A short transcript excerpt from a YouTube conversation about the role of visualization in physical healing and goal achievement. Speaker B describes using vivid future-self visualization (imagining a fully healed ankle and running) which they believe accelerated their recovery; Speaker A notes the body's inability to distinguish imagination from reality.
You had a really tough injury. Can you tell us like what you were doing that not only got you through that you didn't bounce back, you bounced forward, you were thriving.
What accelerates your own healing is visualizing yourself as being perfectly healed. I just sit there laying down with my boot kicked up. I'd be thinking about myself running, sprinting with a fully healed ankle, nothing wrong with it. And I do believe that helped me heal because I did heal very fast. And I'm a big believer in becoming your future, pulling your future into the present moment. I feel like that really accelerates your own goals and if you can become what you want to be in this moment, then it just raises your own frequencies up.
Because our body is so objective, it doesn't know the difference between imagination and reality.
Even if you're not it and you think like it, your energy naturally raises and you attract things that lead to that goal.
