I guess it's a little bit early in the U.S. libby from Estonia. So I happen to be taking this call from my, my home here in Estonia. And Ajit Nawalka, who is the co founder of Mindvalley Certifications. Ajit, turn on your camera for a second and let it and let the group know where in the world you're at.
Hello, hello, hello, everyone. I'm coming in right now from San Diego. That's where I am right now. So, yep, that's where I am. But I live in Austin, Texas. So excited to see everybody here.
So this is Ajit, originally from India, now from Texas. Hence the hat.
Of course. You got a sport, so.
Oh, I love that hat, Ajit. Nice, nice business gear there. Okay, so I want to start, I want to start today's presentation with, with a story on, on why what we're doing here with Certified Business Coach is something that truly is, is important to me. So Before I started Mindvalley, I was a Vice President of Technology Sales for a.com in Silicon Valley. And I was going through a lot of stress. I was going through a lot of burnout. The company that I worked for, when I joined the company, it was a startup. It wasn't my company was someone else's company, but it was a startup. And when I joined, it was operating from the founder's bedroom. Two years later, the company had 200 employees and offices around the United States. But when a company is growing that fast, from 0 to 200 in two years, right, there is a lot of stress, a lot of chaos. And what happened was in the midst of that, I burnt out. I decided to take a meditation class from the Silver Method. And it changed me. It completely transformed the way I showed up at work. So what did I decide to do next? I decided to become a certified coach. I decided that I wanted to have more meaning in my life. I wanted to give back. This. This class have completely transformed me. I was doing better at work. My salary had gone up. If you read my book, I talk about how after doing the silver class, I got four promotions in three months. I went from a junior sales intern, basically with no experience in sales, to vice president of sales in four months. And this was dazzling to everyone else in the company. So I stayed at the company for 18 months. And then I felt this longing that I wanted to do something that really fulfilled me. Because while I was working for this company, I just felt bored. I felt that mission was missing, purpose was missing. I felt I had the money, but something else wasn't quite right. And I bet you guys know this feeling as well. Sometimes the universe will give you a calling. It will break something in your life to get you to step up into a new version of who you are meant to be. You know, I grew up in. In. In Hindu culture, and in. In the Hindu culture, they are the three gods. Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. And these gods represent creation, preservation, and destruction. In Hindu culture, there's this idea that even after you create something, it's preserved for a while, and then a great destruction has to occur so that you are able to recreate yourself anew. The universe, for example, starts from the Big Bang, expands, and then in ancient Hindu mythology, the universe will shrink and destroy itself before another Big bang occurs. Creation, preservation, destruction. So when I went through this period in my life when I suddenly felt, I can't work for this company anymore, this trust was too great. The meaning was missing. I was not clicking with. With the other people in the office. I knew that I was going through in life what is called the beautiful destruction, the destruction of an old way of life for something new to enter. Now, what I sought most was meaning, purpose. My mom was a school teacher, so I wanted to be in a field where I could teach, I could educate, just like someone had taught me how to meditate. And that had transformed my life. I decided I wanted to teach meditation. So what did I do? I went and I put down what in that time was around $12,000 in today's money. And I got myself certified as a meditation coach. And that was the seed that became Mindvalley from becoming that meditation coach. Step by step by step by step by step, the wheel started Turning and eventually, this website that I registered to put up my. My coaching services, right? Weekends in New York, come and learn meditation with this dude called Vision. That little website called mindvalley grew into the. The Mind, Body, Spirit empire that we have today. So the first lesson I want to pay attention to is, is there something in your life right now that you feel is an itch that maybe needs a little bit more attention? Because there's a meaning in that itch, right? That itch could be a beautiful destruction. It doesn't mean you leave your job, but it could mean that you step into a new type, a new emerging version of yourself that can transform your job, or you step into a new career that can transform your life. Now, I want to share with you a picture which is really, really interesting. You know, what mindvalley looks like today. But I want to show you one of the earliest ever mindvalley pictures that most people have never actually seen. Ajit, can you confirm if you can see these slides on my screen right now?
I can. Okay, everybody can see.
So this picture is one of the earliest mindvalley pictures. When I got certified as a meditation coach. That is a room in the Holiday Inn in New York City in 2003, where I was teaching my meditation classes. I had no assistance. So everyone would show up. I would register them on my. My Toshiba laptop, and then I would teach the class. No breaks, because I had didn't have money for an assistant. And 20 people would show up. And if I was lucky, at the end of two days, I would make $3,000. Now, this was pretty good. It was really good money. And so because it was good money, what happened was when I moved back to Malaysia, which is the country I was born in, I continued while I was building up mindvalley, which at that point was a web development company, I continued being a coach. I would travel to London or New York every three months and teach a class, and I would take home $3,000. And I did this for five years. Now, if you're doing the math right now, you'll be thinking 3,000. That's three. That's 12,000 a year. Vision that. How did you survive on that? Well, let me tell you. You lived in Malaysia in 2003. $12,000 a year is a lot of money, right? Malaysia was a developing country. It was a. A ton of money. And I was really happy. And I loved my job because I got to change these lives. Until one day, this man stepped into my life. So get this. I was teaching meditation but it was, it was one of two different streams of income I had. The other stream of income was I had Mindvalley, which sites for leading authors. We were really good at advertising on Google Adwords, at building websites, at gathering user testimonials, at writing newsletters. And Bob Proctor was one of our clients. So I was building his website. He had become famous after the movie the Secret. And I was so honored that he hired Mindvalley to build this website. So one day I was flying to London to teach my class, and Bob Proctor was also teaching a class in London. Except my class was maybe 20 people. His class was thousands of people. So Bob, being such a nice man, he invited me to meet him for lunch. And we met for lunch at a hotel near Baker Street. And at that hotel Bob said, so Vishen, what brings you to London? And I told him passionately, excitedly about this incredible class I was teaching, how it was going to transform the lives of these 20 people, teach them meditation. And he goes, and how much do you make from that? And I said, three grand. And I smiled because to me that was good money for a weekend's work. And he said, okay, how long was your flight from Malaysia to London? And I said, well, you know, with transit and everything, probably 19 hours. And he goes, how long are you going to be here? And I said, I'm going to be staying here maybe for about four days, several days to overcome jet lag, then head back. But I'm going to make $3,000, I'm going to change these 20 people's lives. And Bob goes, vishen, don't you have a one year old son? So this was 2008, my son was one. And I go, yeah. And he goes, so you're leaving your one year old son, you're flying 19 hours one way, then 19 hours back just for $3,000. My God, Vishen, you have to think bigger, son. And I was pissed off. I was thinking, how dare this man tell me that my life is not right? How dare he tells me that I should be thinking bigger. I love what I do. I'm changing these lives. Three grand is a lot of money in my, in my country and all of these other things. And then he asked me another question. For all that work you're putting in for just $3,000, I really hope you're traveling business class. And my heart sank and I explained to him, bob, if I travel business class, I would make, make negative money. So he said, so you're telling me you're flying coach for 19 hours and I go, yeah. And he said, vishen, I want you to remember this. Ask not are you worthy of your goals? Ask, are your goals worthy of you? And that really hit me. Ask not, are you worthy of your goals? Ask are your goals worthy of you? He said, vishen, you're smart, you're passionate, but you're changing the lives of only 80 people a year. You gotta think bigger now what he said, that quote was so profound to me that if you go to my Facebook page today, go to my Facebook page today. That quote is still the quote on my Facebook page. I put it up in 2008. I never took it down. It's now been what, 15 years? Never changed that quote on my Facebook page. But I went back, I did the class and I quit on Monday. Saturday, Sunday I thought the class, Monday, I quit, I went back to Malaysia and I questioned my life and I tried to think, what can I do to make mindvalley bigger? What can I do to make my career bigger? In that one, it was actually two years. In those two years I signed up for Business Masterminds. I spent $40,000 to join a mastermind where I got to to to interact and connect with entrepreneurs who were doing things way bigger than me. Our business was p maybe a million a year. I got to sit down with guys who were doing 5, 21, even 50 million. And that was a big deal. I read all of the books I could on business. I signed up for seminars, I signed up for coaching. Two years later, I went back into teaching a live event. But this time my live event was a fest. I launched it right off the block, like the very first a Fest in 2010. 