The $100 million business. A wonderful story about poop. So in 2013 I developed an extreme hyperthyroid condition which actually led me to poop up to eight times a day. And it got to a point where it was so painful to just rub and rub. Cause they were not clean poops. They were like messy watery ish poops. And it was just like ugh, so uncomfortable. I had to eventually jump, jump in the shower every time and just tend to my really raw and sensitive bottom. Eventually my husband felt so sorry for me that he got me a crappy bidet product which changed my life. And it was then and there that I realized that I wanted to make the best in class most modern designer beautiful bidet for the American market. So what many people don't realize is your struggles don't hold you back. They actually propel you towards it and make the success. Have you ever thought to yourself, ugh, if I only had this thing or this service, then my life would be so different, so much better. Well what if that thing doesn't exist? That is how hundred million dollar ideas are born in the space between your stress, pain, discomfort, annoyance. When you see what is missing in the world and choose to create it yourself, magic happens. But before starting a you need to ask yourself a few questions. One of them is, am I passionate about the problem I'm trying to solve? Am I ready to spend the next 10 years dedicating my life to this project? I asked myself that same question too. Can I be passionate about this for a really long time? And for Tushy, the answer was heck yes. I can be passionate about solving my painful butt issues. I can be really passionate about saving 50, 15 million trees from getting flushed down the toilet. I can be passionate about supporting the global sanitation crisis that is affecting over 3 billion people on the planet. To date, we have helped 60,000 families gain access to clean toilets in India. And we are not going to stop until that number is in the millions. We've also to date helped 2 million trees from getting flushed down the toilet. And I no longer have a chapped bottom.
