Miki Agrawal explains how Tushy, a bidet brand, used irreverent humor and a memorable character to build a viral video with over 50 million views. The strategy combined edutainment with relentless brand repetition to turn a product nobody talked about into a household name.

I'm an.
Humor in branding is pretty much everything I would say.
Edutainment is a word I love a marriage of educational and entertainment, and it's really using humor to explain the new product. I think edutaining videos just make the learning process of learning something new, like a bidet, for example, fun. And not just like, oh, here's just like, toilet device.
It's like, oh, my God, this is.
The funniest video I've seen in the bathroom.
It's uncomfortable.
It's like this weird asshole character talking about this and kind of being an asshole to people. It's just funny. There's a term in Facebook or, you know, the Facebook term called thumb stopping.
So, you know, you're scrolling and scrolling.
And scrolling and what makes it thumb stopping? Like, what's. What makes it arresting, show stopping. For you to actually, like, stop and look and get your attention, be able.
To be like, whoa, there's this like, butt costume with this. But talking like, let me just take a look. And again, I want to explain what it is, how it works, and why.
You need it in a really fun, funny way.
Yeah, I mean, this video went viral.
With over 50 million views across all of our platforms to date. And again, it's an evergreen video that really, really, really clearly explains the pain point. Like, what is the problem that we're solving? How is tushy solving the problem? How does it work? How does it install on the toilet? What are the value propos? And delivered in a fun, funny, silly, inspiring way.
Write these down. Does it explain the problem in a funny way? Does it show how your product is a real solution to said problem in a funny way? Does it explain how it works in a funny way? Does it say the name of the company several times?
Because repetition of the brand name is key.
And so I highly recommend you use the brand name in a funny way to as many times as possible so people could remember it. You know, we talk about how, like, Kleenex and Q tip are literally brand names. And you say, can I get a Kleenex? I get a Q tip. Like, instead of saying, can I get a tissue or can I get like a cotton swab? Like, you actually say the brand name.
Like, we want tushy to be the word for bidet.
Oh, do you want. Are you going to. I'm going to go tushy real quick.
I'll be right back, you know.
Oh, you have a tushy. I have a tushy. Like, we, you know, like, I just want it to be a noun, a verb, an adjective.
All of it.
So if you're interested in knowing more about how I established multiple hundred million.
Dollar businesses on simple ideas that got.
Everyone talking, and I mean everyone, sign.
