So recently someone wrote to me and said, vishen, I can't take you seriously on your videos because of those cheap ass watches that you buy. That person said, grow up man, get an expensive watch. No one's gonna take you seriously with those hundred dollar bullshit watches. Now that guy is right about one thing. These watches are a hundred dollars I simply would never bother to spend. And I never have spent more than a thousand dollars on a watch. Even the car I drive is seven years old and I bought it seven second hand. I can afford any car I want, but I would never spend money on an expensive car because again, I don't give a fuck. And today we're going to talk about why. We're going to talk about chapter four of the book. So in the Buddha and the Badass, in chapter four, I talk about a concept called becoming unfuck withable. And unfuck withable means you are not falling prey to conventional society's demands of who you should be, what you should buy, and how you should express yourself. You end up creating your own unique picture of how you want to show up in life. And when you start living like this, two things happens. Number one, you don't give a damn about people who judge you or criticize you. And number two, you become an original. You live life on your own terms. Now the guy who said that no one can take me seriously because I wear cheap watches, he misses a point. Most people don't really care about how expensive your watch is or how fancy your car is. So what do you want to do? Well, the art of being unfuckwithable means to create an original picture of your life. Now what you're seeing here is a group vision board. Everybody who joins mindvalley, I insist that they go deep into crafting an original vision for their lives. Now what's going on over here? Let's zoom in into some of this. What's going on over here is everyone is answering a series of questions. What experiences do I want want to have in the world? How do I want to grow, to have, to be the man or woman to have these experiences? And if I could be the man or woman with these experiences, who has grown in this way, how do I contribute? You see the same pattern everywhere. This is Tina, her experiences, how she wants to grow, to have these experiences, how she wants to contribute. And everyone is answering the same question. Now what's going on here is that I'm getting people to understand that what truly makes you show up as an individual, what truly makes you Unfuck withable is living your own life with your own goals that come from your heart and not buying into the hype or the advertising or what the media tells you you need to be, do and have. And when you do that, you make a far greater impression on people than a fancy watch or a fancy car or a fancy suit. Think about it. The people who probably impressed you best in life impressed you because they had unique experiences. Maybe they were hiking the Himalayas. Maybe they have a unique hobby. The people who impressed you most in life are also the people who are growing the most. They take care of their fitness. They take care of their mind. They show up with an attitude of positivity. And the people who impress you the most are probably people who are contributing to the world. They are not running some company designed to sell you most shit you don't need. They are contributing in a positive way to make humanity better off. Those three things, experiences, growth, contribution. Measure yourself on that. I don't give a damn about fancy watches or fancy cars or fancy objects. And neither should you. That's chapter four of the Buddha and the Badass. Begin unwickable.