250 entrepreneurs gathered. This time it wasn't a hotel, a tiny hotel room. It was a resort in Costa Rica. They weren't paying $349 a ticket. They were paying roughly $5,000 for the experience. Some of the world's most incredible speakers, Lisa Nichols, Srikumar Rao, came and spoke. I got to speak on stage in front of all of these amazing people. I went from teaching a tiny room to 20 people to launching one of the most epic personal growth festivals in the world in 24 months. Because Bob Proctor lit a fire under my ass to make me see that I was trapped in a trap of my own making. The trap of being satisfied with where you are and not realizing your potential to go further. That was one. But the second thing was I realized that I knew jack shit about business. I was hacking it. And that's why for five Years I was pretty much stagnant. Mindvalley was pretty much stagnant. In five years we went from 0 to 1 million. Big freaking deal. Five years. But in the next two years we went from 1 million to 10 million. Then we went from 10 million to 110 million in the subsequent in, in the next 12 years. And that's where we are right now. But it's because I decided that I needed to know what I did not know and learn from the best teachers and mentors. So that's my story. And this is why we decided to start Mindvalley Certified Business Coach. So in Mindvalley launched certifications. The first certifications were Certified Life Coach, Certified Health Coach. And then we, we, we looked at the statistics of who are the people at Mindvalley, right? And the three biggest job titles amongst you guys are Startup Founder, CEO, founder. And then number four is coach. And we thought, well, what do startup founders, CEOs, founders all need? They want to get better at running a business. And what do coaches want? Coaches want to make more money and teach higher level coaching. So we decided with Ajit to create a 16 week immersion for entrepreneurs, leaders and coaches to become a certified business coach. And this is what we're going to talk about. So firstly, if you resonate with that story, that story of Bob Proctor, just add a yes. If you have, if you can resonate where I was right, stagnating, just not being at a level where you know you're not fulfilling your potential, just put in a yes in the chat and look at the number of yeses that come up. So many people resonate to that story and I hope in some way that quote by Bob Proctor hits you the way it hit me as well. Ask not are you worthy of your goals, Ask if your goals are worthy of you. So Certified Business Coach is designed for people who want to go further, further in their career in their business. So firstly, I'm Vishen Lakhiani for those of you who don't know me. And I want to introduce Ajit and I'm going to tell you what this program is about. So Ajit Nawalka, you can see Ajit there. Ajit always spots a hat and I love that about his style. Ajit is my business partner in Mindvalley Certifications. He is probably the greatest trainer of coaches in the world right now. That's why he's my business partner. I like to partner with the smartest people I can find. And when Ajit first prototype Certified Business Coach. Ajit, how many People did you have in that first class?
The first class was 300 people.
And what was the NPS score?
The NPS score has always consistently been over 80. So currently we are at 84. That was the last batch was 84.
And this is what I mean by one of the greatest teachers of coaching. So NPS score is a measure of customer satisfaction on a product. When the iPhone first came out, the NPS score was 82. So NPS is measured from minus 100 to plus 100. Okay, this is another little like business nugget. All great companies use nps. Tesla cars, when they first came out, the NPS score was 95. That's why Tesla became one of the most successful carmakers. The NPS score for certified business coach is 84, higher than the iPhone. That's how satisfied the customers are of it. So once a year we open this up. Ajit is the teacher. And what you go through is a 16 week transformation as a business coach, entrepreneur or founder. Okay? So you also get a certificate, which means you are now licensed to go out there and teach and consult with other companies. So you get to make money from this. Now let me first tell you if this is right for you. Okay? So firstly, if you are already a coach and you're doing life coaching, but you want to increase your hourly rate, business coaching, your hourly rate can go significantly higher, as much as $1,000 per hour. So you increase your value as a coach. Number two, if you are currently looking to start a business, certified business coach is amazing because the first three months of the program, step by step, you learn all of these different patterns on how to engineer business success. Business, as you know, is a betting game. Most businesses are going to fail. But if you know the right tools for planning, for strategy, for marketing, for leadership, your odds of success go up significantly. First three months, you go through a framework that we've used at mindvalley that other successful companies use and you learn all of these business tools in the last month. Month four, you learn how to teach other people these tools. So yes, you can apply to your business, but you can also be a coach. You can also help your friends, you can help companies you're invested in, you can help your, your spouse with their business, you can charge for consulting. Really useful right now. The third thing is if you're already a small business owner and you want to take your small business to new levels, just like I went from 1 million to 10 million in two years after Bob got me that kick in the butt, this is designed to Give you that kick in the butt. And the fourth one is if you're an ambitious employee and you are looking to grow within your company. Okay, so one, coaches. Two, you're looking to become an entrepreneur. Three, you're looking to grow your existing entrepreneurial business. And four, you are working for a company. You don't want to be an entrepreneur, but you want to grow within that company, get a raise, increase your impact. I'd love to get an understanding of how you guys self identify. So put in a 1, 2, 3 or 4, depending on what you feel most applies to you. Okay, so we see, we see ones, we see twos. Awesome, awesome. We see a couple of fours. Looks like a lot of people are, are ones and twos. I'm seeing a lot of threes come in now. That's awesome. That, that's great, guys. So if, if these four things are how you see yourself, this is going to be very useful. Okay. Now what does it mean to become a business coach today? So, Ajit, I'm going to ask you to cover this slide.
Absolutely. To be a really successful business coach, you need to understand how to coach a business without understanding the business industry itself. And this is a common myth that coaching industry has or coaches have sometimes where they go, oh, I have not worked in a particular industry. But you actually need to understand how to coach a person versus to understand the industry. You need to understand the coach consulting model, which is to be able to take a person and be able to coach them and then look at a problem and be able to consult the problem. We'll discover more on that as we go further in this presentation. Basically, that's the idea. I think you skipped slide vision. There's a third pointer in there. Can you go back one slide? Yeah. You want to have a results focused approach. You always want to make sure that the clients are getting results for what they're signing up for. And your model of coaching must adapt to how the world is changing. You all know that the world has changed dramatically just in the past few months and past few years for sure. So your model needs to adapt at that pace as well. Next slide. Awesome.
Okay. And this is just a market opportunity.
