To further enhance women's ability to be able to read non verbal signals better than their male counterparts, we set up an estate agency where men and women would come in and ask for brochures on a property. Now, the person behind the counter would crouch down to get the brochure and hand it to the person. But when they came up, it was a different person. So we wanted to see how sensitive men and women are noticing not only is it a different person, but it's a different sex. These brain tests went even further to demonstrate when male brain people are talking, men their hearing is switched off. When female brain people are talking, their hearing is switched on. Which means in practical terms, female brain people can speak and listen at the same time. So women can talk and listen at the same time. And they can do it on several unrelated topics. The typical male brain person man does one thing at a time. We call this monotracking. And this is the secret to to persuading, motivating and convincing malebrained people. Men. So if you want to persuade men to do what you want and you're a woman, give him one thing at a time. When men are talking with other men, they take turns because they're mono tracking. So if a man's talking, you want to be convincing, let him have his turn. Reverse is true. If you're a man, you want to persuade a woman or group of women, don't wait for your turn. There is no turn with women. Just start talking and they'll say, hey, he's with us, he's participating. He won't hear much at the time because he can't do both. But they're going to love the guy. And if you're a woman, don't expect men to notice small details about anything. So if you've got a new hairstyle or a new dress, don't expect him to notice them. Men are excellent at seeing the big picture of how things work, but they're not much good on fine detail. And to be successful with men, give them one thing at a time, let them have their turn. If you're a man. To be successful with women, participate in the conversation and don't lie to women. She's two to three times better at reading lines than you are. So don't lie to her face, call her on the phone.
