and I asked him to create a program for mindvalley. And I'm so honored that he did. This book liberated my mind. Book number two is Silva Mind Control by Jose Silva. Now, unfortunately, my original copy of that book, which dated back to 1977, I left in the backseat of a plane and. And I lost it for good. But this is what the book looks like on Amazon. Fast forward 30 years after I first picked up Silva. Mind Control. The program is now the number one program on Mindvalley. And I'm honored to have been asked by Jose Silva's family to take his work further and be the new face of the Silva method. Sadly, Jose Silva died in 1999. But if you want to read one book by Jose Silva, start with this book. Now, book number three is the Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot. The book gives you a new way of understanding reality, and it casts your mind Wide open. Book number four is the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Now, legend has it that this was the book that actually inspired the movie the Secret. And this book has has shifted my worldview in so many deep ways. Highly recommend it. Book number five. Okay, this one I got from my dad. That's my dad's name, V. Mohan. I read this book when I was 14 years old and this book shaped me as a teenager. I read and reread this book. You can see how thick it is. This book did more for me than probably all the school textbooks I was forced to learn combined. I don't know why this isn't taught in schools. Book number six is Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich. This book is so dog ear because there's so much wisdom there. I've read this book perhaps five times. I started reading this book when I decided to venture out and be an entrepreneur. And this book helped me build my company. It also helped me deal with the inevitable failures that you're going to go through if you decide to go on an entrepreneurial journey. This book gives you the mindset you need to build your legacy. And finally, book number seven. You can't see the COVID because it's so old. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I read this book maybe seven times before I was 18, partially because I had no life. But also this book is so mesmerizing. The storytelling, the ideas are powerful. This book really helped me, which is why I read this book every year as a teenager. And by the time I was 18, I used the techniques in this book to win an election at high school and become student council president. And so this book really did change my life. These seven books I recommend everyone reads before their 30th birthday. Go ahead and comment below if you have perhaps a book that changed your life. Share, share it in the comments and share this video with anyone you think who might find this interesting.