So if you look at the market that is available right now, and if you look at any country right now, it's usually small and mid sized companies that are everywhere in the marketplace. And right now, what we looked in 2021 data, the last data set that we have, we had over 5 million businesses that were registered in 2021. Now that number hasn't gone down, it has only gone up. And this is just the US Focused number. And it's. If you look at across the globe, we have many businesses being started right now is that opportunity. But if you really think about it and if you take a second and think about most books that you've read, most programs you may have heard of, most MBAs that you do focus on large companies. They don't actually focus on actual businesses that happen day to day. There are businesses all around us.
Okay, so now let's look at some of the case studies of students who have gone through this. Okay, so these are mindvalley members just like you guys. BMRI spoke about how she was able to get four more clients. And you can, by the way, read hundreds of these stories on our website. Stories.mindvalley.com this person did about 80 hours of pure coaching, added 100k to his monthly income. This is Vladimir Chen from Denmark. This guy, Isaac Charles from the United States said it helped him gain confidence in his abilities even though he had 20 plus years as a CEO, founder and business leader. Austin, this is really crazy. Austin was working in customer support. And as he rose up from customer support to going into marketing, he decided to take this program and he was able to land a $10,000 client. Now, you may be wondering, how could someone so young be charging $10,000 for a client? Well, they're not paying for Austin's brain. They're paying for Austin's ability and training as a coach to guide them through protocols, practices, frameworks that we have trained Austin on. And that's what makes Austin, even though he's super young, able to land a $10,000 deal. You see, you are the translator between these frameworks which come from so many great business processes, including internal processes in mindvalley to companies. And that is what, that's where you're adding value. Now, Natalie Collin, she used this in a different way to step into a transition in her career. So you can do this not just if you want to coach other people, but also if you want to change your career and transition in your career. Francois DeBielle, two paying clients and more on the way. This is mind blowing to me. That's what he said. So Ajit is now going to take you through exactly what you learn and what is covered in this program. These are. Ajit, there are 10 points, right?
Yes, they're about 12 points. Yeah, 12 points.
So these are 12 things that we cover in the program that you want to pay attention to if you are Seeking to build a business, grow a business, or consult a business. Ajit.
So to give a Frame of these 12 points, first, you need to understand that when you walk into an organization, when you're working with an organization, you're working at two levels. Firstly, you're working with human beings, right? Because the people in the organization, they're leaders, they're CEOs, they're founders, they're team members. And this is also why it's so applicable if you're an entrepreneur yourself. Because the first skill that you learn is how do I coach any person through many different dimensions that show up every single day for somebody's life, like mindset, behavior, emotions, and so forth. And then you need to be able to, once you've helped the person, to be able to help them find the problem and then consult that problem. Now, this happens across eight different dimensions that I'm going to cover. But you need to be able to build both the competencies, which is why the foundation of the program relies on. You will learn how to coach a person and then consult the primary problems that a small business encounters. Next slide. And that brings me to the first element that you'll be learning how to coach anybody on, which is communication. You already know communication builds trust. You're able to have a much stronger team, a stronger organization, a stronger ability as a person if you're able to communicate successfully and you're able to build a relationship successfully. We show you in the first part how to communicate, how to coach through communication patterns and communication channels. Next slide. And then comes emotional management. We all operate from our emotions, don't we? Right? We take actions because of whatever's happening for us in the moment. And often we realize because of those actions taken from a place of emotions, sometimes they don't really lead to the desired outcomes that we want to create in our lives and in our businesses. We show you how to manage your emotions and channel them to create a more positive outcome. We also show you how to help somebody else take the same emotional states that might feel like so threatening to them to channel them to create real outcomes in their life. Next slide. And then we work on mindset. I don't have to sell you on the idea of mindset. You're a mindvalley community. You know how powerful good mindset can be. And we show you how to always stay in the state of growth mindset and be able to come up with one of the foundational reasons why businesses and individuals can't get success, which is their own fears, their own limitations that they create. Then we move on to building great habits that you can use to be able to create a phenomenal business structure. Phenomenal individuals create more productivity and effectiveness in the organization. And then we move into the consulting model. Next slide. And that starts with leadership. Leadership is us being able to design a vision for the organization. Or as coach consultants, help the company design a vision that's not just a vision. That sounds like every other vision that is out in the marketplace. And you can't even differentiate whose vision is what. Like a real meaningful vision that creates real inspiration, creates more wealth, creates more clients, and helps you really create a team that really wants to chase and fulfill that vision. We show you how to craft that magnetic vision. Then next we of course show you the power of marketing. And people make it so complicated. I mean, if you look at a business, even your own business, you'll find your marketing systems are really, really complicated. And one of the things that we have found is great marketing is simple. Great businesses are simple. And we show you how to create marketing so effectively, so efficiently that you get successful really, really fast. It will help you make more money. The clients will find a lot more success, and clients will find a lot more ease. The teams that are functioning within the marketing frame will also grow. We have seen just deploying the systems that we show you in marketing can increase the revenue of the company from 10 to 30% within the scope of 12 months. That is a 10 to 30% gain in income for any company that you work with as a coach and consultant to them. Next slide. Which brings us to client experience. We want to create great client experiences. That's one of the foundations of a successful company, is can you create braving facts? And that's what we show you again in a templated format on consistently being able to produce products that outperform the product that they currently are delivering to the client. Making the clients not just clients who pay them money, but actually raving fans. And of course it leads to increase in income of the company. Next slide. Which brings me to money. We all have money mindset issues. And guess what? Most entrepreneurs do as well, which is one of the big reasons why they feel stuck. It's like the question that Vivian got asked by Bob Proctor. But there are many other things that one needs to understand about money mindset, but also practicality of money. How does one understand a cash flow statement? It feels so overwhelming to an entrepreneur because that's not what they started the business for. They didn't start the business so they can Understand cash flow and P and L. But what if you could simplify all of that for them? Wouldn't that increase their net profit of the company? Wouldn't that help the company increase their revenue significantly? We show you all of that in a simple template version. That's the, that's the key to success there. It's not one of those things where you go, oh my God, I have to spend hours and hours to understand it. We give you simple templates that you deploy and it creates success already. It repeats that. Can you go go forward Vishen money and next systems. And systems is something that makes the operational efficiency of the company go up. As you start working with organizations and companies that are doing over 3 million in revenue or 5 million in revenue, you'll find that the challenge becomes that systems are in the head of the founder or systems in the head of two or three individuals of the company and the rest ten are completely lost. They don't know how to actually operate without the help of the person that is owning that system in their head. And we show you how to deploy these systems. It increases productivity, it increases efficiency of the entire business and creates overall higher performance for the business and different teams in the business. Next slide. It brings me to strategy. Strategy is where you can simply understand where the company is going in the next few years. You simplify your vision, you unite your team and you drive success with a purposeful alignment. You don't feel like we don't know where we are going. A team member can feel the energy of going, oh, there's this is where company is going. I'm excited about it. I'm going to follow through on it. Which brings me to planning. Next slide which is basically taking this big strategy and make it actionable. Right? How many times do we have great strategies but it never really translate into action, never really translates into success with the company. This is the gap that we teach you how to fulfill for any organization that you go into giving you templates that you can simply deploy and that will create that plan. That will all that is more likely to succeed than anything else. These simple things will help the Companies grow by 10, 20% fairly easily and fairly quickly for any organization. Back to you, Vishen.
Okay, so imagine if the application of these ideas could help your business grow by 20%, 20% year on year. And in fact that's probably a more conservative number. I know that when I started bringing in some of the frameworks that Ajit is going to be teaching you, the business completely transforms. Example one of the frameworks that Ajit teaches you is something called the opsp, the one page strategic plan. And it is a really powerful way to bring alignment, to bring goal oriented planning into your company and your team and to also as a bonus, motivate your team. When you combine that with emotional management, with leadership, with the concept of setting visions which which are so well articulated that they inspire people, you see massive leaps in how your business grows and how clients come to you, in how you attract customers, investors and so on. Right. So the benefits are this. The first two benefits are you gain now if you complete this program, the first benefit is you gain a highly valued skill set as a world class business coach. So businesses hire coaches all the time. If you're a big corporation, you might hire a coach from McKinsey or Bain & Company, many of these top consulting companies. If you're a small business, you can' for those top consulting companies. So what you often hire is a business coach, an entrepreneur coach. I hired one of these entrepreneurial coaches to help me when I was just starting out. And the results I got from this guy, I was just going back through. The notes I got from this man were astonishing. I paid him $50,000 a year. He was a guy who helped me think like a CEO. And I made back maybe 10 times that money from probably in 24 months. Okay, it was expensive, but the money came back. So there's a lot of value in being able to coach people Now. Number two is you gain a new work and life paradigm with time and money. Freedom at its cost. So many entrepreneurs fall into a trap where the business owns them. They leave their job to become an entrepreneur, to chase freedom. But then they find that freedom is elusive. It's so hard to run the business, to keep it surviving that they are chained to their desk. They are worried about money, they're worried about losing clients. Many people I know have been there. I've been there. But if you learn the right tools, the right mindset tools, and Ajit goes deep into mindset as well, you avoid this trap. Number three, you become a treasured asset into today's leading businesses and entrepreneurs. Okay, so you don't want to be a coach. You're employed by a business. This is one of the smartest things you can do in your career. When you get this certificate. People have used the certificate to go to their boss and negotiate a salary raise because they now are trained beyond the regular employee. Especially if you work for, for a small company. Right. Number four, stratospheric growth of Your own business, career or team. If you're leading a team, if you're running your own business, the principles you learn on vision, on leadership, on mindset, on emotional intelligence, on management, all of these come together and you, you get a shortcut. Rather than go through years and years and years of trial and error, making common mistakes that entrepreneurs. You're learning from my mistakes. I mean, I've been doing this now for 20 years. It took me 20 years to get a business to over a hundred million. And I can tell you, if I had Learned these mistakes 10 years ago, I probably would have been twice, even twice the size I am today. You don't have to make mistakes. You can learn from other people's mistakes. And that's one of the key things that happens here. Number five, infinite possibilities for positive impact. Once you learn these skills, you don't just apply them to one business, you can deploy them to new products, to new ideas. Today, Mindvalley is running so well that I'm able to dedicate my attention to a new business. The newest business I launched, which was with Ajit two years ago, was Mindvalley Certifications. That business is now booming. It's now a $20 million a year business. We trained 7,000 people in the last 18 months and we are really proud of that. And it's growing and growing and growing. It grew 300% between year one and year two. And now I'm launching yet another business which you'll hear about probably in a couple of months. But it's because once you learn these tools, they are infinitely deployable. You can replicate these with multiple ideas, multiple businesses. You know, the patents, you have a patent recognition where you can replicate success. And number six, you gain a pioneering role in the future of business. This makes you future proof. A report just came out, came out that said that because of ChatGPT and new AI, 50% of the work of white collar workers are going to disappear in the next one year. My God, this report is damning 50% of the work. Now what this means is that a, a lot of people are going to become obsolete. But it also means that people who are smart and are learning how to use AI, who are learning to climb what is called the ladder of complexity, their jobs become more important than ever. Read the news. Google just announced the second round of layoffs. Amazon just laid off tens of thousands of people. Facebook is about to lay off people again. All of these massive companies are laying off people like crazy. At Mindvalley at the start of the year, we had 30 positions open for marketing and business. ChatGPT came out in January. By end of February, 30 of those positions disappeared. Only five were left. Why? Because we found that with these new tools, productivity could accelerate and many things that you once needed humans for could be outsourced to AI. This is the reality of the world today. And it's getting more, and it's getting more severe. But if you climb the ladder of complexity, if you learn strategic thinking, if you learn to apply these models, if you learn human tools such as emotional mastery, crafting a vision, leadership, you grow in your value. You become future proof. Okay, so if you guys, if that excites you, drop a yes in the chat. And now we'll describe how it works and what the, what the pricing is. So firstly, the biggest investment here, I want to say, is not money. Because Mindvalley has economies of scale. We lower the price. The price for a comparable training like this is going to be between 10 and 12K. This is going to be less than half. Okay? So let's get that out of the way. The reason for that is because we drop the price. That's always been our policy. When I first took Lifebook, that incredible goal setting system, you know, maybe you guys have a Lifebook. I have my Lifebook right over here. This Lifebook, this process cost me $5,000. And when mindvalley acquired lifebook and brought it into mindvalley, today lifebook is less than 500. That is a 90 price reduction. Why? Because when we create something great, we have the platform to get it out to a lot of people. And because of economies of scale, we can bring the price down so we make more revenue and significantly greater impact. 10 times more people are able to reach it. This is one of the things that we are able to do here. So the biggest issue is not price. The thing that you do have to pay attention to is time investment. Now the time investment is going to be approximately three to three and a half hours a week for 16 weeks. That's what you have to do. But I will tell you this. Those three hours that you spend every week, you can easily find it. The average American today, based on a recent study, spends a combined three hours a day on social media and on tv. So don't take this out of your family time. You don't even have to take this out of your work time. Take it out of your social media time. And what you're going to find is the way Ajit teaches, because you're going to be in such an exciting class with Such passionate people. You're going to gain that connection, you're going to gain friendships, you're going to have a lot of fun. What we often seek on television fun, what we seek on social media connection, you actually gain it here. So just discard one day of social media and TV time a week. One day a week. That's all I'm asking you. And you're going to see incredible results. Now, I know you're busy, all of us are busy. This is yet another thing to learn. But if you're learning how to do business, this is going to make the 50 to 40 to 50 to 60 hours a week you work more effective because you're learning how to think. You're getting a cheat sheet, you're getting templates. The amount of time you have to work to get things done in your business at the same level is going to go down because you have the cheat codes. And this is where the three and a half hours actually buys you that time. By month one, you will have sufficient cheat codes where you can get more done in less time. Okay? Now, as long as your business is under, is doing under 100 million in sales, you're going to learn something here because you're learning from Mindvalley. We're already at over 100 million. As long as your business is doing under 100 million in sales, there's experience I have and Ajit has that we believe you can benefit from. Okay, now the first thing is easy to follow. Weekly training. Okay, so this is 60 to 90 minutes a week. And Ajit, why don't you jump in here and break this down for us. What, what would be, what are you going to cover in these weekly training?
Absolutely. So every single week you get a training that comes to your inbox every Monday, 60 to 90 minutes. And it covers one of the 12 topics that I covered previously in the presentation that teaches you either how to coach or how to consult. Then from there, the next week, during that week, the second thing that happens is we get to interact live. There's a live Q and A every single week that I come in and answer all of your questions. This is about 60 minutes every single week. This happens live, which means you're live interacting with me. You're sending in your questions, I'm coaching you, we're working together. We're looking at your questions there as well.
Right. It's very interactive. You meet all of the other students you become. It's like a really close knit class.
Yes. You see all your friends and this is one of the things that we've seen, Vishen is pretty much every single time people take a class with us on the CBC certification or any of our certifications, they say, I found my next best friend. And so they find great friendship.
So, Ajit, people are asking, I see the Asta and Christina asking, what times are these classes?
So the first thing, which is unlocked as a weekly training, is unlocked every Monday. So you can watch it whenever you want within the week. The second day.
It releases on Monday. And you can watch it on your MindValley app or on your. On your desktop. On MindValley Home.
Yeah. And so you can go watch it there. The second one is live. This happens every Wednesday at 7am PST. So it happens about two, two hours before, like right now, but every single Wednesday. Right. So that's something which is live. Yeah.
So 7:00am PST, which means if you're living in California, you probably on Wednesdays, just on Wednesdays, you want to aim to wake up at 6:45, grab your cup of coffee, and from 7 to 8, you're going to be in this class of really inspiring people. And the best thing is, so many entrepreneurs I know are feeling alone. 50% of CEOs in America report feelings of loneliness. You're not lonely anymore. You're with people going through the same struggles, the same pain, and you're going to connect deeply with these people every 7am PST. Now, if you're in the east coast, it's going to be 10:00am, okay. So you may have to adjust your work hours. 10am if you're in Estonia, where I am at 6pm, if you're in London, it's roughly 4pm yeah.
And then the next thing is where you have real life coaching part. This is where you take everything that you learned in the live Q and A or in the prerecorded training that you pick, and then you actually practice it with a group of individuals. Now, this happens three times through the entire week, and you can choose any of the times, and the times are always picked for different time zones that we have enrollments from. So irrespective of where you are, there will always be a time that is available that you can choose to take. And this is about 60 minutes every single week that you come in and you go into pods and you practice. This is again, great place where you build friendships and you actually build a skill. You're not passively just consuming information, you're actually working with someone with that information. And so you become really proficient in that skill.
Itself Amazing, right? And these pods, I know several friends of mine who joined this program and are in their pods and they became really good friends with their podmates.
Yeah. And then lastly is we, you have to go through like any, any certification, anything that wants to verify, give you a certificate of completion, certificate that you are qualified to do something. We have some periodical assessments. These happen again at your own time. So you don't have to like you can take it whenever you want. But it's usually happens every couple of weeks that we evaluate and track the progress to make sure you're breast of the course, you understand? And you can always retake them and rewatch the modules and come back in case something not, not landing for you and not clear for you.
Okay. And Ajit Valentina here is asking a very good question. What happens if you skip a week? Can you catch up?
You can, yeah, you can absolutely catch up. We give you a little bit extra time to be able to catch up. What we suggest and recommend is you have to do at least 80% of the pods. The pods also sometimes you know, you would be in a vacation, you might be traveling, it might be summer vacation, whatever it might be, you can, you can, you can do it later. But everything that is live Q and A and pre recorded, you can do anytime you want. So you can catch up. If you miss like two weeks or three weeks, you can catch up later. It's just a lot to catch up then. But you can.
Okay, now that's not all. Now there are a couple of bonuses that come with this program as well. While yes, you're going to learn so much about business, you're going to get a certificate, you now have a new career, a new stream of income you can generate. We'll also do our best to give you additional bonuses to really show, to really give you value. One of these bonuses is that you get listed on Mindvalley's coaching platform. A second bonus is that those of you who want to go really deep and become a master coach, get tons of clients like that guy who did like 80 coaching hours and made an extra 100k a year. Well, we're going to give you three programs all produced by Mindvalley with Ajit, where you learn how to create a coaching business, start your coaching business, grow and market your coaching business. Ajit, could you quickly give us a summary of these three programs?
Absolutely. These programs are designed for different levels of coaching journey that you're on. When you're starting a business, you need different skills. If you've Already created your first 10 clients. You need different skills. These programs are basically stacked on top of each other. These are all four to five week programs that, that give you the required skills. So you can take everything that you learned at CBC or Certified Business Coach and then go into the world and actually start building a practice. These are real practices that you can implement immediately. Instead, you see, there were tons of testimonials and tons of case studies that we talked about where people made $10,000 in the first 30 days of the program. People making, I'm not promising any of this, but you saw people making $100,000 getting four clients. It's because we give you real strategies that you can implement right away. It doesn't require you to build a big audience or a big following. These are strategies you can deploy right now as you are doing the program so you can create that success straight away. There are so many of our clients or students, a certified business coach that come in saying, hey, I want to put the intention of making my investment back during the course of the program. And they start taking these quests as soon as they're learning the program. So they are able to generate those clients while they're going through the program. And that's why we give you that so you can, you can actually start making and generating money as you're going through the program.
Okay, now the next one is Ajit is inviting you to attend on on Zoom, a business training event where you learn this goes, just goes deeper, but you learn how to build and grow your business as a coach. Ajit, tell us about this.
So what we found is one of the biggest gaps that coaches have. And a lot of you identify as coach consultants yourself. But biggest gap that you have is a lot of times you have a lot of ideas but you don't know how to put it into a plan and a structure that actually creates results. So we go deep for three hours and I walk you through a process that I do with companies which makes them hundreds of thousands of dollars. And I'd really take you through that experience for three hours so you can have a real plan and then you can walk out with that plan and start implementing that plan and create success for yourself. Now this happens after the certification is over. This is something that we make sure that you. So really what we don't only want you to do is to become a certified business coach. We want you to have a successful business coaching practice after that. And these are all support systems for that. So you, you, we spent three hours together Building this as a group, not just not me and you, but we as a group come together and I walk you through this entire journey.
And then the final thing, and this is something we're really excited about. So many people become friends, they become connected. In our coaching pods that we thought it would be amazing to have a grand event where all our coaches could come together. So we started doing that last year. It happens in Estonia, which is directly outside my window. This is where I live. So in Estonia, Mindvalley does an incredible event called Mindvalley University. Two thousand people show up here and it's, it's a three week festival of personal growth. And just before Mindvalley University, we do the two day super coach event where our coaches from all across the world come together. And it's, it's a lot of networking, a lot of dinners, a lot of breakout groups, a lot of incredible parties. But it's all designed to get our coaches to connect deeply and form allyship and friendship. So you get a free ticket to this. It's a $2,000 event. You get that $2,000 ticket free, completely free, just from signing up today because we want to see you in person and we want you to connect with other coaches. The people over here, there were actually 600 people in this picture. We couldn't fit them on this slide. But the people over here flew in from all around the world. About 40% of them were from the United States. They flew in from all around the world to experience Tallinn, Estonia in the summer. It's an incredible place and to connect and form friendships. Okay, so you get invited to this event. All the pictures you're seeing here are actual pictures from the supercoach event. It is, it's an incredible, incredible place to be. Now here's what the program costs. Okay, so well, before we go to the cost, if you could make that $5,000 while you're doing this program just from clients, how would you feel? Many of our of the students who have gone through this program have actually been able to do that because the average package for one on one coaching for a new business coach is about five grand for three months. So you get one good coaching client and you make your money back. Now let's, let's summarize the value of the program. Okay, so this is everything that you're getting. Complete.
Oops.
This is everything that you're getting. Okay. 16 week program, live classroom coaching labs, Mindvalley certified business coach certification. Your business coach profile on the Mindvalley website. Access to Mindvalley's Find the Coach platform, invite to our Super Coach event, the Grow your business package and the live online business training event. All of these, if you add it all up, the value could be as much as 36,500. The price of this program is 6,000. So it's 6,000 for the entire four week certification. But what we do is if you apply before March 25th, you save a thousand dollars. So it's basically 5,000 4,999 if you get your application in before March 25th, which is, is that Saturday, Ajit?
Yes, that is Saturday.
Yeah. So as long as you get your application in before 11:59pm Saturday, it's, it's, it's 4999. Now here's how the program works. Because it is a cohort, it's a class. You do have to apply. We go through your application. It's a 90% application rate. 10% of people don't get in. And those reasons we keep confidential. Right, but there's a 90% chance you'll get in. But the reason we do it is because curation is important. The people you meet here are going to be really good allies and friends. So we want to make sure that your reasons for becoming a coach, your reasons for joining are all legitimate. And this is also good for you. You know, everyone who joined is there for the right reason. So it's a $200 application fee. We will, you will hear a yes or no on your application really soon. And then if it's a yes, then you automatically get billed the balance for site 4799 total is 4999 5000. And it's a no. You just get your $200 back. So you don't risk anything. Now also, even after you've paid the full 4999, you have two weeks to try the program out. There's a two week guarantee. So you can go for two weeks of training with Ajit. And at any point you in that two weeks, if you feel this isn't right for you, just shoot an email and you get your 4999 back, no problem. Okay. So you get to test it out as well. And so that's how the program works. I'm going to invite Ajit if he wants to say a few closing words. And you guys now have all the information you need.
Thank you so much, Vishen. And yes, you do have all the information that you need. And really, like Richmond said, there's nothing really to risk for you here. All you're doing is a $200 deposit to make sure you get in the, get in the program, at least apply for the program, make sure that you get the deal that we are offering right now and then try it for yourself. I think one of the greatest successes that will be in the coming times, the greatest challenges also that we are going to be seeing in the coming times are small businesses trying to thrive in this ever changing economy, ever changing world. And somebody like you could be that support that they really, really need. In my experience of past 8, 10 years of me coaching businesses, I found companies that were on the verge of shutting down to find success again, which had great products, but be able to, not able to turn a profit and just somebody coming in, helping them out with the systems that I share with you could just completely change their reality. I remember a company that was 40 years in business but was not able to turn a profit in the last five years that the founders were going broke at that point. And just because of some of the tools that I share with you, they were able to renew their business and now they're very profitable and successful business. I remember individuals that were struggling for four or five years to start their businesses just because business can be so overwhelming, finally able to start their businesses because of the tools that I share with you in this program. And so I really want to take this work forward. I know businesses are foundations of different countries, most countries success. And once we are all elevated with that abundance that business provides to all of us, our company, our countries can thrive, we as human beings can thrive. And I think society overall thrives. So that's my invitation. If that is something that, that you're interested in, I would love for you to give this a shot.
So this is the website. You can, you can point your web, your, your camera to that QR code or you can go to mindvalley.com forward/certs, forward slash business. Forward slash early bird. Don't forget to put in early bird so you get that thousand dollars off. Okay? Now if you're wondering if I don't join this time, can I join later? Yes, you can, but it only happens once a year because there is live teaching. It's not a recording. Ajit is committing to four months of teaching you and that's a lot of work for him. He's got two kids and a wonderful wife and he's a busy, busy, busy man. But so it only happens once a year. Okay, so, but do you really want to wait once a year? Because think about what One year of this will do for your life, your business. Now, if you need a payment plan, and I see some people are asking for it, this is what I suggest you do. We do offer payment plans, absolutely. We try to make this work for people. So when you put in your application fee, you're going to get an email if you're accepted. Right back to us on that email. Right back to us on that email. I'm not going to give up the email now because I want to make sure you're serious. So you got to put in the application fee but reply to the email and said, hey guys, I would like a payment plan and then we'll sort.
It out for you.
Okay? So Ajit, would that be okay?
Yeah, that's perfect. That's, that's exactly what we want you to do, is to make a deposit, make a commitment and then we'll, we'll try to make it work for you in the best way we can.
And now let's answer some questions. So we'll now spend the next, let's see, it is 6:55. We'll spend 20 minutes answering questions. Okay. And then you guys have all the information you need. So feel free to apply. So click on the Q A button on, on Zoom and you will see questions that have come in and you'll, and if you see a question you like, go ahead and vote. Give it a thumbs up so it goes up. We'll answer the most popular questions and you can also put in your question. Now while doing that, I want to, I'm going to just share with you additional stories from the hundreds of members who have graduated from this. So Eveline Rabauld, successful executive from Austria, 25 years in the industry, she was able to update so many processes within her company and see productivity results from it. Latifah Alger from the UAE was so excited to complete this program because of how it was able to help her contribute to more growth in the fashion industry in the United Arab Emirates. Dennis Urkus realized from this program all the tools available to her to make smart decisions for holistic sustainability which really mattered to her. Now again, look at the experience level of these people. Denise Urkuz, corporate warrior with 27 plus years. Sorry, 27 plus years, solid experience as a finance and investment expert. So the people joining these are not beginners. They are people who are well established and they are still having great revelations. Mehul Takar said, this is the perfect course for someone that's looking for theory plus practice. All of these people, you see other people, by the way, that you are also connected to in the class. So you are learning from really incredible minds. Bogey Fagali from Norway has been a coach for 20 years and he says this certification surpassed my already high expectations. Bringing together coaching and consulting, that's a really key point. Boge, this is a. Sorry, wrong name there. But this one this lady said, standout experience, completely transformational. Nancy Douglas said, I now have the skill set, tools and techniques to really help businesses and individuals be the best they can be. And we go on and on and on. Sarah Sabin used it to design a new group program for managerial levels in her company. Christine Dyer help said it helped to find her calling as a coach. Alexis Glanwell was looking for fulfillment in her life and she said she found this exciting and at the end of it she realized how she could have a greater impact on others. Jackie Meeks said, if you want to start a practice or add to your business, this course is a musk must. And remember, all of this is guaranteed. You can sign up for it and you have two weeks to go into the program. And if you like the program, if you don't like the program, take your money back. And if you like the program, congratulations, you're in for the ride of your life. Now I do want to address one question. So I see. Apana Bhatia said, hey Vishen, it is so damn expensive, I can't afford it. The price needs to be lowered. No apartheid. The price is already half what you will get for for comparable programs. Please go and look it up when you join a university, right? Think about what you're paying. Now of course I know in Europe universities are cheaper, but of course we're paying taxes for that in America. When I studied in the U.S. i was paying the equivalent of $15,000 for a semester. $15,000 for a Semester. Very little of what you learn in university is applicable in your Life. Here it's 5,000. Yes, but it's directly applicable to your life. You get a certificate where immediately before you even finish the program, you can start bringing on clients. You learn tools before you even finish the program, you can deploy those tools in those business, increase revenue, increase profit, pay yourself more. It is absolutely worth the price. In fact, it is significantly more valuable than the price that we are charging. So no upon I, I completely disagree. Now if you need a payment plan, you can get a payment plan. But we have to charge what is deserving of the price. If we keep it too low, what happens is this. Anybody and anyone can get in and then the quality of the class isn't as good. If you can afford this, you're already at a certain level and you're going to meet other people at that level. And so the bonus is not just a program. The bonus is your peer group. Guys, I was part of $100,000 a year mastermind. You know why I was joined $100,000 a year mastermind? Because the other CEOs and entrepreneurs I met in that $100,000 a year mastermind had insights and ideas that were so transformative. Now, of course, that's next level, right? That the quality of the. But the price determines the quality of the group and the peer and the peers that you're going to connect with. And those peers are going to be really valuable. You saw some of their names, you saw the experience levels. They are an incredible bunch of people. So price is absolutely worthwhile. Now let's go on to the Q and A. So the first Q and A with the most.
So I want to answer the most words. The first four or five questions are all related to icf. So I'm just going to go ahead and answer that. So our relationship, we have relationship with two bodies. One is icf. We don't accredit you as an ICF coach, but we give you what is called a continuous education unit or CCE unit, which are helpful if you're already an accredited ICF coach. But let's say you're looking for a basic accreditation. Then you go for emcc, which is European Mentoring and Coaching counsel, where you can, after taking certified business coach, we train you for it. You have to go ahead and do a test on their website. You do that test and you can get an accreditation from emcc. That's just our relationship with either of those bodies. So you could get. It's not an accreditation for icf, it's a recognition by ICF for CCE units and it's an accreditation by emcc. So that's the answer to probably the first five questions I think were just around that.
Okay, so that's great. So thank you, Charlie and. And the other people who asked that question. So I think you guys understand the accreditation. The other thing to understand over here is, is when it comes to coaching certifications, the body that is certifying you matters. And that's where the mindvalley brand is very valuable because we're the biggest mindbody spirit platform. And two years ago since we went into entrepreneurship and business, so many leading business leaders have joined mindvalley From Vern Harnish, who founded eo, the world's biggest entrepreneurial networking group, to keep Farazi, who's going to be. Who's one of the most prolific guests on the Harvard Business Review. They're all part of Mindvalley. To Mickey Agrawal, the famed female entrepreneur who took three companies to $100 million plus. All of these now teach in Mindvalley. And so the brand is recognizable within businesses. If you travel Emirates Airlines, mindvalleys and Emirates Airlines, Itihad, Finnair, it's in so many major airlines as well. And so people get that brand name right and that brand name is just growing and growing and growing. And so you can get business certified by a small institute somewhere in, in Vermont or something. And the institutes like that, and they are great, but their brand isn't as big. And so you are just random brand business coach. But here you're Mindvalley certified business coach and that increases the way people perceive you in the market. Just like large corporations, when you're hiring a consultant, you look for the big, the, the, the big names. McKinsey, Bain, Boston Consulting. If you're looking for someone in the world of finance, you're going to look at Deloitte, for example, big name in small businesses. If you're hiring a coach, you're going to look for the where they are certified. And if they are mindvalley Certified business coach, you know that you're getting access to someone who has gone through some really thorough, remarkable training and has that brand name. So that also matters.
Cool. The next question that I'm seeing that is different is becoming a business coach with no prior experience can be challenging, but is it impossible to take it seriously between the age of 25 and 30? I would say no, that's not the case. It does matter what your level of confidence is once you build the skills and which type of company you're going to approach first. But that's mostly a game of that. What we do is we train you so well across these dimensions that you're actually hijacking the years and years of experience that somebody would take to learn all of those skills. And that's the beauty of certified business coach. Think about it like this. People who came in with 20, 25 years experience inside the program said, I learned so much out of it. Why is that? The reason for that is because we have taken really complex ideas and simplified them into templates that somebody can deploy really easily. It doesn't matter what your age is. That's a number that we come up with and we start believing is true for us or that determines our success. That's just not true. In any case, we have made it simple enough that somebody who comes in as somebody like Austin, who is a young person that came in, got a $10,000 client, first 30 days of the program, that's a young person taking the same certification. And then you also saw CEOs that were 20, 25 years of experience saying I learned so much in the program that I was able to grow my company. So your age is just a number that you are creating as a limitation for yourself. I don't think it necessarily affects your your results in the outside world.
Perfect somebody. So IO Ayobani asks how long will I have access to the trainings in the course?
So you will have access to the course, but your certificate is valid and you have to renew it by. By re up by following some protocols that we will tell you which are very inexpensive, but you just have to do them every year so you're abreast to the models and you're practicing as a coach. So that's all that is. But you'll access to the material. You can print them out, you can keep them with for yourself, then keep them for yourself for a long period of time. But if you want to keep the certificate, you have to recertify every year. It's a very simple protocol. You have to do four quests inside the coaching platform, which is Evercoach, which is basically inside the mindvalley platform. And you just have to make sure that you're doing four quests a year so you are training yourself consistently. See, we don't want you to learn just one set of tools and then never practice anything else again. We want you to stay abreast. We keep adding new, better courses and we want you to keep upgrading your skill. And that's all it is. We make it really inexpensive for people who are certified with us.
Awesome.
To keep.
Another question is, is why would I go with the certification from mindvalley instead of another company? Well, you definitely want to do your research, right? But I already explained with Mindvalley what you're going to see is for relative to the value you're getting, the price is going to be lower because of economies of scale, because we have a larger reach. And secondly, because we have a larger reach, we have a recognized brand name, which definitely is an advantage. If you are certified and you're certified by a company or a body rather than an individual, it actually gives you more clout so let's say there is a business coach called Tom Schmoll Business Coaching Certification. You become a Tom Schmo coach. But if people don't know Tom Schmo, and if you're not Tom Schmoll, it doesn't say much about you. You sound like you're, you're, you've learned someone else's techniques, but you're not that person. But when you're a mindvalley certified business coach, you're part of something much bigger than any one individual. You're part of a platform that's the world's biggest mind body spirit platform. A platform where we have incredible programs by many leading business teachers and a platform that you see in airlines all around the world that is currently being used to train various government departments across the US and in many countries around the world. A platform that is in companies across the world. So that recognition definitely matters. So I'll give you an example. When Vern Harnish, who founded eo, which is the largest entrepreneurial group in the world, he wanted to create a course for entrepreneurs who are looking to go from 0 to 1 million, right? He created that course. And that official course sits on mindvalley. He created it and he put it on mindvalley because he trusts the power of this platform to, to, to, to grow and to get reach out to entrepreneurs. And so because of that level of trust from business leaders around the world, from companies that name matters. And that's what you want to pay attention to. Next question K. Smith asks, does this class cover financial analysis of a business?
So it depends on what you mean by financial analysis. We show you how to simplify a financial model for a company that is doing under 50, under 100 million in revenue. But if you're looking to become a financial analyst using this program, the answer is no. You should go do a financial specific course. So not as financial analyst, but it's enough understanding of finances that a business can turn a better profit for the company and can turn a better management of cash flow, which is really important for small companies. So that's really our focus there. Okay.
And then Suat asks, do I have to have a specific skill or specialization to coach before entering this program?
No, you don't need any special skills or specialization. What tends to happen is we think, oh, I'm learning a new skill. Let's say you're learning the skill of becoming a business coach. And so everything I've done in life is useless until that point. That's not true. You have done life you have done an experience, you probably worked in a company, you will borrow all that experience and bring it to your certification. That is what will make it unique because you have had life that you have done before, but you don't need a minimum education. We train you on everything that you need to know to be able to successfully coach consult a company. Now what tends to happen is that if you have had prior experience, let's say in technology or in marketing or in a particular industry like real estate, what your first career as a coach would look like is probably going to be aligned to that. So you may start working with technology companies as a coach consultant or with real estate companies as a coach consultant. Just because your life's prior experience that you borrow to, to for the understanding of industries and for access to information and people that you already have, you will bring that into your coaching practice and that will be your first set of clients and customers that you'll end up working with. So that's the only thing that you're really borrowing from your past. But yes, you will take some of that, but you don't need to have any experience of coaching or consulting. We train you on everything.
Awesome. So Jackel said, if I have zero coaching and business experience, the business coaching program is for me. Not sure how that fits.
So that's another one of those classic mistakes, right? You think that, oh, if I have to coach consult a business, I must know business myself. You're confusing mentoring and coaching. Mentoring is where you need to have business experience. Like if somebody was to talk to Vishen right now, he would go, well, I'm talking to Vishen because he's built a hundred million dollar company. I want to learn how to build $100 million company. I want to work with vision. And that's you asking for mentoring. But for example, sometimes I have worked with companies. I'm a coach to the company that has done 200 million in revenue. Now let me tell you the truth. I have never built a $200 million company. But they're not looking for mentoring, they're looking for coaching and consulting. They're looking for simplification of their system, looking for the outside view of their own mindset, their own emotional management. For that you don't need to generate the same amount of income or revenue. It's not actually correlated. For that matter, there's a book called A Billion Dollar Coach. This book is about the number one coach. He's not alive anymore. He's passed now, but he was the number one coach of Silicon Valley he was the coach for Steve Jobs, Larry Page, Sergey Brin and many others like that. So you would go, wow, this guy must be a trillionaire because he's training and coaching people who are billion dollar companies. That person, before starting coaching them was a football coach. So he was making not even a hundred thousand dollars probably, or maybe a few hundred thousand dollars. And he was coaching people that were running the biggest and most successful companies in the world even till date. And now he's passed. Of course he's not coaching them anymore, but he was. And that book is written by, I think, Sergey Brin.
Let me try to explain. You're confusing mentoring and coaching. A mentor is someone. So when you seek a mentor, it's someone who has been there and done that. So they are entrepreneurs who consider me a mentor. And if I have time, I may sit down with them and give them some advice. But my advice is unstructured because I'm in the business of being a CEO. I'm not in the business of teaching people or coaching people. But if someone I like, you know, asks me to mentor them for over coffee, I may occasionally do it. That's a mentor. Mentors need experience. Coaches don't need experience. They need process, template and the ability to guide someone to follow through on the process and template. Coaches have more time for you. They can give you one on one and they're using a process and template that comes from a governing body. And then they teach you to follow that process and template. So a coach may not have built a business, they may not even be an entrepreneur, but they can help you be a better entrepreneur because they are teaching you a process. For example, the one page strategic plan process, or the process for building a vivid vision to motivate employees, or the process of using objectives and key results to keep teams on track. They teach you that process. They handhold you, they educate you. So they are highly effective teachers. But a coach is different from a mentor, right? If you ask me to coach you, it's going to cost you a million dollars. You're never going to coach you because that's not my business. But a coach is someone who has taken some of the protocols that I use, that Vern Harnisch uses, that Ajit uses and has and has been trained to take you through those protocols step by step by step so that you as a business owner can transform. And that's why people pay someone like Austin 10 grand. It's not Austin, it's the protocols. He has been trained to take that business leader on that's where a coach is different. And that's why some of our coaches come straight off the bat. If they are good at human connection, if they're good at teaching, if they are good at empathy and listening and guiding, they become an effective coach. But that said, it's a four month program. Remember, 16 weeks. Three weeks are spent teaching you the business templates. Sorry. Three months are spent teaching you the business protocols and templates. One month is spent teaching you how to be a coach. Ajit, what do you cover in the coaching portion of it?
The coaching portion covers four key elements. First is communication. Second is emotional management. Third is behavior change. And fourth is mindset change. So those are the four foundational things. We teach all four of them in context of businesses, but it's a very different training than anything else that you might have seen outside in the world because they take real business challenges and turns them into a format that can be deployed in companies and organizations.
Right. Okay, so thank you, guys. We've reached the end of this session, but we still have about 600 people over here. Do you guys have more questions? What I recommend is go to the webpage that we sent you. Okay. I'm gonna bring that page back up. Okay. Go to the webpage, check it out. Put in the application right now, and the application at least secures your spot. So even if one week from now you decide, you know, this isn't for me, I want to go back to spending that extra three hours a week just on Netflix and Instagram. Screw business coaching. You can just get that $200 back, no worries. Okay. But at least you. You lock in the thousand dollars saving. So put in that application right now. Okay. And let me see if there are more questions coming in. They are, but there are no more major questions. Ajit, anything else you want to add?
No. I see maybe a question that is repeating in multiple ways, which is, if I am a life coach, how do I tap into business? Or can I tap into business? Or is it any different? It is very different. Life coaching and business coaching are very different fields. Business framing is much different because it's a different set of problems. That's why it's a coach consultant approach. It's not just a coaching approach. You can't just coach a company. CEOs, founders, leaders don't have the time to just sit down and talk to you for hours and hours on hours. They need results, they need solutions. Which is why it's a coach consultant approach. And that's why it's not only Little, but it's significantly different than what it is. And it is also, like we mentioned before, is one of those skills that are more valued because it's easier to say yes. Because a return on investment in a business coach is pretty evident, right? You work with a coach, you can see increase in your revenue or your profits or your productivity, and you can easily correlate that to the amount of money that you're paying to a business coach. It's a significantly easier yes for a business or a person to say yes to a business coach. So that those are some of those primary differences between life and business coaching. And all I want to end with is I'm really excited to bring this to the world. I'm really excited to bring this opportunity of being able to work in these small businesses that need the help, are willing to pay, they're ready to work and grow like you are. If you are a small business owner yourself as a coach, as a consultant, you are also yourself a business owner and you would find tremendous amount of value for yourself as you're going through this program. It's not just something that you will help others build their businesses. These are things that you can use in your own business and immediately see results and transformation for your business. So with that, that is pretty much for my end vision. You want to close it out?
No, I think we're good. So thank you everyone. I'm going to leave the the the link to join. And remember, the class starts on April 3rd. Okay. So April 3rd is when the class kicks off.
